The Banner Saga

Have you ever played The Banner Saga, and if you played it, what're your thoughts about it?

I've loved this game from start to finish, the art style, the soundtrack, the story, the emotional aura... and it's meant to be a trilogy so it makes the story even better and developing. And the second part is coming this winter!

The game is a choose your own adventure game, you decide who you are going to team up with as you continue along from city to city to protect your caravan from the upcoming dangers coming to the world of Vikings and humans, in a Nordic background and musics that'll suck you to the game immediately.

Yet, it was too short, but I always believed in quality instead of quantity. I definitely recommend it!

Oh, I love the Banner Saga!

The turn-based combat was challenging without being unfair, and the choices you make during your exodus can have some serious repercussions later on.

The ending in particular was very emotional and heart wrenching.

While on the short side, I ended up playing through it many times due to the hard choices you're forced to make.

So yes, I highly recommend this game and am looking forward to the sequel! ^_^
