Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
"I have walked across the surface of the sun. I have witnessed events so tiny and so fast, they could hardly be said to have occurred at all."
"I can track a single snowflake across a blizzard on hoth, To see a micro-civilization rise and fall and rise again only to fall on the surface of an atom in the heart of a dying star a thousand thousand light years from our feet. To stare into the space between worlds where the precept lurk, their secret languages something to learn."

The force moved with her hands. SLowly focusing it and allowing the energies of the well to wash over. Hundreds of suns and pulsars... with something the guardians of the whills had said about them. 'The brightest stars have hearts of kyber' It might have been true if any of them had been able to explore but walking on it was the closest they could get or sending a ship with an advanced heat and gravity shield that can last within it. She moved and her hand came out as she focused on the smallest parts of it. The molecules as she used the art of the small quickly. Years of exercises in stacking and assembling them on reflex forming it into her hand while the matter swirled around them. Her breathing hitched for a moment but hands came away with some of the matter swirling around it.

THe systems were working to identify rumors, legends, mystical places of the force. It was how they discovered Millinar, lost to the transitory mists and time, or Tanalorr or the silver strands. Extragalactic routes to other galaxies from jedi fairytales. THey followed up on things... different legends, different reports. From the High Plane they had a different view after all and she breathed forming the matter in her hands between them. Hardening it, assembling it and even being able to color it in while the beginnings of a saber. The matter altering to smooth itself out to a sleek silver design, the grip shifting into an unstable containment that would contour to the grip of the one who took it as their own and bonded with the solarite metal itself. The microcrystals of the saber infused with the lightside.

"Master." THe one jedi arriving and holding a box open as she turned. Levitating it in her hands before placing it. The final touches as the internal mirrors were set for the crystal assembly. The adjustments internally. "It is just the framework, the internal components will still need to be added once it is given to one. Have it prepared with the pieces needed." There were bows when she straightened her outfit. The sarashi shifting as it was covered with the top part of the robes. Her eyes going over the screen appearing thanks to the ships internal Biot brain. "We are arriving." The starlines disappearing as the first sight of Whale-ships greeted them. Most had been destroyed or lost but some had survived... they were massive and had spent who knew how long traveling.

The world they were heading for housed Avalonis, one of the far flung jedi allies but they had found more here... something far more surprising. So when the Altisians had sent them a message from their scouts and exploring. The chance to explore a planet few others in the galaxy would have seen was always welcoming as the jedi master breathed in and out slowly. Centering herself while they settled into orbit of the planet. She went to the hanger bay as the doors opened and cold air rushed in for a moment. The air was thin and cold but she could look out upon the planet and from above the towers around the central citadel was there. Streams and rivers were around it and circled it but didn't connect to it. "Time to go." SHe moved out of the hanger and wrapped the force around herself while she was moving.

The air staying there when she went towards the ocean and mist shrouded island. Like a beacon it was there in the distance looking into the white current. Her interface connecting with drones that were sent out from the ship to scan and feed information backto all of them.

(sorry, I accidentally posted on the wrong account at first))

Max flew low on top of one of the rivers. He flew so low, that the water shot out from under where the engines where pointing. He smiled as he pulled up, and banked sharply to fly over another river. His droid, Q9-U8 said "You done yet? We need to get back to the hangar." Max smiled. "Why would we ever need to do that?"
"I'm bored."

Max smirked and kept flying. Contrary to what his droid thought, Max was having the time of his life. His Chiss Clawcraft flew faster than light speed it seemed, and he loved flying on this obscure planets rivers.

Suddenly, a small object smashed into the side of his ship. Max frowned. and started to slow the ship down. "U8, What was that?" Max asked the droid. "you expect me to know? You where flying way to fast for me to see anything." Max turned the ship around and spotted it. He saw some smoke coming up from behind a rock and he flew towards that spot. "Uh oh..."

Max saw a small drone with a sizable dent in its front. Max swore. "Looks like some idiot was flying their drone to low." Q9-U8 said. "You smashed right into it." Max rubbed his face. this was the last thing he needed right now, he had been so happy. "Can you figure out who's drone this is?" Max asked. "Look up." The droid responded. There was a large ship above them. It looked like only the size of a 1/4 of a toothpick from here. but Max could tell it was huge.

Max brought the craft down, and landed it right next to the drone. "What are you doing?" U8 asked. "Seeing if I can fix it!" Max responded. Sometimes he wondered if it was his "inner jedi" telling him to do these nice things, but he wasn't sure. Max liked to keep his force sensitivity a secret though and would reisit the urge to help people, not wanting to be noticed or sensed by nearby jedi. But, something about this made him feel really bad, so he wanted to check it out. He opened the hatch to his ship, and slung down a rope ladder. He climbed down it, and walked up to the drone, being careful to avoid the field of vision of the cracked camera lens. "Geez, I really hit it good, didn't I?"

