Setting Information
Military Base Name – Nar Kreeta Super-Construct
Classification – Military Super-Construct
Location - Nar Kreeta
Affiliation - The Bryn'adul
Population – Heavy (5 Million)
Demographics - 80% Draelvasier | 7% Ungulloi | 5% Vaydralen | 5% Akhenaton | 3% Kraemonen
Accessibility - The Super-Construct is several hundred miles in size. There are three distinct sections of the Construct as well as numerous underground facilities. Security is spread throughout these sections but is especially present in the largest center-most section.
All of the sections are surrounded by titanic walls that span an immense distance and envelop each of the sections completely. The sections are connected by a series of underground maintenance tunnels and by ten underground Ungulloi railway systems that allow the ferrying of soldiers and supplies between the sections.
Notably, the Central Section is large enough to accommodate the landing of and maintenance of a fleet of Bryn’adul warships. As such, any delivery of warriors or supplies to the Construct as a whole is conducted at the Central Section.
Description – A Super-Construct several hundred miles in length and width which serves as the focal point for Bryn’adul dominion on the world of Nar Kreeta. The Construct contains the facilities needed to maintain control of the local solar system and to provide effective exploitation of resources and construction of new war materiel for the Bryn’adul. It is divided into three distinct sections, and contains both above and underground portions.
Points of Interest
Central Command Section
Central Command Center – The ultimate authority on all defensive systems spread throughout the Construct. It is equipped with surveillance systems, and all of the strategic tools necessary for dispatching orders to the various garrisoned units within the system. All defensive systems may be activated or deactivated here, and control may be revoked from the surface command center if it has been compromised.
The Super-Construct Hivemind – Directly beneath the Central Command Center, and hooked into the many systems of the Super-Construct is a truly gargantuan Kraemonen Hivemind. Here, the leaders of the Draelvasier may commune with the massive and autonomous Kraemonen by means of dozens of available inter-linked mindstones. This allows a level of insight and control over the facility that was never truly possible in the past.
Cloning Facilities – Fully functional underground genetics laboratories dedicated to the production of new Draelvasier. There are eight of these facilities within the Central Command Section, each located near the deepest portions of the Section for the sake of protection. Each of these facilities generates roughly six-thousand Draelvasier each day.
Indoctrination Center – Here newly born Draelvasier are brought to be indoctrinated into the Bryn’adul’s way of thinking and life. Flash-training stations deal with the most important matters of language, culture, and warfare, while tests are conducted to guarantee that each and every member of Draelvasier society fits the mold of the Bryn’adul.
Nar Kreeta System Hangar – The home of the garrisoned Nar Kreeta fleet. Conquesters, Debauchers, Butcherers, and the countless gunboats, transports, and strike-craft that they often carry with them are stationed here, and kept ready for operations in nearby offensives by a dedicated crew of Draelvasier Stonesingers and Ungulloi Artificers (Link All This)
Draelvasier Barracks – Home and armory to the myriads of Draelvasier upon the world, these underground chambers have been equipped with basic living facilities and the food production and maintenance necessary to house the millions of Draelvasier residents. These barracks are primarily located beneath the System Hangar in order to allow for rapid deployment of forces. Both Sraelvun Drones and the other Draelvasier sub-races live in these spaces, but are kept separate from one another with the Drones possessing less optimal habitation.
Surface Command Center (SCC) – A functional surface-level construct several stories tall. The height of this facility allows for a view of the area surrounding the Construct, and it has been equipped with strategic tools and security systems meant to give it adequate control over all surface-level operations within this section. In non-combat situations, the SCC tends to serve as the primary command center. The SCC can have its control revoked at any time via the Central Command Center.
Information Center – A surface level facility that holds countless unclassified educational and informational artefacts. These artifacts allow for continued methods of training, understanding of the core tenants of Bryn’adul society, and reports across different worlds of non-critical information which can be shared to the masses as a boost of morale. Akin to a Draelvasier library more than a CIC.
Training Grounds/Sparring Center – A series of surface-level internal fortifications and mock urban structures meant to provide training for Draelvasier warriors before their deployment. While most information is given to warriors via flash training, these grounds allow for soldiers to practice with one another and to test unorthodox tactics.
