[Matsu Ike]

Location: Dagobah Swamp, Sasori Research Lab

The lab had been constructed here awhile ago, given the dangers that had come from the Harvesters the jedi master had sought to set things up to study what they had left behind. Not much, a ruined facility and a base on the world. There was also the one on the moon and in the center of the lake... Other then that they hadn't gotten to do much with it while she stood on the ship in orbit and looked down. Bringing her padawans and a few other jedi along she trusted or needed the help of.

"We'll head down to the planet soon. I want to make sure you are all ready to begin when we get down there. With the information we got from the Sky Temple there might be more on this world then we originally thought. We have already found a partially submerged temple in the swamps as well as the overgrown remains of the harvesters base from when they were here." She was setting the stage for the things they had or the places but more then that there was just general exploring.

"There is also of course some of the more famous sights you can take in, just be careful and remember to report anything unusual you see. We might be able to pick up on things if we are careful." She had also invited someone she knew had faced the Harvesters and their tricks... In case there was another secret phobis device down there or something worse another strong master would be a welcomed companion to fight with... Also Domino had knowledge of things like the codex... which was invaluable for more dangerous things.

As Specner sat aboard the ship waiting to descend onto the planet he hadn't been to too many places, Corellia and Voss were pretty much it. It was a nice change to get away from Voss even though it was still with its own adventure this was something different. Master Ike had invited him along with a few other Padawans and other Jedi for this expedition. He was excited to see what the planet had to offer and from what Master Ike had said previously about it there was much to find.

As Spencer prepared himself with his lightsaber at his hip and his backpack full of food and water he was ready to head out. As he made his way into the room with all the other Padawans and Jedi he waited and listened to Master Ike's briefing. "Sounds like a good expedition then. Hopefully we can find a huge range of different things." Spencer said looking around the room at the others.

There were always going to be places one explored in the galaxy, this world as the healer sat there on the ship was no exception while her eyes flicked around seeing some of the maps. She had been involved and confronted with the science and force end of the harvesters... she knew how dangerous they had been and what they had brought to the galaxy from the unknown regions of space. That this was one of their primary worlds meant a few things if anything had survived and remained. Instead she was here with her padawan hopefully ready to explore deeper sections of the world and the swamp held some mysterious like the darkside cave or the ruins within the swamp itself.... THankfully as she stood there in the black bodysuit letting her equipment snap into place she was more then ready to trek through the mud and muck to explore and maybe find some remnants of the advanced medical tech that created those monsters and the sickness... Or she'd find what was reported to be some mysterious form of armor.

[Ryn'Dhal]

Ryn'Dhal had genuinely no idea what to expect from this expedition, but he knew one thing. This was an undeveloped world. No super-metropolitan spreads. No concrete jungle. He was going to be out in true, unadulterated nature. He was thrilled.

Shrouded head to toe in black. Slacks, tunic, hooded cloak, and gloves. The only variance in this would be the swords at his hips, and the iconic mask he wore. But, at the prospect of being out in the wilds, he was genuinely contemplating discarding a couple articles of clothing for ease of travel, but caution won out in the end.

Glinting golden eyes flickered from face to face in the room during the briefing. Anytime now they would be touching down planetside. Murmuring to himself, "I wonder what, if anything found down there, would be of benefit to me....?"

"There is always something for a person on dagobah padawan. The planet itself seems to know what you need and gives you a way to handle it." Her attention on it came in the form of one of the maps on her tacpad while looking back out towards the planet. She was looking over more of it while they were heading down before landing. "The lake heree used to house a dangerous research lab for making monsters and the main house they had discovered was destroyed. We were just lucky we were able to find a cure."

Kenna was a child at heart and now being a free woman she couldn't say no to doing something she has always wanted to. As much as she loved Malcolm she wanted to explore the galaxy as well. Something that she never was able to do when she was younger. The opportunity to go to a planet that she had never been to before was not something that she could pass up. Dagobah she heard was nothing more than a swamp but she didn't care Kenna wanted to see it for herself. She would be home soon enough with him.

It was weird being the only non-force user here. The young woman hadn't worked much with them on either side of the spectrum. There was this Sith one time but Kenna had since blocked that out. Jedi though were supposed to be nice, right? It looks like she was about to find out and since she didn't know she was glad for her training as a warrior. Kenna was fully capable of taking care of herself.

Hopefully she could find something she could use on this exploration but if not that was fine. Kenna planned to have a good time either way. Explore a new planet and learn a little about herself on the way. Sighing she shifted slightly in her seat as she waited for the ship to land. She didn't say anything for now just listened.

