The Construction of a Lightsaber

"Hello [member="Jairdain"], I am William Harris I. I was told you could assist me in an exhibition I'm going on to control my power and craft my own saber. I need help, and I believe you can be the one to assist. You obviously have a lot of experience in working with force users. So I hope this is no problem for you."
Harris reached out his hand to shake the one of the woman on the ramp to his ship, still uneasy. He smiled and assured her that he needed nothing but someone to guide him through this time of learning. She shook his hand and entered the transport vessel before being shown to her seat. Harris looked up to the pilots as the ship lifted off the ground and began speeding towards the sky.
"Punch it."
The main pilot pushed a bar forward and the ship blasted into hyperspace towards Illum, and they were gone in a flash

"Pleasure to meet you."

Being the leader of the Imperial Knights for the Fel Empire, Jairdain was aware of who Harris was. However, they had very little contact prior to today and had only met in passing before. Never one on one or face to face.

Rumor had it, he could use the Force and it was now a fact. He admitted he could use it and needed help with construction of his lightsaber. This would now make it at least her fourth time travelling to Ilum. She just hoped it wouldn't be a trial for her as well this time.

Shaking the hand he held out, it would be clear she was blind as her eyes were clear, but not focused. That focus would be felt through the Force though. He appeared uneasy though and Jairdain wondered why.

Following him on board, she took the seat offered and made herself comfortable.

"Are you aware you will be tested by the caves of Ilum for your crystal correct?"

It wasn't going to be one she could prepare him for, but he should know about it before they got there.

"I wasn't aware that I'd be tested, but I belive myself to be ready. My knowledge it still little, but I will do whatever necessary to succeed."
Harris turned towards the blind woman and smiled, then looked back out the window of the ship. He lost himself in the dancing blue rays of hyperspace, bouncing and rippling beside the ship. "Almost there," yelled the head Guardsman as the ship began to buckle and creak.
When the ship finally slowed out of hyperspace, Harris' eyes shot towards the planet suspended in the darkness below. His eyes scanned the snowy surface below, he was about ready to get down, he looked up to the Guardman.
"Bring us down. Gently please."
The troopers in their grey and gold armor nodded their heads beneath their cloaks and began pulling the ship towards the planet. As the ship descended on Ilum Harris looked at [member="Jairdain"] and began,
"What kind of tests must one face in order to find their saber crystal? Will the tests be daunting, or easy to overcome?"
The ship shook as he sat waiting for a response.

The woman couldn't help but have a bit of a smile and chuckle at what Harris said about not being aware of a trial before gaining his crystal. After a brief silence, he did ask what kind of test he would face and Jairdain really had to think on how to answer it.

"You're going to be facing this alone as the test is meant for you. Any time you come to Ilum, a new test will manifest. It is different for each person and each time. Myself, I've done this twice for myself and I have come here with others to assist them. However, the testing is done by yourself and I can't help with it."

Both tests she had faced would have proved fatal if she failed them.
