Well hello fellow Awoken..

Name's Grudge and I'll be providing the awoken with a series of energy/non-energy based weapons and creations of mass destruction to improve our combat effectiveness and military influence.

These are just the beginning. Also, it would seem I need a 15 posts of dev threads for the sword to get approved. That is where you come in, Awoken! Who would wish to aid me in the development of these fine weapons!? Tired of the straight-arrow nature of light-sabers, looking for innovation!? Prove it here! Join the cause!

Also, for those interested in new weapons, give your suggestions as to what type of weapons I should create in the future. Whether it be hand-helds weapons, or ship-mounted weaponry and so on and so forth. Remember, creativity is advised! Thanks for reading.

Appears we'll need a dev thread of atleast 15 posts since the sword is seen as a light-saber derivative and it has provides bonus damage against droids. Interested in helping me knock it out?

It's a training thread for fire shaping for all of the Awoken that want to learn it. So I think we should make another thread in the private roleplay section for this dev thread.

I don't know if 3 would be too many, but I would be more than happy to help with the dev of the sword.

Also I'd like to request an energy spear to be created to counter the close quarters types using swords.

#3 definitely is what I had in mind. The rest of those are too jagged and not practical. For actual combat making it look interesting means it is less effective. Course I say that and yet the morning star was one of the best weapons you could use in general.

I like #4. Think I'll use that one. Gives the option of dual-bladed spear-use or single spear-head use.

Yeah, but my advise is to make it more solid and just energizes. Otherwise people will call it a light saber variant when it is not.

Mind giving more detail on what you mean by 'energizes'?

Sure wouldn't mind explaining. Throughout the ST universe there have always been certain weapons that could have parts of them energized that allowed them to make contact with a lightsaber without getting cut, can shock people like a stun gun, or just cut through things like a weaker versions of a lightsaber.

A few examples are the staves used by the Imperial royal guards during the Empire era, there are bowstave rifles that the lasat people used, vibro-knvies are similar, and plenty more I am sure.

By definition. What grutt posted is the definition of a Energy Sphere. I feel as if what you guys posted are just regular vibroblades or lightsabre sphears. In my opinion i feel like Grutts original image best represents a 'Energy' weapon rather than plasma or vibro.
