The cops had been... cops, with her, but her brief couple hours in jail had been not unpleasant. She'd sat on her own stewing for a bit before the bail got paid. They basically had no questions for her; she'd been caught red-handed. She didn't say much. Her call had gone to her grandfather, and after an unconvincing stern talking-to, he got her out, after a little wait.

She'd spent that half-day people watching. CSF and the folks coming in, as well as the ones going out. There were a surprising number of thugs stuck together in one cell that were hauled off an hour after she arrived. From their uniforms she recognized them as Haxion Brood -- a bit of a surprise they were here. On Coruscant, not in jail.

Almost all of them seemed to recognize one of the other jail-dwellers and yelled a variety of colorful insults and threats; an hour after the Brood had been moved, the target of their threats was released. Attractive guy, about her age, who gave her one of those smirks that could ruin a girl's life as he passed. A ten minutes later it was her turn.

A criminal returned to the mean streets of Coruscant. The cells in the jail of the Senate Plaza were more comfortable than most apartments on the lower levels. There was nothing to complain about. And there she was, let out into the Plaza.

Her stomach, on cue, rumbled. Just a couple shops down was a grand Huttaburger, that most divine temple of fast food; she decided it'd be a cheat day and walked on down.

"One double Huttaburger and fries. Thanks." She paid, looking into her... sparse wallet as she wondered how best to pay back her grandpa next time she saw him.

Her food came and she started over to find someplace to sit; it was surprisingly packed for a late evening, so she went closer to the window to find a place to sit. The first open seat...

"Hey, weren't you just in...?" She looked at her former jail-mate and gestured over to the station across the street. Something about him itched some familiar part of her brain, but she couldn't quite place him. Still, she laughed. "We had the same idea, huh."
