The Children of Talzin were founded by a unified group of Nightbrothers and Nightsisters around 100 years ago. The formed out of necessity at the time, however bonded and formed the clan as a way to create a new way of life for Dathomirians. The Children have since spread across Dathomir's forested areas, and 18 years prior to their shattering, they adopted Curtis Learchin. The boy was raised amongst The Children, however was found by a Sith envoy who forcibly removed him from his adoptive family, killing at least half the clan in the process. Though unknown to Curtis, The Children of Talzin live on, however they have not attempted to contact him in any way.

Below them are: Witches, nightsisters capable of wielding the force, Hunters, nightbrothers responsible for defending the clan, and Keepers, nightbrothers and sisters who cultivate the knowledge and histories of the Dathomirian people.
- Membership: Before being attacked by a Sith envoy, the clan numbered at around 200 members. To become a member, one must either be taken in by The Children of Talzin at a very young age or pass an initiation trial. This trial consists of hunting down and retrieving a rancor tooth. Marriage outside of the clan is forbidden unless the gene pool is threatened.
- Climate: Though hostile to outsiders, with The Children of Talzin members are treated with respect fitting their abilities. A random citizen is treated differently to a Hunter, however none are outright ridiculed or segregated.
- Reputation: Due to their isolationist methods, views on The Children of Talzin are often few and far between, however those who have dealt with them describe them as honourable.
- Curios: The Children of Talzin possess two shrines, one dedicated to The Fanged God and the other to The Winged Goddess. Each member of the clan possesses a necklace representing the clan's insignia, which depicts the two deities intertwined.
