That light at the end of the tunnel leads to Hell
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Captain Rojuh Pouil {"Roger Powell")
Name: Captain Scoht Pouil (Scott Powell)
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Truth is, they are still feeling each other out. However each officer knows another in some way from the past, so they are all connected somehow. The team is gelling quickly because they are not to top each other (okay, maybe Scoht is) but they are and will always work together for the best of the ship and the fleet. Rojuh followed Liram from the Galactic Alliance, where they were a part of Blue Squadron, Rojuh wasn't as vocal about the GA's actions (or inactions) as Liram, but he is from Commenor, so it was a natural move. Schoht is Liram's litt...er... YOUNGER brother and a career "Silver Fleet" jockey, he knows the territory, he knows the protocols, he knows the ins and outs. He also knows Commander Halpern who assured him that his time as a Flight Director will indeed come.
Speaking of Halpern, Scoht is the only one of the staff he knew outside of "The Liberation", having served on multiple vessels in a variety of roles, he is a man who will follow orders, he will question them but he will follow them. Approachable and personable the XO is charismatic, always hosting a Sabbacc game in his quarters the second and fourth weekends of each month (off-shift of course), he doesn't command or demand respect, he gets it easily. His good friend (and brother of deceased Omega Squad operator) Zev Tantor came along for the chance to change his life for the sake of his wife. Liram doesn't know Zev, but he knew his brother Bren and if the two were anything alike, it was a sound investment to bring in the new chief of Security.
Gribbs watched Liram grow up and promised his dad "Jaisus" that he would watch over the younger Angellus should he get his own command. What he had yet to realize that the name "Gribbs" has a history of watching over the Angellus family and if the "old man" bothered to check his family history he would see it. That wasn't really important though as the socially awkward introvert was much the annoying person to deal with, his orders were always sound though and you could bet that he had the best interest of everyone at heart. There was no question about that. His daughter Maryuh is married to Rojuh and Scoht's younger brother Eril.
This isn't one big happy family, they have to get to know each other still, and it will take time to gel, but Liram wanted officers who did their job and while bringing their own style to things, trusted that he could do his.
They do not all know each other implicitly, but they are connected. This is much the basis for them following the Captain's orders. They are now (with the dissolution of the SJDF) have embarked on a new journey in the GADF
When the LIberation was lost over Ossus, Angellus was offered command of the new "Ethereal" and everyone followed him. When he was promoted to Commodore and then Admiral, and given command of a battlegroup, he chose his own staff from the Ethereal and the rest is history.

Line Captain Halpern is the CO of the "Celestial City", while Captain Tantor is CO of "Silver City", Captain Roger Pouil is the CO of the Valhalla. Each have their own escorts. The three carriers and any escorts assigned to them fall under the overall flag of Admiral Liram Angellus. Commander Scott Pouil was promoted to Captain and given the position of Director of Flight Operations for all of the ships, Captain Ewan Isaacs was promoted to Captain as well and given primary control of SCAR teams based on the Valhalla.
- Name: Captain Gym Halpern("Jim Halpern")
- Age: 50
- Species: Human
- Role: Captain for the GADF Carrier "Celestial City"
- Description: Longtime Fleet Officer, Gym is a transfer to "The Liberation" and takes his position as a "mentor" type of role for Liram. He doesn't know the guy personally, but read up on his family history. Quiet and respectful, the guy used to be a Marine so don't tick him off. He since followed Liram to "The Ethereal" and was finally named Captain of the new carrier "Silver City".
- Name: Captain Zev Tantor
- Age: 50
- Species: Human
- Role: Captain of the GADF Carrier "Silver City"
- Description: Former Antarian Ranger and Special Forces Operator, Zev wanted a safer life with respect to his new wife (who is pregnant), he knew Liram through his friendship with Omega Squad and looked for a chance, Liram could not say "no". Not "mouthy" but has no "filter" and if he wants to hurt you, you will know it without question.
Name: Captain Rojuh Pouil {"Roger Powell")
- Age: 48
- Species: Human
- Role: Captain of "The Valhalla"
- Description: Longtime wingmate and a good friend to Liram, they trust each other implicitly and are like brothers. Liram needed someone he could trust for the position of Flight Director and there was no other person he would put in the position. When "Maverick" made the call, "Goose" put in for a transfer. Now Roger has "mostly" hung up his flight helmet and taken over command of the carrier he got his big break on.
Name: Captain Scoht Pouil (Scott Powell)
- Age: 41
- Species: Human
- Role: Flight Director for Nirvana Battlegroup
- Description: Rojuh's younger brother and ever jealous, always feeling like he is in "Goose"'s shadow, "Rooster" was "VOODOO 2" and felt that he was next in line for promotion until Rojuh was called in. He does not feel "betrayed" but is more stubborn to be better than "Roj". Now, free to run things "his way" "Rooster" is now the Flight Director for the entire battlegroup.
- Name: Master Chief Petty Officer Miles Gribbs
- Age: 64
- Species: Human
- Role: NCOIC for Battlegroup
- Description: Gribbs was the deckboss for Liram's father "Jaisus" in the Galactic Alliance. He retired from service two years ago only to enlist with the SJDF when he had heard Liram had gotten his own command. Highly intelligent but socially awkward, the chief is a master in his role and inspires his crew just on his experience. Now, refusing to "just sit on his butt and grow old", the career officer is the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge for the Battlegroup. All of the daily staff answer to him, and if they do not, they listen to him.
