Quietus
Hunting Again
Name: Sherra
Loyalties: Blackthorne, Harrowbane, by extension the Dreadlady Sable
Role: The five main crew members of the Harrowbane. Though there are many faceless, nameless others, these will be the five to keep the closest contact and relevance to any threads pertaining to the exploits of The Black Hand, The Harrowbane and its Captain.
Development Threads: Hemmer and Anvel
Age: 78
Species: Whiphid
Appearance: Standing at just over 2m tall, Sherra is likely the most visually imposing figure aboard the Harrowbane. She sports a coat of wheaten-tan fur and is nothing special beyond the typical appearance of a whiphid.
Personality: Sherra is a stoic, quiet, introverted type. She doesn't speak much and isn't outwardly social - the type to keep an opinion or advice to herself unless directly asked for it, which is either a product of her culture or simply of her age. To be sure, there's a lot of wisdom rolling around in that head of hers. Her knowledge of the galaxy seems quite expansive, though this is more due to her ability to observe and comprehend; she is also an avid reader. There is a reserved maternal streak to her in the way of taking care of her "clan" - be it medicinal or protective.
Force Sensitivity: NFU
Weapon of Choice: Claws, brute strength, a dagger, spear, blasters.
Skills: Sherra has a working knowledge of natural and herbal medicinal treatments and would be considered the "nurse" of the ship. When someone's injured they get sent to Sherra. She is skilled in hunting and survival by way of cultural necessity.
Wealth: Minimal. Credits hold little value to Sherra.
Combat Function: Sherra prefers to avoid conflict and combat if at all possible. Her approach is survival by whatever means - so if combat is the only option, then hers is a way of direct and efficient kills. As a whiphid she is capable of feats of strength and can take a fair amount of damage before going down. She will act as a shield to her clanmates if in need and do her best to see them to safety.
Notable Possessions: Nothing to note.
History: Sherra's is a story of loss the galaxy has seen a hundred times over. She lived the normal life of a roaming whiphid with her clan until her late 50s when they had the wrong sort of run in with the wrong sort of people. Sherra ended up as a slave and would tell you she had been bought and sold nearly a dozen times before she ended up on Rattatak nearly 20 years later. She was put to the fighting pits where, somehow, she survived long enough to meet and befriend a Rattataki gladiator named Kiin who she helped heal after he received a grievous wound during battle. She mended his wounds to the best of her ability so in return Kiin helped her during battle royales when gladiatorial teams were set upon each other. The pair stuck together - and so when Kiin came to her one evening speaking of their way out of the Cauldron by means of the young woman named Blackthorne, Sherra agreed to follow him and join the crew of the Harrowbane.
Intent: Crew member #2.
