Demographics: The species located within The Citadel vary greatly, as do most populations around the galaxy. The vast majority are Human, though given the nature of the facility, the rest are typically an even spread of other species.
Accessibility: The Citadel is located in the heart of Golbah City, and is quite easy to locate. Some public areas exist around the entrance and main hall, but the vast majority of the Citadel is off-limits, except to members of the Knights Obsidian, or authorized parties.
Description: The Citadel occupies a rather large campus in the midst of Golbah City, with a few buildings entirely separate from the main citadel, but the vast majority of the campus is part of the single main structure. While the exterior clearly invokes designs of ancient days with intricate stone craftsmanship, a layer of metal armor just beneath the stonework makes the structure much harder to breach. The interior ranges in design especially among the four wings that represent the Four Chapters of the Knights Obsidian. Additionally, when viewed from the exterior, a number of turrets and weapon emplacements are visible, allowing the Citadel to defend itself with ease against invasion forces.
The Public Areas
The Grand Hall is the entrance of the Citadel, and the first publicly accessible location within the Citadel. Featuring statues of notable members of the Knights Obsidian down either side of the hall, and a fountain against the far wall, the Grand Hall is intended to be an awe-inspiring sight. From here, passages lead off deeper into the Citadel, through security checkpoints of various degrees, depending on which part of the Citadel one attempts to access.
Attached to the grand hall is a large indoor garden featuring plant life from a wide array of planets, as well as streams and waterfalls. The gardens are filled with small gathering points such as benches and tables, making it an excellent place for meetings, or simple meditation. Additionally, as it is located within the public areas of the Citadel, so tourists are not uncommon.
Knights Obsidian Common Areas
The Lecture Halls are primarily located within the Common Areas of the Citadel, and is the final location that is publicly accessible, though with some restrictions. These classrooms are used to teach concepts that require more book work than physical work, such as general education classes, or exploring the theory of Force powers. The Lecture Halls are open to use by guest lecturers either for the Knights Obsidian's benefit, or lectures hosted for the general population of Golbah City. In these circumstances, security is lessened to allow civilian populations in to attend these lectures. All lecture halls are equipped with state of the art Holographic displays, and allow integration with personal datapads for increased interaction with students.
The Dining hall is the second grandiose hall in the main body of the Citadel, made as a sister hall to the Grand Hall. This hall is located within the section of the Citadel reserved to Knights Obsidian or authorized guests only, and serves as the place in which all Knights Obsidian share their meals. The hall is multi-purpose, shown above with a distinct lack of tables or benches, and can be used for large events in addition to meals. The Transparisteel floor looks down into the grand staircase of the Citadel, leading from the Grand Hall into the Common Areas.
The Training Halls are where the Knights learn the basics of swordplay and Force Use, and hone this skill into a master's art. Featuring state of the art equipment designed to train from the first tentative steps, all the way to refresher courses for the most knowledgeable master. The rooms feature moving panels that can result in a number of configurations and arenas, testing the user's environmental awareness. Each Hall is also equipped with an array of droids and probes designed to test the user's skill with a blade, and provide an opponent during classes. Additionally, Halls are equipped with a number of objects of various designs, sizes, and weights, to aid the student in learning to manipulate items through the Force.
Small, yet comfortable, these rooms are provided to every student within the Knights Obsidian, their home away from home as they study the ways of the Force. The rooms come standard with a bed, bookshelves, a comfortable chair, study desk, and Holoterminal, to serve the basic needs of each student. The rooms can be modified further, however, as students can provide their own furniture or entertainment. Additionally, the rooms can be modified to suit the needs of many different species, ranging from different atmospheric options to standard furniture altered to fit the student's physiology. All in all, the Dorm rooms are designed to be a comfortable place to rest and relax, regardless of species or biological needs.
While many knights have lodging of their own, the Citadel still hosts a number of rooms for Knight-level members, if only as a place to stay while personal lodging is arranged. More roomy and comfortable than the student dorms, the Knight Dorms are intended to feel like home. Complete with an array of furniture, private refresher, holographic entertainment suite, and space to store personal effects and belongings, these rooms ensure that the stalwart defenders of the Confederacy have everything they need to prepare for their next conflict. While Masters of the Knights Obsidian are often expected to have the resources to manage their own housing, they are welcome to stay in the Knight Dorms as needed.
The medbay is an extensive medical suite designed to see to the needs of any individual within the Citadel. While it is fully stocked and functional as a medical facility, the medbay only focuses on stabilizing patients and injuries during the normal day to day operations. Injuries requiring lengthy procedures to fix, or illnesses requiring increased medical attention are referred to the local hospital within Golbah City. In an emergency, however, the Citadel medbay is capable of assuming responsibility of the primary medical facility.
The Citadel features a hanger capable of housing the personal transports of the Knights Obsidian. From snub fighters to Corvettes, the hanger features a wide array of services, including berthing, refueling, repair, and limited refit facilities. Defended by both shields and turrets, the hanger is not as easy an entry point as many individuals might think.
The Archives of the Citadel host the entire sum of the Knights Obsidian knowledge. Much of what is located within is closely guarded by the more archivist-minded Knights, and preserved for their historical value. Most, if not all, of the information within has been digitized to some extent, though the physical copies of older documents are still stored within the archives. Split into sections, the archives have varying levels of access, with some sections being restricted to only the highest echelon of Archival staff, and the Obsidian Lords.

