That was unexpected?

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra lay in the med bay as she watched the lights over her, she wasn't having them yet but she was definitely close. Only a few hours ago she had been at the meeting to form the coalition against the sith and now she was laying in a med bay in the Naboo Enclave for the Order of the Grey. There were two reasons she had ran for Naboo, first, it was where she planned to have her kids anyways as it was separated from both mando and Sith space which allowed for a certain level of freedom. Next, she had told Eve to instantly contact Vulpesen and tell him to get his fox brained ass to the naboo enclave... without his sith disguise. Lastly Alex had ordered Eve to send a very short and quick message to Taeli, simply stating. "Be cautious, company in danger, will explain later." It wasn't enough to be counted as treason, but hopefully Taeli would step up security while alex was in the med bay.

"Damn it" Thunk. "Damn it." Thunk. "Damn it." Ace's head followed Vulpesen's as it repeatedly went up, then slammed down on the Teradin wood desk. One little known fact about Vulpesen.. he HATED paperwork. And yet, he seemed to be stuck so high in it, that this thunking and cursing became a daily ritual. So, its not surprise that he let out a very loud sigh of relief when his holocom let out a loud beeping in a familiar tune. "THANK THE STARS!" He snatched the holocom up and clicked it on, only to see a face that looked like Alex's but certainly wasn't. Still, if Eve was talking, it was generally on his lover's behalf. "What is it, Eve?" A moment later and she gave him the message. "Alright, I'm on my way." Glad that he wasn't dressed as a sith, his home planet giving him no reason to be, he left his forsaken paperwork on his desk and called Ace to his shoulder before dashing for the door with a parting word to one of his aides. "Tell the others I'm off on important business. If I get myself killed, no doubt you'll hear about it from Ace or Alexandra." Just a few minutes later he was on the Twilight Vixen and star bound for [member="Alexandra Lianne Feanor"].

Taeli was relaxing in her office, just enjoying the cityscape. It had been a hectic time recently between the war and running the business, but she still found time to just appreciate things. That relaxation was broken by the buzzing of her datapad, causing her to sigh massively. Who was bothering her at this time of day, the staff knew she liked to take the hour after lunch to just think and relax.

Looking to see who it was out of one eye, she immediately grabbed it when she saw it was from her partner. Alex usually didn't contact her unless it was important, to maintain secrecy and all.

"Be cautious, company in danger, will explain later," Taeli mouthed silently to herself as she read the message. Well that didn't raise any red flags in her head or anything. Looks like that security upgrade she had been meaning to do was about to be put next on her to do list, but then again they needed to purge the last traces of Darth Banshee, or as she went nowadays, Dux Kotass from the systems anyways.

"Understood. Wish to borrow Eve." she sent back to her partner.

Alex laid there alone as she felt wave after wave of pain, eyes closed as she breathed slowly and did as she remembered reading, of course the med droids were there but for right now they tended to the preparations while she simply laid there and let the pain manifest. She stared at the roof for a couple minutes, then the back of her eyelids, then the roof again, the constant cycle a bit annoying but that was how things like this were going for Alex after all.

About the same moment as Alexandra had the first bit of pain, a wave of the force washed over Vulpesen. "Again?" He knew it well enough, even having it only happen once. It was like the very essence of the living force was trying to talk to him. Of course, he listened. Just like last time, the feeling was vague. Something important, but somehow, it was more focused in its source. It was like a pain in his arm, but he had no idea if he'd been clubbed, shot, or stabbed. At least, that was last time. But now... now, it was a wave of goodness. A warmth that seared through him. With Alex's call only a bit before, everything clicked. "THE KIDS!" Ace let out a distressed yip as Vulpesen accidentally plowed into his mind without warning. The two shared a tinge of pain from the mental collision before casting their minds into one form, allowing for the two to act in tandem with finding a faster route through the stars. It would only be three hours before Vulpesen made it to Naboo, where he would call Ace to his shoulder before dashing as fast as he could to the soon to be mother of his children.

Alexandra's hands tightened at her side as they were white from how hard she was making her fists. The med droids now started prepping for the next step as Alex forced back any form of scream or sound from leaving her, both out of pride and the fact that she just simply wished to hold back the scream. The pain was definitely there though, and flared like a beacon so much so if an empath was here they probably would leave the room rather than be in the same place as her right now.

Of every time he had used them, Vulpesen could never be more grateful for the extra joints he had in his hips, allowing him to dash through the med center on all fours.Let the nurses and doctors sort it out later, for now, nothing was gonna stop him as he used the force to sense his way to Alexandra's room. Reaching out a claws hand, he latched onto the threshold and swung himself in, sliding to her side as his legs popped into joint. "Alex, I'm here!" He reached down at took one of her hands in his, doing his best to resist the wave of pain that washed over him through the force. "I'm right here."