"That is the plan." There was a look on her face while she was moving and with the ship touching down it provided a great set up. The research team was there in the ruins of the crashed hex star destroyer. Salvaged and picked to the bones by people afterwards but it was still around as they had touched it up and made a base and lab with it still in the swamp partially submerged. Matsu was letting everyone off and her team was there with updated maps of the swamp for them to use and different things they had going into the situation. Turnignt o see Spencer she had a grin on her face. "You'll find a great many things are here and there are still secrets we are uncovering. Sadly this hex was picked clean before we could research it."

 

[Domino]

Not far from the Jedi team disembarking Matsu's ship, a blood-red C-70 Councilor began its own landing in the smashed strip of land left by the destroyer's crash. Domino had elected to take her own transportation to the swampy planet and was busy in the cargo hold as a few of her Lotus Guard ran the landing procedures. For her, this wasn't some field trip to explore an old planet and learn about it while scavenging something neat. This was reliving the past, visiting a battle she'd fought where at least a good portion of the galaxy had hung in the balance. She was here to pay her respects to those lost and ensure that the threat was still just as dead and to kill it with extreme prejudice if it wasn't, anything found after that was just a bonus. Not that she couldn't weigh the odds in their favor of finding that bonus, she thought as her gaze turned to the four racks of probe droids resting in the hold. Each rack held two dozen of the little things save the last, its contents already spread across the moon where Black Sun troops had fought a desperate holding action while clearing the satellite facility there.

Coming to a stop some five-odd meters from the ground, Domino opened the Sangeomancer's cargo hatch and sent the Cyclops droids streaming out of the ship to begin a search pattern stretching fifty miles out. Then she herself leaped from the bay to the soggy ground below. Squelching through the muck to join up with the Jedi, she was glad that she hadn't worn her heavy beskar armor and had elected to wear her Vornsker set instead. Already she'd gotten mud up to her knees from that little jumping stunt, Goddess knew she'd probably have been up to her waist in the heavier suit. "Hey Matsu!" She called out upon spotting the other woman and gave her a friendly wave as she approached.

Matsu looked up when she heard a sound and saw a vornskr first then a familiar shape. A blue twi'lek who was the one person she knew aside from Corvus who was just as knowledge hungry as she was or more so. "Hello Domino." She said it while the doors of the ships cargo bay opened revealing the swamp for them to go to and she looked towards the researchers. "Alright you all have your chance to explore and report in what you find. We have this old hex destroyer for a base you can use. There is plenty of food and not far from here is an old cave strong in the force so be careful. There are other dangerous around here and I suggest the buddy system when it comes to exploring." Finally she looked up at Domino and spoke. "Nice pet." She said it remembering her pet bull rancor from the witches when she had visited them and the baby leviathan they had found but she couldn't just kill a baby.

Lorna had arrived with her fellow jedi and well this was a place to be, the ship from her homeworld had been heading here and gotten lost or crashed with the Netherworld opening. Now she was here to try and find it while her attention was going to the different one who had come along and she waved a little. Standing there with her golden hilted saber on her hip, utility belt at the ready and she was moving towards the swamps to explore searching for a ship. She was looking at the ones there and a face of someone she didn't know while she spoke. "So ah who are you? I am Lorna."

As the ship landed just above the surface and the ramp lowered Master Ike was quick off the ship seeing what looked like an old friend off in the distance. A blue Twi`lek, a species Spencer had never ran into before. He had seen some species similar with the same headtails. But it was still something different. As Spencer himself began to leave the ship he looked around at the gloomy wet swamps in front of him. Listening to Master Ike Spencer noded and began heading towards the old hex destroyer, it wouldn't only serve as base but Spencer would also want to have a look inside for himself. After that he though he might adventure out into the Facility ruins nearby. With the understanding that this was still a dangerous place he waited in the base for anyone who came inside to prepare for the journey with a quick bite to eat and a small drink. Hopefully one of them would also be interesting in going to the facility.

 

[Ryn'Dhal]

Ryn'Dhal could hardly contain himself. In a burst of movement, his natural agility propelling him a surprising distance to perch upon a tree-knee rising from the swamp, he scanned the area, golden eyes dancing merrily behind those thin slits in his mask.

His gaze fell upon the girl as she spoke. To him? He cocked his head slightly, looking either slightly comical, or slightly unnerving, with that mask. A gloved hand gestured to himself as he spoke to [member="Lorna Halcyon"] . "Me? If it is I to whom you speak, I am Ryn'Dhal. Lady Lorna, you may call me Ryn if you so desire." He said giving a deep bow, while maintaining perfect balance on that terribly precarious perch. The motion shifted his cloak enough to reveal that he was likely the only Force user with only conventional melee weapons, his custom Long-Knives strapped to his hip.

