OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The cloak worn by Sor-Jan Xantha circa 860 ABY was the only outward sign of his history as one of the Corellian Jedi. The distinctive emerald color that had come to be associated with the Five Brothers, the cloak was constructed of a Tomuon wool shell that was treated to provide it both water repellent and fire retardant properties. The garment was then paired with a spider silk lining, which imparted the cloak its distinctive anti-blaster properties. The cloak was not only capable of resisting blaster strikes, but the passive bio-electric field produced by the silk actually deflected them. Though the cloak was only capable of providing a limited amount of protection, it could provide a measure of protection against grazing lightsaber strikes. These protective properties could allow the Anzat Jedi time to recover from a surprise attack, as his position at the head of one of the galactic telecommunications companies could make him a target -- particularly as a public figure among Jedi-led companies that could be targeted by Sith policies against such.
- Intent: Create a cloak. Because Ben Craig can't be the only one bringing capes back into style.
