TIE Bomber LT- DREX
Hypori. A planet with a relatively unremarkable history. Originally uninhabited, the rock had seen a few wars and limited colonization before eventually ending up as a production center for the Union. Low civilian population, a few arid deserts, and a large corporate workforce that required unholy amounts of energy to function. A perfect place to test a combination of outdated patents that had the potential to revolutionize energy across the entirety of the Techno Union. After careful consideration the Tower Project Team had decided on a location near the center of the world's largest desert, an area now buzzing with activity as Union skimmers came and went. Teams of workers and engineers bustled about, they'd already begun laying the foundation, while shuttles brought in raw material and construction equipment. Portable barracks and storage areas had been set up for the entire crew.
Everything was set.
Ross wiped a line of sweat from his brow as he stood in the sand, observing the fruition of his idea. The Executive Council had amazed him in how quickly they'd approved the project and allocated funding for it. From what he'd seen of galactic government they were rarely so efficient or progress minded. That feeling came back. An excitement that the former PI had only recently begun manifesting itself in the farthest corner of his gut. He was building something. Something tangible. Something that would have an impact on the quality of life for an entire planet.
It boggled the mind.
Behind his sunglasses his eyes gleamed, as the bright sunlight reflected off the sand. He wondered how they looked from above. A group of bustling grey ants.
Ross gave a grin.