She was watching her padawan as the boy lept up and her eyebrow raised under the mask heading out towards the swamp while she had the lightwhip on her hip and the vine like saber. The blade of her masters masters master in line with what she was doing going ahead with the feeling of the mud as her boots sank in. She looked at the swamps ad the water while she was going in went to her knees with a light activating while she set it on her wrist and was walking in deeper following the different vegetation that had been broken and bent down from a crashing ship. The researchers here had been doing their work for scouting the world as she let drones go up.

Dagobah, a planet seeped in mystery and legend. Memories are alive on the planet, and tend to manifest themselves in the oddest of ways.

The planet itself had been graced with the presence of two legendary masters of the Jedi Order; Luke Skywalker and Yoda. It was here that both Yoda and Luke faced their greatest fears and doubts, and overcame them to become the Jedi that they were; powerful symbols of Light and Good. That was why Coryn had followed the other members of the SSC to the planet, he had plans to enter the Darkside Cave, to face his fears and doubts, and to come out on top.

Even now, as he navigated the mist shrouded pathways towards the greatest concentration of evil and darkness on the planet, he could hear the whispers that plagued him on Midvinter. The malevolent intent of the dark side to weed its way into his mind and to twist his nature into its conduit, to become one of the many Sith; and he would not become one. So, he sought out the cave of evil, in the hopes that he would face his greatest fears and doubts and emerge a new being - one with complete confidence and trust in the Light Side, a conduit for Good.

As he stepped lightly through the swamps, keeping to the overgrown paths, allowing the Force to guide him to the cave, he could faintly sense the presence of the other members of the SSC on the planet. Their presence gave him the strength to continue on towards the intense shroud of darkness that was continually growing in the recesses of his mind. The nearer he got to the cave, the stronger the voices seemed to become, and the more powerful their words seemed to be.

"Yes. Yes, come to us Coryn Raxis." as if the dark side knew he was coming near the cave, the whispers echoed in his mind, each syllable filled with unnatural malevolence and sinister intent, "Let us show you the true power of the Dark Side."

 

[Kenna Raine]

Kenna found herself groaning at the thought of the buddy system. It wasn't that she didn't like people, it was just for once her her life she wanted to be alone. Also she didn't exactly trust any of these Force Users as of yet and picking one to go exploring with didn't sound too appealing to her. Her partner was not on this expedition with her and as such Kenna felt the safest going alone. She didn't need to be followed by one of them, she was just fine.

Out of the locations listed Kenna thought that exploring the Harvester Facility Ruins sounded very interesting. Her eyes scanned the group with a sigh as she wondered if she ought to tell the group where she was going. Deciding against it Kenna turned on her heels and began walking away. Kenna would do her investigating and go from there. Reporting to the group if she found something worth noting.

Cathbodua continued forward into the swamp more and more as she was looking at some of the creatures moving about. Her attentin on the different ones who had been in the ship with them. Attention on the swamp as well before she brought up a light and looked over some of the trees that had broken from the crashed ships that had been pulled down by the harvesters. That had her going when she saw a fallen ship that had been destroyed with wreckage all around as she was moving up towards the ruined cargo bay.

As Spencer had his quite bite to eat and a small drink hoping for someone to walk through the door. Unfortunately he would have to go it alone, but no matter it would just be a little quieter than normal. The thoughts and words that Spencer would of ended up saying would just rattle around in his head for the duration of the trip. As he collected his things and headed out for the facility he thought about what he could find, both good and bad. It was going to be an adventure. But first, he had to make his way through this dense swamp that riddle the planet.

Lorna was moving, in the swamp now she was looking at them and seeing Ryn she bowed when he spoke to her. "Hi." She moved when the one girl was going off alone and walking by herself while she was letting her attention go towards the large swampy planet. "Hey wait up." She said it while moving and tripping a little showing her skills in the force weren't with navigation before she rubbed her head and the teenager stood up with the green cloak around her shoulders and the blue outfit.

Masked face tilting slightly as the girl scampered on, Ryn was confused, but largely indifferent. He turned and leapt from her perch on the root-knee. A few quick hops and springs found Ryn perched on a branch over his Master's head. "Master, what would you recommend me do now?"

His eyes danced about, watching the two girls, [member="Lorna Halcyon"] and [member="Kenna Raine"] respectively, and then glancing over to [member="Spencer Olin"] as he exited the ship. "It is my first time in such an environment, I am unsure of what my objective is."

He is always one to serve, but his purpose here eluded him. He watched Master [member="Cathbodua"] expectantly, awaiting direction. Was his mission his own to determine, or was there an objective she was going to give to him?

As she was moving and leading her padawan the jedi knight turned while she was looking around in the swamp. the crashed ship near them while her voice came out. "Be careful, the harvesters brought down several of the larger ships." Her attention was on it while she was moving throughout the area with her hands grabbing at a piece of scrap before she rose up looking things over. "I'll head inside and check, look out for some of the creatures here."
