Intent: To create a weapon Noah could pass on to his children,if he ever has any.
Development Thread:
Manufacturer: Ansil Corek (Noah's Ancestor
Model: N/A
Affiliation: The Corek Family
Modularity: No
Production: Unique
Material: Duraplast
Description: Built by Ansil Corek,a Republic Commando during the Mandalorian Wars,to give him a weapon to help him better combat the heavy the Mandalorians wore. After the war the weapon was passed down to Ansil's son,Kilad Corek, and he used it to fight the Sith Army during the Jedi Civil War. After this the weapon was passed from Kilad to his oldest son and so on and so on until it came to the hands of Noah's father,Flint Corek. The weapon was lost on a mission when Noah was battling pirates and he was shamed for this due to the Corek Family's strict code of Honor and Ethics. While this weapon may be heavy and long, its stopping power can cut through most modern armor and keep on going do to its original purpose. This weapon is great for mid-long range combat due to its stopping power and range but it falls short with its CQC skills.
Classification: Blaster Rifle
Size: Handheld
Status: Illegal (Due to the multiple mods that have been made to it over the 4 millennium that its been in the Corek family)
Length: 137.2 Centimeters
Weight: 3.7 Kilograms
Ammunition Type: Power Cell
Ammunition Capacity: 75 Blaster Bolts
Effective Range: 450 Meters

@[member="Noah Corek"] While I have no problem with the specs of this weapon, I find it very slightly implausible that a weapon could survive this long, let alone still be useable.

After all, how many Old Kingdom Egyptian bows are people using today? Even taking into account technological stagnation in this galaxy, it'd be like fighting today with an M1 Garand. Sure it'd work...but really you could get a better weapon anywhere.

Your thoughts?

Tegs,I don't plan on using this weapon very often. This is more of a back-up and/or symbolic weapon that is passed down from father to the oldest son.
