She brought Adrian's yacht, not her own, lawyers say she got this, as did Tower Vandiir. Neither cared, nor did make her husband’s absence and the space it caused less bearable. Ingrid just wanted AMCO , no one else. She would have sacrificed everything, literally everything, for this, whether for just an hour or that minute, to say once again she loved him, to say goodbye, to see the man’s smirk once again, feel his touch, his scent, the taste of his kisses, to feel his soul.
Her heart and soul were bleeding at the same time, she felt like something had died inside her. She wanted to pull her husband's soul back from the Netherworld at once after gathering and assembling the pieces of his soul. And she wanted to die at once to be there with him. Guilt digested her, Ingrid promised that she would always protect him, that she would always take care of him. She didn't get there on time, she couldn't do it. She was unable to keep her promise.
The Empress wanted to shout, quarrel with someone, blame someone else, but she always found herself a scapegoat, no one else. She was strong enough not to do it, not to see what condition she was in, and not to be able to feel what she was feeling. In that, at least, it was always good to suppress them or show nothing. Soon arrived at the hall where the Dark Lord of the Sith was said to be waiting. She didn't know why the man wanted to see her, even though she had ideas. As she got closer the door was opened in front of her and then as soon as she entered the room it was closed behind her.
”My Lord, did you want to see me?” she asked in her cold, military voice, though this time life was completely missing from her voice.