Located beneath the Citadel, this ancient stone structure can be influenced by the Force to venture to a number of locations within the Netherworld. Always kept under constant guard, the Portal is locked away and accessible only to authorized Knights on missions sanctioned by the Master's Council. Owing to the nature of their chapter, the Mandragora are often considered the keepers of the portal, and most ventures through the portal are at their behest.
War Room, located at the topmost spire of the Citadel, house the brains of the entire fortress. Equipped with a state of the art command center, the individuals manning this station will have the ability to coordinate military actions across the galaxy on virtually any scale. When dire times fall upon the Confederacy, this room is the beating heart of the Force Sensitive war machine.
Deep within the heart of the Citadel, the Master's Chambers reside. It is here that the Obsidian Masters meet to discuss the matters of utmost importance. To be allowed within its halls is a great honor. To sit at the table is to be recognized as one of the most powerful and wise Force Users the Confederacy has to offer. Within this sanctum, the very fates of the order are decided.
The School Wings
The Lotus Wing of the Citadel hosts the Lotus Chapter of the Knights Obsidian, studying the Light Side of the Force in all its aspects. While the primary school of the Lotus Chapter is located on the planet of Monestary, the Citadel features a fully functional facility catering to teaching students the ways of the Lotus. Typically inhabited by upper-level students and Knights or Masters of the Lotus Discipline, the Lotus Wing is where education is turned from general basics to the specific applications that the Lotus Chapter employ.
The Thorn Wing is home to the Dark Side disciples. Based on Apatros, the Thorn Chapter studies the ways of the Dark Side in all its forms. The Citadel hosts a fully functional academy for the Thorn followers, where they may instruct higher-level students in their ways. The wing contains all features that the Thorn school needs to properly educate its students in the ways of the Dark Side, providing a home away from Apatros for all Thorn Chapter Knights.
The Acanthus Wing is home to the Chapter focused on the balance of the Force, or other disciplines that move beyond the idea of Light and Dark. Headquartered on Vylmira, the Acanthus teach a wide array of ideals, but are unified in their belief that the Force is far greater than simply a Light side and a Dark Side. As with the other wings, the Acanthus Wing hosts the facilities needed to educate upper level students in the ways of the Acanthus Chapter.
Following the teaching of the Dathomiri Witches, the Mandragora immerse themselves in the mystical and magical side of the Force. Headquartered on Ryloth, the Mandragora engage in a number of rituals, incantations, and other forms of magic as they commune with the Force, rather than the "Powers" utilized by the other chapters. As with the other wings, the Mandragora wing hosts all the facilities required to instruct upper level students in their ways, as well as serving as a home away from Ryloth.

The Citadel itself can be staffed by a variety of soldiers around the exterior, as well as select checkpoints within the interior. Visitors are only permitted within the restricted areas with proper identification and authorization from a member of the Knights Obsidian. While within the perimeter security is relaxed, there are still a vast array of sensors and cameras tracking the movements of any within the Citadel. Additionally, the Citadel is populated by Force Sensitives, most of which are trained in combat.
Since the dawn of the Confederacy, the Knights Obsidian have stood watch over her people, protecting them from threats external and internal. When Geonosis was declared the capital of the Confederacy, work began on the Citadel which would house this noble yet fledgling order. Through time and trial, the Knights Obsidian established a name and identity for themselves, though circumstances often forced them to adapt and change. Today, the Knights have adopted four Chapters, each teaching their own ideals, but all working in unity. And though these chapters established headquarters on planets beyond Geonosis, the Citadel stands strong as the epicenter of the Knights. A symbol of their undying unity in the face of danger and adversity.

This is a Netherworld Rift. You need to either sub the Netherworld Rift or add the appropriate information from the corresponding template.
Your link in Permission covers all the Locke and Key Mechanic items, but this is manufactured by Roble Manufacturing and is Closed Market. Please provide proof of purchase or corresponding ooc permission from the submitter.

There are many different types of battle droids. Please provide links to any Canon/Legends or Chaos models that are used here.
That suffices. For future reference and for anyone else reading this, Codex prefers it when people do not post in others' subs to provide permission. If such things need to be clarified, a screen cap from the OP is best.
This hyperlink leads to a page in the CIS faction forum I do not have permission to access it. I assume it's closed to non-faction members. So we cannot accept it in Codex. Just to link the droid models in use here.
As the forces deployed around the Citadel are fluid and changing, I find it highly unreasonable to be required to list every single possible variant of battle-droid in use for security detail. As such, this detail has been removed from the submission.
Codex rules requires security assets to be listed, as the template says.
So if a base or another location has such a variety of different security measures, the reader (and any potential intruder) needs to have an idea what's there. Any Legends/Canon tech needs to be linked unless it's generic. Likewise, any Chaos Factory stuff needs a hyper link. It's not like the CIS (or any faction/company for that matter) has an infinite number of battle droid models and they would all be there. So there is nothing unreasonable about it.
Regardless, if you want to remove this detail, that's fine.
This just leads to the faction forum, so please just remove the hyperlink. Since there are no subbed units and you're not referencing anything specific from Canon/Legends, you can just put 'Various CIS soldiers' or something similar.
When replying to a member of Codex staff, remember to tag them. Otherwise your reply might be overlooked.
And per the verdict of Codex staff, the link is not suitable since it goes to the faction page. If you do not want to list and link any specific troops etc. that is fine, but you cannot link to the faction forum. So the link must be removed.
