The waves crashed along the shoreline, crisp white edges flushed onto the sandy shores of Fiolette and Taeli Raaf's island home. On a world so far removed from the galaxy that they could live their lives without ever being noticed. The palm trees' massive leaves rustled as the wind passed them by, it was a warm breeze that crossed through Fiolette's soft blue tunic, her white pants tapered off on the ends. Her feet in the sand and in one hand she held a rock the other measured out the distance, and then she skipped the rock into the ocean waters afar. Fiolette then walked up and down the shoreline her mind was busy, busy with what the world of Galidraan had approached her with.
She wrestled with the revelations laid out by Grandmaster Coren Starchaser.
She wrestled with the notion that this man, and his government. Harbored the man who murdered her son. Fiolette wasn't so certain she could abide this, abide that they would so soon join the Sith, for what? To fight the Brynadul? Were the Silver Jedi so incompetent? Then she recalled Ruusan, Mirial, Ossus, and the countless other battles they had lost and came to her answer; yes. The Sith Empire hadn't yet finished licking their wounds from the beating they were given by the New Imperials, their capital of Bastion lost to them. The home she had built with Taeli there was gone.
Yet she could not completely begrudge the New Imperials.
Imperials for so long served the Sith.
The original Sith Empire, the One Sith, over and over and over they took credit for the victories of the men and women in their armies, their navies, and starfighter corps.
Taeli would be home soon, and Fiolette had left her a note, she wanted to talk.
Taeli would be able to feel and sense Fiolette's conflicted emotions, and the rage that simmered beneath them all.
For the typical non-Force User perhaps the corruption of the darkside would come and would go, it would linger but not be as potent. Fiolette's life however had been prolonged by the dark side, by Sith Alchemy. It was a very real possibility that it now corrupted her and the rage, and the anger she felt as unreal as it felt. Had been caused by both, the bond she shared with her wife, and the effects of the dark side. Fiolette was also sure that her wife would have questions about her visit with the Sovereign Imperator.
In essence, this conversation was long overdue.
