Grand Admiral, First Order Central Command
Well as some of you may have notice din this thread, I'm attempting to get a string of interconnected military-campaign style dominions going with a dedicated PC and NPC opposition. In this case, it's the Free Systems Alliance and Republic Holdouts in the norther Colonies region.
The overall objective, of course, is the total conquest of the whole region formally occupied by the Republic. Given that the Mando's are about to take Alderaan, we're gonna start on the other side, so as not to forment conflict with them. Specifically Borleias.
I'm going to avoid having dedicated objectives (unless people really want them) and instead give a general direction for each thread and let people do what they will. I hope to have a first post up in a day or two, pending admin approval on all this.
Not a military minded character? Great, there's lots more going on in a war than just picking up a gun and shooting it. I intend to make it so people can exercise skills and talents their characters have that aren't war or combat related, but are still extremely useful in a war. This first dominion especially is focused in that direction. More details to follow.
Working concept of operations.
PHASE I OBJECTIVES:
Situation: For the moment, the Sith and the FSC are not formally at war. Given both the Sith's rather clear cut intentions on occupying the coreward Colonies region, and the FSC's ties to the Republic, it's safe to say that war is inevitable. FLEETCOM HQ is planning for a full-scale offensive into the Colonies region, with the key objectives being the planets of Kiribi, Carida, and Arkania.
While the full offensive will require the support and backing of the Dark Council, Battleforce Iron Lance has jumped into Borleias with the intention to use it as a staging point to launch the offensive. Resistance is expected to be light and disordered, and both active and passive in form. A standing call for assistance has gone out to across the One Sith Datalink, requesting the support of any independent units and organizations while the Dark Council deliberates.

Pacify Borleias:
While Battleforce Iron Lance is mostly unconcerned with the actual occupation and takeover of the planet, it remains necessary to ensure that Borleias will not cause problems when the offensive moves forward. Limited resistance is expected in all theaters, and individual group commanders have full authority to use whatever methods necessary to ensure that when the fleet is ready to move on Borleias will fall in line.
Prepare for War:
Short-term infrastructure building. This can be a takeover of a pre-existing military station, or fabrication of a supply depot on the planets surface. Expect resistance forces to be involved, violent or otherwise.
Acquire Intelligence:
The so called 'Free Systems Coalition' that has laid claim area immediately surrounding Kiribi and Carida is an unknown factor for OSI and the One Sith in general. It is known they have Republic support, but to what degree, and whether it's official or not is unknown. Intelligence is needed, and Imperial Agents, Sith, enterprising mercenaries and other independent operators are encouraged to utilize the chaos resulting from the occupation of Borleias as an opportunity to do some digging.
