ok im looking to set up a Seven samurai / Magnificent seven or would Battle Beyond the Stars be more Exact? type thread. any takers?


The farmers of the peaceful planet Akir are threatened by the space tyrant Sador and his army of Pirates , the Malmori. Sador's huge ship carries a weapon called a massive turbo cannon. He threatens to use the cannon unless the planet submits to him when he returns in several days. Zed, the last Akira warrior, is old and nearly blind. He suggests they hire mercenaries to protect the planet. Lacking valuable resources, they can only offer food and shelter in payment. Unable to go himself, Zed offers his ship for the job if they can find a pilot. The ship is fast and well-armed, but despite its Astromech navigation and tactical computer, Nell, cannot defeat Sador alone. Shad, a young woman who has piloted the ship and is well known to Nell, volunteers for the recruiting mission. she leaves to recruite the Jedi or Mandalorians. she finds us

I'm an droid and ship mechanic, I also tinker alot, don't have a ship of my own yet, not even a starfighter, and can cook up some great bantha burgers

[member="Rach Tarvus"] you may want to cut that super weapon, just remember that the admins are the only ones who control the super weapons, the site admins, not the admins of the factions (at least I don't think), you could just say he's a tyrant who rules in a fashion like the Galactic empire sans the turning planets into stars.

I was trying to reuse the Battle beyond the stars plot heck i even kept the names pf planets ect. changed it.

[member="Rach Tarvus"], while TKO is a fun little sandbox, something like this may play better on the main board. Most people here have come due to our current story arch and while those who are fan of beyond the stars will like this idea you many be casting a too shallow of a net here. I would suggest if you really want to get this off the ground you may want to post it under looking for group topic on the main board
