OVERVIEW​

The Avidon Dominion is an aristocratical magocratic hegemony, established in the year 844 ABY from the reorganization of its predecessor state, the Avidon Oligarchy. ​

​

Located in the Avidon System in the Mid Rim of the Main Galactic Disk, the Dominion was until recently surrounded by the Republic and the Mandalorians. Its reorganization is to ensure its survival and future in the wake of the great event that saw billions disappear from the galaxy. Formerly established as a hidden refugee for the Sith at the fall of the Sith Empire, this function has since become obsolete with the emergence of the Empire of the One Sith in the Core Worlds. It has thus reorganized itself and its primary duty to that of bringing Order to a galaxy that has become lost to chaos after countless wars and due to the disappearance of billions. ​

While Sith teachings can be found to have inspired and otherwise guided aspects of the Dominion, it has since begun to drift towards a more neutral standing due to the events that have been taking place across the Galaxy. This shift has also resulted in the emergence of a minor cult dedicated to the belief in the Insidious Force ideal. ​

​

Even though it is dominated by a select few in the Aristocracy, the Dominion is a Hegemony, in which Avidon is the Hegemon of its neighboring worlds. It's focus is on ensuring both the future of Avidon as well as restoring order to the Galaxy. This focus has become more apparent with the rise of rival factions in the Galaxy as well as those whom are taking advantage of the already chaotic nature to expand criminal influence and corruptive influences.​

The Avidonian Dominion is an active, currently minor, faction that is headed by Duchess Magrath, the current reigning Autarch of the Avidonian Dominion. In itself, the Avidonian Dominion is a faction that is focused on ensure its own survival, while also looking towards recent galactic events and deciding to stand up for its own security in an ever increasingly chaotic galaxy filled with conflict, crime, and death. ​

While there are minor ties with the Sith Empire, the Avidonian Dominion is wholly focused upon a neutral stance, preferring to not make enemies. The Duchess has also sought to further this ideal by holding events that are welcoming of all members of the various galactic political entities, attempting to foster diplomatic relations through the guise of celebrations. ​

As the days push on, the Avidonian Dominion is looking to further expand with roleplays, threads and storylines to bring it to the forefront and provide writers a place in which they can bring a character and watch them grow. The faction seeks to provide a blank canvas, and is welcoming of ideas and criticism to help it grow, while also helping each other's characters grow. ​

While this faction has been a work very close to my own heart, I understand that it must be put out into the hands of others if it is to continue growing. Thus I look towards writers and I preset to them a place in which they can feel at home and welcomed. The Avidonian Dominion is a faction that I believe can produce storylines and threads that will bring more creativity, enjoyment and fun to the site. ​

What it needs in order to reach its height is those whom are just as willing to put in hard work, effort and time to see it grow. I welcome all whom are looking for a place for their character, as the Avidonian Dominion has a multitude of openings that would be suiting of a multitude of characters. ​
