Thayze Montserrat Palerma was born in Serenno to an Industrial Tycoon father and a Serennian noble mother of House Palerma. The family was forced to escape Serenno due to a political upheaval that threatened the family's life since his father had a close tie to the ruling family. They took refuge in Naboo where young Thayze grew up. He was enrolled in a prestigious private school to ensure that he fits in perfectly in Naboo high society, while also home-schooled on Serennian culture and practices on every school breaks. When he discovered his talent in the Force, his parents sent him to the Order of Shiraya to hone his skills and gets him closer to Naboo high society.
Due to his rigid and strict upbringing, Thayze grew up to be a brilliant yet rebellious young man with identity issues. He relates more with his Nabooian peers, enjoying a much more peaceful upbringing than both of his parents ever had, he also found a knack in partying with his old peers and ever-growing network of rich, out of touch kids, even when he was confided in the Order's academy. He is a resourceful guy who sees restriction as a challenge. On the other hand, he indulges himself more in Serennian arts and literatures, glamorizing the machiavellian figures of Serenno history over the heroic Nabooian figures, only ever seeing Serennian society from the perspective of people who once flourished in the distance planet.
Annointed as a Padawan when he was 16, he served and studied under the tutelage of his Master, who died on a mission after just two years, leaving him without a Master, still nowhere close to being ready for knighthood.