Rail Stations – Present throughout each of the Sections, these ten underground railways of Ungulloi design and construction allow for the easy and rapid transportation of war-beasts, resources, and soldiers between the various Sections. Each railway train is operated by an Artificer.
Barricas Terraformer – The chief engine of change upon the world of Nar Kreeta, this highly protected subterranean chamber houses the Terraformer whose biological processes have gradually changed the atmosphere around the Construct. The air within the Construct and for several hundred miles in each direction has been converted to Type III atmosphere as a result of the Terraformer with the exception of the hermetically-sealed Eastern Covenant Section.
Western Production Section
Rail Stations – Present throughout each of the Sections, these ten underground railways of Ungulloi design and construction allow for the easy and rapid transportation of war-beasts, resources, and soldiers between the various Sections. Each railway train is operated by an Artificer.
Arms Factory District – The warriors of the Bryn’adul require a great many arms and armors to wage their righteous Crusade. This district of dozens of arms factories creates these tools and ships them out where they can be utilized. All manner of war materiel is forged here on an industrial scale.
Errindak Shipyard – A close-to-surface subterranean growth facility works overtime to produce the mighty Errindak vessels utilized by the Bryn’adul in their conquests. When new Errindaks outgrow the comfort of their holding facilities, the hatches which serve as the facility’s roof will open, and the Errindak’s will be dispatched to the Central System Hangar.
Testing Grounds – Innovation requires experimentation. In this surface-level facility and the immediately surrounding grounds, prototype weapons are tested and pre-existing tools are modified to be more effective. Oddly, the facility easily doubles as a shooting range as a result, though the weapons provided are hand-picked by Aeravalin scientists instead of simply handed out for use.
War-Beast Chambers – These massive subterranean chambers allow for the production of Rhivaks, Brumaks, and all of the other fighting creatures of the Bryn’adul and their subsequent training. The beasts created here are promptly led into habitations for others of their kind, and are kept here until they are required for battle, or for training – those that have not yet been trained are kept separate from those that have been trained.
Shaman Temple – A place of meditation and training for the many Force Sensitives among the Bryn’adul. Located directly above the War-Beast Chambers, Shamans have easy access to their pick of War-beasts for the sake of training for themselves and for their animal companions.
Warlock’s Dome – Located directly beneath the Production Section’s SCC, the Warlock’s Dome is a relatively small series of facilities meant to provide habitation for a handful of Warlocks. More important than these habitations, however, is the presence of a pair of isolation chambers equipped with mind-stones, allowing the Warlock’s to practice their abilities of control and coercion among the denizens of the Production Center. In times of battle, these isolation chambers may enter lockdown, allowing the Warlock to fully focus on the conflict overhead.
Eastern Covenant Section
The Ceiling – Covering over the entirety of the smaller Eastern Covenant Section is a massive defensive ceiling. While being a feat of extreme labor and resources, this does serve two positive purposes: the first involves maintaining a Type II atmosphere within the entirety of the Eastern Section as well as preventing infiltration by enemy transport. The ceiling is roughly shaped and diagonal at points in order to further prevent easy landing.
Vaydralen Barracks – This above-ground series of facilities serve as the habitation and armory centers for members of the Vaydralen race. Here they are able to sate their hunger, rest and relax, and recuperate in preparation for future conflicts, as well as store and maintain their arms and armor.
Ungulloi and Akhenaton Barracks – Both the Ungulloi and Akhenaton are housed in subterranean dormitories. Many of the Akhenaton barracks in particular have been left somewhat free-form, allowing for the race to express their architectural creativity. Food facilities, recreational areas, and storage for personal equipment can be found in droves here.
Air Converter – A large surface-level device of Ungulloi design, the converter transfers the Type III atmosphere of the outdoors and the other Sections into Type II atmosphere for the sake of the many residents of the Covenant Section.
Rail Stations – Present throughout each of the Sections, these ten underground railways of Ungulloi design and construction allow for the easy and rapid transportation of war-beasts, resources, and soldiers between the various Sections. Each railway train is operated by an Artificer.
Cloning Facilities – A series of four fully functional genetic laboratories have been planted deep underground and setup to produce members of the non-Draelvasier races. This allows for a supplement to their natural growth. Each of these facilities churns out thousands of Vaydralen, Ungulloi, Akhenaton, or Kraemonen every day.
