The Bryn'adul remnant on Kesh was a formidable force, millions strong. Rather than eradicating them outright, Venn Kolis dreamed of breaking their spirit, converting them to the Sith religion, and unleashing them upon the galaxy, as the embers of the Sith Empire began to stir up the old flame. To that end, Venn would require an inside element. The races of the Bryn'adul were proud and xenophobic, steadfast in their convictions. They would not easily bend their knee to the Asha'Kurat. But though community-driven and fervent, the Bryn'adul were not immune to doubt and heresy.
The Vaydralen of Kesh were the planetary garrison's outsiders. They made their homes in compounds separate from the imposing superstructure; their inability to work Draelvasier songstone tech made them liabilities within its walls. Long had the honorable Vaydralen seen their alliance with the Drael as a mutually beneficial arrangement. Now the power of the Bryn'adul war machine had been broken, and the remnant on Kesh found themselves without offworld support. They were beset by enemies, and alone.
Naturally, they were ripe for conversion.
Rather than giving the Vaydralen of Kesh war, Venn gave them truth. Through ritual combat he opened their eyes to true power, and encouraged them to shrug off the yoke that bound their people to the Draelvasier. Not all the Vaydralen warriors who heard his teachings followed Venn. Those that did would become the Arxadan Guard; the word Arxadan derived from a Drael word roughly meaning "those who turn their backs".

- Description: These Vaydralen, having turned their backs on the fallen Bryn'adul, ply their marksmanship and dueling skills in the service of the Sith Eternal. Honorable warriors with a thirst for glory, they have been conditioned and trained to combat the slaves of Ashla and cronies of destiny wherever they hide- particularly Jedi.

- BR-212 "Jackal" ACR, a modular blaster rifle designed for martial engagement. Uses charric rounds to counter lightsaber-wielding foes.
- Vibrocutlass- allowing the vaydralen to make full use of their love of swordsmanship. These heavy shortswords feature a cortosis weave, and can clash with lightsabers.
- Durasteel plate armor, layered in Duraplast to increase lightsaber resistance.
- Combat Function: The Arxadan Guard fill three primary functions in their service to the Sith Eternal.
- The first is as bodyguards to high-ranking Sith, as a specific countermeasure against murderous crusaders of Ashla.
- Secondly, the Guard stand by to deploy anywhere a Jedi attack is reported against the Sith Eternal, whether that be a peaceful hidden coven or the midst of a pitched battlefield.
- And third, non-force users among the Sith Eternal receive training from the Arxadan Guard in how to defend oneself against a Jedi.

- They'll Do Their Job Well- The Arxadan Guard are a specialized organization formed by Venn Kolis for one purpose: to defend against Jedi.
- Consummate Hunters- Vaydralen work well in groups, and have superb speed and strength.
- Honor Above All- As Vaydralen warriors, the Guard frown on tactics they see as 'underhanded'. What that means varies from guard to guard., but generally they will not take hostages or use living shields unless directed, and civilian casualties will significantly lower their morale.
- Close and Personal- Given their lack of long-range weaponry, the Arxadan Guard will not excel in any engagement that cannot be handled with a standard blaster rifle.
- Keeping it Old School- Like most Vaydralen warriors, the Guard are not all that tech savvy. They have no pilot training or mechanical skill beyond basic maintenance to their own gear. Their time is better spent perfecting combat skills than learning how to repair an astromech's faulty motivator.