"Vulps, thank you for coming, but can you please shut up, i can tell you are here." Her words sounded for a moment of pain before she stared at the back of her eyelids again and winced. If she was ever going to be in this situation again, she was going to break the one that put her in it because the pain at the moment was slowly becoming quite a nuisance on her mind, and her hand started closing a bit tighter around Vulpesen's as a scream escaped her mouth.

He let out a small laugh and used his tail to pull a nearby chair over to sit at her side. "Of course." As he hand clenched over his, he bit back a small whine of pain, only to be stunned as he scream hit his sensitive zorren ears. As for her killing him after this, that was only assuming he could survive a night of her noise. Though he did have to be fair in that she probably felt worse, a good reason for why he didn't voice his concerns.

She would remain shifting between screaming and moments where she looked like it was over for another hour, her body twitching some times and soon the droids got into position. Her hand closed tighter while the droids finished preparations and her eyes shut completely as she started counting in her head, first to a hundred, then to two, then five, finally time just continued onwards.

He kept her hand in his the entire time, ignoring the crushing feeling as she laid on the medical bed with the droids going into position. He wanted to ask if there was anything he could do, but frankly, he felt rather useless. He was a warrior and at mos, a field medic. He wasn't a nurse. and he sure as hell wasn't a doctor. It was driving him crazy knowing that at that moment, all he could do, was what he was already doing. Hell, she even seemed to be breathing through it just fine so there was no real need to coach her in that.

"Y-you know... i-im blaming y-you for this..." She got out as she screamed abit and went back to breathing, hell she would rather have a building collapse on her again at this point, some karking miracle this was because so far it just felt like the devil was giving free reign at this point in someone's life. She could always just use her force empathy on Vulpesen though, and while the thought crossed her mind Daeda was already telling her not to as he also felt what she was and really didn't think Vulpesen would take kindly to the bursts of pain she was getting.

Vulpesen couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as he took the blame. "Understood." Another scream and he dipped his head, bearing the ringing in his ears for her sake. "So, how long before I came did it start?" He flicked his tail and looked around the room, his eyes surveying the various monitors as he waited for her answer.

"A few hours, and damn it hurts..." She winced again as she felt another burst of pain, obviously lesser but still painful. Her eyes ran over the ceiling and her hands curled a bit more as wave after wave came and it was a bit troublesome as a certain individual in her mind would not stop laughing... maybe there was a way to gag Hel, that would make this experience a hundred times better.

He let out a small smile and let out another twitch as she squeezed his hand. "Well, I guess our spars should have prepared you somewhat with your broken ribs and the like. Is there anything I can do?" He looked over at the med droid as it constantly gave advice, helping her through the process.

"Im going to hit you fo-" She was cut off by the wave of pain that followed and winced heavily, hearing the med droid continue to go on and on. "And tell it to shut up, i know what to do..." She did but it didn't mean she was exactly thinking right as it was, she did have the mostions down like she said though, breathing as the waves of pain hit her time after time.

He placed a hand on her back as he watched and sensed the pain move through her. Honestly, he wasn't sure if he should be proud, happy, or distressed. One one hand, the love of his life looked like she was experiencing pure hell. On the other, that hell was being caused by the fact that she was currently in the process of giving birth to his children. Deciding to heed her words, he cast a glance at the droid. "Follow orders, or I'm wiping your memory with blaster fire."

Alexandra finally screamed out in completely pain as the first of the two children began to come out, following the instructions of the droid even if she didn't need to hear them or want to. Her eyes shut tight as the process continued and she would remain like this until both came out, breathing and laying there as each wave of pain washed over her.

Vulpesen shuddered but bore the scream, watching as the children started to appear. He'd seen disembowelment, decapitations, and any number of things coming from bodies. This time however, was both wondrous... and slightly disturbing to be honest. Still, he was happy to be there for it and reached out his arms to take the first child, letting the droid take the second once it was out. He wanted to say something, but he was too busy marveling to think of the right words to say.

Once it was done Alex simply lay there, breathing slowly and sighing as she was for the most part done with the pain, or atleast to the levels that she had been caused. It was a peaceful moment though as she looked over at him, smiling. "You know, you might give him your fox brained disease if you hold him too long Vulps... or is that a her." The droid at the moment was holding the other child, doing a quick scan of it to make sure there were no immediate medical problems.
