THE BLACK CHAINS

The Sith were an order that for years had grown stagnant.
They needed something, something to empower them, something to bridge their connection to the Dark Side.
This was what brought the Dark Lord to the caves of Jakku. Where the crystals that were so vibrant in the Force grew as naturally as the greenest grass on Naboo. But the Sith was not here for mystical crystals. No, he was here because his research required a different material. Something far more rare and powerful than the Kyber Crystals of Jakku. He needed blood. The blood of a Sith, freshly flowing through powerful veins. This what brought the Sith to the center of a deep cavern, sitting upon a flat stone in the center of a dark underground oasis. The only light in the cavern was a subtle crimson glow that came from the Kyber Crystals growing from the wall. Each and every one had been corrupted by the ever-expanding presence that Adron pushed into Force. The Dark Side was powerful and at the hands of Darth Malphas it was an impressive tool. He could conjure a dream none could ever awaken from, turn the elements to his will, or in this case...reach out through the galaxy as an ethereal force.
In the Force, the Sith stood out like candles in the dark. So it was a simple matter to reach out and find a single flame.

. One of the first presences that stood out to Malphas. Once he took hold of this essence, he reached out and called to the man, not through speech or words, but through a drawing emotion that would bring the Sithling to this planet, in search of this very cave.
For what seemed like hours, Adron sat in silence, chanting in an ancient dialect of the Sith, channeling the Dark Side through his body to create a conduit for the Sith to follow. Yet, there was little time before the man's presence could be felt drawing closer to the trap that had been set.
Eyes that had been closed for hours now slowly fluttered open. His eyes were a deep shade of crystal amethyst, with a vibrant glow to them. The Sith looked to his young apprentice, the young woman who had been by his side for a considerable time. Her power was growing, yet the Sith Lord wondered. "Are you prepared to face this opponent?" He questioned her. "His power is not to be underestimated, nor is he to be killed. It is an easy task to kill a man, yet a very difficult task to take him alive." He looked to the large room they sat in. Four members of his elite guard stood by silently, their eyes falling upon their King as they stood vigil. "For if you do not capture him, then they will." He assured her.
As the Dark Side of the Force continued to fill the cavern, Adron dipped his hand into the dark, nearly black waters below as if taking hold of something. "He comes...prepare yourself." The man said, before softly closing his eyes once again.
