HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Considered to be one of the greatest artifacts ever crafted by the ancient Je’daii Order, The Codex of Tython is a repository not only for their Philosophies & Teachings, but also a wealth of knowledge for technological advancements spanning thousands of years. Once fractured with its pieces scattered across the Galaxy, The Codex was restored many years ago and returned to the Jedi Homeworld of Tython by a wise & skilled Jedi Knight whose name has been lost to history. It has since laid in wait, rumored to have been hidden in one of the 9 great Je’daii Temples that dot the planet’s surface.

Contained within are not only records of Tython’s flora, fauna, and geography, but also information on numerous areas of study related to the Jedi Way - including design schematics for numerous types of lightsabers (including the original Proto-saber), an extensive list of crystals once & still in-use by the Jedi, architectural schematics, and historical accounts of numerous wars which would make it equally valued by any scholar, collector, and/or student of the Art of Conflict.

Upon successful activation of The Codex by a sufficiently skilled Force User, the Holocron’s Guardian will make itself known: The Forgemaster & Jedi Craftsman known as Tem Madog awaits within, prepared to question any potential student of the Je’daii Way before providing access to the artifact’s secrets. Madog (who once served as The Je’daii Order’s Temple Master at Vur Tepe; also known as “The Forge”), guards the entire collection of historical knowledge behind a strict adherence to the Je’daii Philosophy of Balance.
