"The Bad Habat - it's a pun, see, 'cause Habat is a pretty common Ithorian name? Like Jones or Darth, but for Ithorians? Oh come on, it's funny."
Jerec acquired this modified Ithorian merchant shuttle during a smuggling run out of Abafar, a planet with white ground and orange sky, in Sith Empire space. The shuttle took some damage from a Sith, but made it offworld in one piece with a cargo of rhydonium fuel. Jerec proclaimed the little ship his lucky charm and promptly set out to sell it.
Between Jerec and its previous owners, the Bad Habat has the following deviations from stock:
- Class 2.5 hyperdrive replaced with something a lot nicer.
- Pervasive smell of rhydonium fuel in the cargo hold, probably not flammable.
- Total sublight engine overhaul.
- White Abafar grit in every crevice.
- Total maneuvering thruster overhaul.
- Various scorches and bits of bare metal where previous owners installed crappy fore-and-aft guns (heavily damaged in the escape from Abafar, and later destroyed).
- Cargo hold blast door features a faded poster of an Ithorian in minimal swimwear. The poster has proven impossible to remove. Jerec probably was not the one who put it up.