Covenant Indoctrination Center – An underground facility dedicated to the continued education and reshaping of members of non-Draelvasier races. Here, flash-training courses are adapted to suit members of these new races, the tenants are drilled into them, and any deviation from the goals and creed of the Bryn’adul is culled.
Security – Maximum
Various War-Beasts and Infantry (Rhivaks, Brumaks, Juggernauts, Artificers, Vandals, Etc)
Twelve Servitor Sentinels scattered throughout the Construct at intervals of at least several miles to maximize coverage and provide ground-to-air firepower.
Thousands of Syphons released into the area whose patrol routes allow them to neutralize electronic technology within many areas of the Construct, and especially its underground portions. There are very seldom any blind spots throughout the Construct where these devices may function unimpeded.
Security Measures
Fealty Scanners
Voul’dakesh Pumps – Intentional stimulation of docile Voul’dakesh can be used to produce tremendous quantities of mildly poisonous (to humans) Sun Quaker ink. This ink is bottled up within a number of subterranean smokestacks located on the walls of the Construct. Use of an SCC or Central Command may cause the release of this ink throughout the skies above the Construct, or if necessary, it may all be siphoned into a single Section. (Approved NPC - Bryn'adûl | Kadesh Sentry | Star Wars RP]}
Draeyde Swarm – Thousands upon thousands of Draeyde await release by an SCC or Central Command directly into a chosen Section. Coupled with the use of Voul’dakesh Pumps, this allows for an exceptionally hostile reaction to any intruders.
System Fleet – A fleet of space-worthy vessels sits within the Central Section, ready to be utilized at any point to provide defense for the Construct’s forces below.
Quilxyn Shield Generators – Three Quilxyn Shield generators located within the SCC’s provide an impenetrable barrier against fast-moving objects and orbital bombardment. Each of these Quilxyn is monitored carefully by the Central Command and the Kraemonen Hivemind in order to guarantee they are kept healthy and secure. The death of a Quilxyn Generator would lower the shielding for its section, but would not affect the other two sections.
Servitor Trenches – Located directly outside of each of the walls are deep trenches created by a number of Servitor worms over several cycles. Located within these abyssal trenches, several Servitor worms and Dredge hibernate, waiting to be stirred to action to defend their home. Notably – none of the tunnels go into the Construct itself.
Quilxyn Rescript – A dozen Rescripts have made the superstructure their home, each of them spread out at a distance of roughly fifty miles from one another, and especially around important surface-level structures. These Rescripts have no purpose other than preventing the use of teleportation in key areas around the superstructure such as the SCC’s and the Servitor Sentinels.
Historical Information:
As with all worlds conquered by the Bryn'adul, it was determined that there should be a super-construct placed upon the captured world of Nar Kreeta, following the invasion of it by Bryn'adul forces against the defending Silver Jedi Concord. After the victory had been completed, all of the various structures and buildings that had made up that world's cities were annihilated, dozed over, and whatever pieces of metal and scrap that could be used recycled to speed along the construction of the world's super-construct.
With the planet being nearer to the borders of the Concord and thus threatened by the possibility of retaliation by that enemy, and with the need for supporting fleets to be present for future campaigns, it was determined that Nar Kreeta should hold a fairly significant fleet presence. As such, the super-construct was designed to serve both as a typical stable holding point for the world and the system and to provide a naval base and docking point for the assorted Errindak fleet-ships that would pass through the area and assist in operations on nearby systems.
Notably, a selection of the new races who had joined the Bryn'adul was also made, and these were allowed to join in both the construction and habitation of the super-construct, with an entire portion of it being set aside so that they could feel welcome. While this has led to some degree of tension - these races did not participate in the conquest, and many Draelvasier feel that it is unfair that they have been given habitation because of it - the environment has overall been fairly productive, with the adopted brethren of the Draelvasier doing their utmost to assist the war efforts of their kin, including the creation of revolutionary rail systems thus far not present in many other super-constructs.
Intent - To provide a defensible location for the upcoming Allegiance SJC v. Bryn’adul invasion and to solidify the nature of the superstructure on Nar Kreeta.