The drones were reporting and as she moved the information came from her interface. Something that smacked into one and she stopped where she was. Rising up into the air as she allowed the force to breathe around herself. She stayed there in the air aand her senses were looking. Since they had revealed the strands any number of people were able to venture across the expense to see here and there were chances to grow... it helped them as well since miners, scouts brought information of whaat could be found. THe jedi master seeing where on her map the drone had gone down as she was moving towardfs it to search. GOing over several lakes as she saw vehicles moving down below off to the east as it were... the directions on the world not fully the same but they were at the moment going away from the sun. THe small flight led her to a clawcraft and the jedi grandmaster hovered there for the moment before she was coming down and looked at the boy with a bot of her head. "Welcome, I don't think we have met."

Max looked up, suprised. "Uh, Hi!" He said. He hadn't noticed her come down as he was top focused on the drone. "How did you..." He trailed off, realizing how she got down here. She had a powerful force aurora that Max could sense. Even though he only meditated for like 3 hours a week, he could still sense her. He got nervous, thinking she probably would sense him too, she seemed powerful.

Q9-U8 rolled out from behind the ship. The Q9 series astromech droids dome turned towards her. "When did you get here?" The droid asked, confused. Max ignored the droids question. "Is this your drone?" Max asked. "Its kinda uh... Busted."

"About an hour ago." She said it and looked at him and the drone. "THe drone is one from my ship." She offered a bow of her head taking it in. She could sense him but there was no reason to make that the important thing here. "Peridea has been an interesting place so far. NOt many scouting it just yet." SHe moved and walked partially on the air not entirely touching the ground for long periods of time. Precise practiced movements that let her move around. "ANd it is even more rare to see a chiss craft with a human." Her eyebrow raised a little but more with amusement. "Are you here scouting the world? Or one of the few looking to see the purgill migration?" THe whales were here as well but one person controlling the few survivors would be difficult those needed hundreds of techs to control.

"Im just here to explore." Max said. "I didn't know there where whales here!" Max smiled, glad that it was just a normal conversation. "And about my ship, They dont really use these anymore. Its even a rare sight to the chiss now." He smiled again. "Whats your n-" Before he was cut off by a large starfreighter flying overhead. Its engines so loud that it drowned out his voice. Water from the rivers splashed around them.

The water splashed them, and Max got absolutely soaked. His droid said "What the hell? Do they have any sort of manners?"Why would you ever fly that low?" Max wrung his hands and grunted in annoyance.

She smiled with that... explorers were always good to see and the chiss craft was.... well it was vintage but nothing wrong with that. She had made a habit of vintage looking craft after all. "I am...." She stopped when the ship went overhead. Looking up as it was continuing forward towards one of the clearings. "It is excitement... most of the students who have been with me haven't been to a planet from fairy tales." She did offer a look though. "I am Matsu Ike of the Silver Jedi and we came here to meet with the Children of the Jedi." She said it with a wider grin appearing on her face though while she walked and the jedi master turned floating up into the air. "HOw much of the world were you looking to explore?"

"You should tell them to control their excite-," Max did a shushing motion with his hands and Q9 stopped talking. "Fairy tales?" Max asked. He didn't remember this being a fary tale planet. "What Fairy tale is it in?" He asked. 'Children of Jedi?' Max then thought. 'What are those? Padawans?' He decided not to ask, not wanting to ask too many questions to this mysterious woman. Max watched her float, kind of amazed. He wished he could do that. "I was thinking of exploring as much as I can, as this fighter can go a while with no fuel!" Max said, sounding proud. "I was gonna explore for the whole day, and if I didn't finish the exploration might have bled into tomorrow." Q9 said, "Only if I wanted you remember? You promised." Max raised his eyebrow. "Sure Q9, don't try to swindle me into making me believe things I didn't say like you did in that one shop on Coruscant."
"You should let that go, that was ages ago."
"I can't believe I let my own droid swindle me into an extra expensive oil bath solution!"
"Its your fault for letting it happen!"

Max turned back to Matsu. "Sorry about him."

"In the temples, jedi padawans are told stories about a world strong in the force where dreams become reality." She looked around though while she was there. "And the children of the jedi found it... albeit unknowingly. We only learned about it and them when we discovered the hyperspace routes buried in the ancient archives." He was full of questions while she looked at him and the droid. It was amusing but she looked at the droid more. "It is no worry, an oil bath for a droid is important. The oens I work with have some of the best quality to keep them functional... but for exploring there is plenty one could do here. the local people from reports travel around and the ancient witch kingdom is long since gone though their ruins still remain."

"See? she cares about me." Q9 said. "Who said I didn't care about you- Ok this is pointless. I'm not gonna argue with you." Max frowned "The ruins? I flew over those on my way in," Max looked interested, he thought the ruins were some sort of destroyed city from a war, not some crazy Jedi dream temple. "Is that what you guys are going to check out?" Max said, motioning toward the large ship parked in the distance, barely visible. "The place looked kind of ancient." Q9 said."And last time I checked, I didn't think dreams could come into reality. I'm not sure what you guys would need to find there that would help you bring dreams to life."

"Perhaps but dreams are what can inspire. A lost city, on a world so far flung from the galaxy. It gives perspective to some, fear to others and in some cases like this. INspiration. It is why the jedi study the force to learn its mysteries and here on this world there are some if you know how to listen." She listened though and moved to be next to him. "Dreams to reality has been done, there is a dimension of the force that allows you to form your thoughts into reality. We are just here to investigate and see what we can learn. That Peridea is from a sotry only means that the jedi were here at one point.. that they knew of the world and for good or ill it was lost to time."

