- Force Imbued: The blade was imbued with the Force during the construction process, strengthening the metal to make it harder and more durable than most blades of its kind and less likely to melt, despite being lightweight. In addition, the blades have shown the ability to leach energy when inflicting wounds, draining the energy of those it strikes.
- Force Consciousness: Unlike most blades, these particular two have a strong enough connection to the Force that the person wielding them can almost hear it talking to them, directing them. It can be a distraction or help depending on the person and whether their intentions align with the Force's will.
- Death Whistle: The blades are designed in such a way that when they're swung they whistle. This sound is an irritant, usually, to the combatant, but provides no real harm. It's meant to be a trademark of the blades.
- Dual Blades: Two blades are better than one, right?
- Strength: Strength doesn't mean something has to be big. These swords are strong enough to take on the strongest of weapons.

- Force Consciousness: If the person wielding the blades is acting in accordance with the balance of the Force the blades will help to guide them.
- Speed: Two lightweight blades designed for cutting need to be fast to be effective, right?
- Lack of the Force: When inside perimeters of ysalamiri or other creatures/objects that negatively impact the Force the weapons are nothing more than blades made of ultrachrome. This would include if Ever uses them while wearing her gaiter.
- Strike Limitation: Due to the design of the blades, strikes can only be of the slicing nature, unlike most swords which can also pierce.
- Force Consciousness: If the person wielding the blades is not acting in accordance with the balance of the Force, the blades will actively try to distract them.
Ever forged these blades at the Jedi Temple on Ciomia under the guidance of, and with the assistance of, Duru, her Ithorian Jedi friend. His imbuing of the blades as they were forged by her strengthened them beyond what is traditional for Ultrachrome. Not being a Force wielder in the general sense of the word, Ever was unable to imbue the weapon herself during forging, which was why she required the assistance of a trained Jedi. In the end, the two blades forged from the ultrachrome ingot were both lightweight and strong. They could withstand lightsaber strikes and just about anything else thrown at them. Their ability to leach energy from those it wounds allows her to continue fighting longer than most could. To affect the blade's true potential she must remove her gaiter when wielding them, which also opens her up to mental Force attacks as well.
