Name: The 501st Legion
Intent: To finally submit the 501st as an NPC submission, an NPC unit that has been in existence on this board for over a year. To provide Darth Arcis with an elite, loyal, efficient, and iconic legion of Stormtroopers to further his own goals as a Sith and those of the One Sith.

This legion is arguably the most well-trained and disciplined unit in the entire Empire and galaxy. All recruits and prospects hail from the Imperial Academy or have distinguished themselves in previous conflicts and events. Trained in advanced infantry tactics and ground warfare, the five hundred and first also retains law enforcement and naval combat training, giving them the extra edge when faced in space or placed further behind friendly lines.
With their versatility being highly valued in the One Sith. They are often left to the whim of their commanding officer, Darth Arcis, and maintaining a security presence when he travels or goes into combat. The 501st legion is solely under the command of Darth Arcis, but retain loyalty to the Dark Lord.
Summary of Events:
During the battle of Atrisia, the 501st Legion led under Darth Mephirium were stationed to protect the civilians and the goals of the Sith Lord and his fellow Council. With the impending retaliation from the Galactic Alliance due to the presence of the Sith upon the world, Cyril Grayson (Darth Mephirium) called to Veiere Arenais for support, the Jedi Knight having become a loyal friend during the last great battle of Mimban under the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order there.
The Attack of the Galactic Alliance proved too great to deter and in an act of desperation, the six Sith Lords conjured a force storm to keep the Alliance at bay while the royal family along with Cyril Grayson and his allies encountered rival force users. In the fight that ensued, Cyril Grayson gave his life for the effort but not before forfeiting all his command codes and power of authority to Veiere so that the Jedi could continue to fight for the peace that Cyril had sought to achieve.
The 501st Legion were commanded then to evacuate all personnel and abandon the war-front, Veiere believing that, following the death of his brother in arms, the continued battle would only result in further death and destruction of the world.
Upon returning to Commenor, his home-world, the confirmation of the madame president's abduction then sparked a whole new conflict and in seeking Commenor's allies out, Veiere reached out to distant friends in the Silver Jedi Order. There the 501st Legion he knew could replenish and recover from the recent conflicts, the Chimaera be seen to necessary repairs while under Veiere's command, seek to establish the whereabouts and the return of Lady Kayhttp://starwarsrp.net/user/8140-lady-kay/http://starwarsrp.net/user/8140-lady-kay/.
Where Veiere Arenais came to conclude that it was not in fact in his best interests, nor the Government of Ession for he to remain in service to the Dominion, the 501st Legion would remain on station to further serve the world, the people who would come to fall under the leadership of Cedric Grayson. By their correspondence, the 501st would continue to fight under the new King while Veiere would relinquish all ties to the military force.