Max fell silent. He could tell Matsu was very wise. Much wiser than him. Now, he could really sense her power. "So, you guys are here to learn about the past jedi? You want to learn from them?" Max was interested. "You're trying to learn more about the mysteries of the force..." Max said. He had never really thought about his power, not really. Not in a deep sense like Mastu described things. Now he realized that there was so much diverse history about the force that he never knew about before. His itch to explore those ruins became greater.

"IT is always important to explore the past to inform and shape the future. How else does one not make the same mistakes?" She said it but moved now as he seemed to be getting excited at the prospect of exploring and they would be able to as the area was just one part of the world. "Learnign the mysteries of the force is ever going, as soon as you learn something there is always more to learn." SHe was moving and motioned. "You could come with us, a curious mind is always welcomed among the jedi researchers... even if you are not a part of the order. We don't try and horde knowledge fo the discoveries."

Max smiled. "I would love to go!" He said. "I assume you guys are hiking in though, because there is nowhere to land at the ruins." Max thought about the long hike to the ruins. He thought its was worth it if he was gonna hang out with a bunch of Jedi. "You said there are bunch of padawans there?" Max wondered if he could make friends with the older Padawans or the younger Jedi masters. "Also, I have 2 more droids in storage on this ship, and if im hiking in they need to come too." Max was always paranoid someone would steal his droids, or worse steal his ship with his droids on it. He also jus liked having them around. "I hope all four of us are welcome!" Max said politely.

"Hiking is something that can be done." She looked at how she could aerial walk with the force and raised an eyebrow. "There are also other ways but we can make it there. Plenty of ruins." She moved as her hand came up and she was speaking into the comlink. "We are going to have a guest, the two of us and his friends will join us going to the ruins." There was a confirmation beep while she looked at the boy and bowed. "This way." She said it and moved towards the landing area where the different padawans were standing with Vaata Ver Riya in the center of them. Dusky skinned and long hair as the master approached her.

"Grandmaster." The woman bowed and the padawans followed suit as each of them were getting survival packs on their backs and checking them. Mira Dejah approaching and looking around. "We have a guest coming with us you said?" THe zeltron crossing her arms but she welcomed it. The councilor of first knowledge looking at the grandmaster. "IF they are a local from this world it could be helpful." Matsu looked at her. "It is a boy, this boy Max and his droid." She said it with a bow. "THey came here with the hyperlanes we discovered to explore. Be nice MIra." THe zeltron raised her eyebrow while the other master laughed to herself and the padawans looked at them.

"NOw padawans we will be hiking towards the ruined city. We have seen it from orbit and it is likely part of the witch kingdom so be careful. The Dathomiri had traps and their magics could do a lot."

Max exited his ship with a small bag, his three droids following behind him. Q9 was there, along with a R7 and a R8 droid. “I’m ready!” He said. He looked at the two women that had been talking to Matsu. “What’s up?”

Max listened to Matsu talk to the padawans. He hadn’t realized there were so many. He pulled out a divide and stared mapping out the path to the ruins. “Jeez, it’s like a small army of them…” Q9 said, only loud enough for max and his droids to hear. R8 let out a quiet giggle.

She had to grin a little at the looks but the padawans were welcoming to him and the droids. The two masters bowing as they moved into their positions in the front and back of the group. Drones flying overhead and feeding to their interfaces in little ear pieces the terrain map. "There we go, shouldn't be to bad of a hike and the city is large enough we can divide into smaller groups to explore sections of it." She said it while looking and Dejah led the way with the grandmaster taking the center to escort a few of the younger ones by the hand. Smiles and some were getting into their food but they had plenty just.... "Be carefula nd do not litter we want to leave the ruins clean... as clean as ruins caan be." The trek going up and over for awhile as in the distance she could see it after a couple hours walking. "NOw that is impressive"

Max gasped. It was Ben more beautiful from below. His droids le out beeps of amazement. “You a say that again…” he said to Hatsu. He smiled, and was the first one to enter the city walls. He was closely followed by his droids, and then another femalebpadawn he befriended ran in after him. After she ran in, everybody followed.

Max walked around the buildings, running his fingers alone the stone engravings in the wall. He met up with more Padawans and they ran around the city together.

The massive buildings, the stone work... and the statues were something to see. She could make out much more of it as the padawans were moving but the masters were keeping them within sight. Smaller makie droids moving in swarms assigned to each padawan to keep track and help them out for the trip. THe jedi master checking on some of it as she looked towards the witch statues.... most being weather worn and featureless now. SOme showing they were like the night mothers with their facial markings. Maassive stone buildings that were eroded and smooth.... streets filled with dirt under vaulting bridges that connect different areas of the city. THe main road going through branching off where they could check. Dejah with her small group standing there as she spoke. "There is more grandmaster, there are zeffo markings in areas as well as dathomiri." She nodded and directed it as the crossroads came. The masters taking small groups off to the sides and she continued towaards the central area of the city.
