The Cosmos: Look At What We Are.

I want to talk about something controversial, I may get looked down upon for this. I may look like I'm whining. I may look like I am a fool. Hell I may be a fool, but I'm going to say it so everyone can see it. I hate the republic, I hate them with every fiber of my muse. I want to see them burn, I want to see the Jedi and everything they stand for be destroyed. But not like this, never like this. They deserve better than this, they deserve to be destroyed in a proper story. With proper development! I'm calling staff out, I'm calling them out on just how wrong all of this is. You can turn me into a poodle and put rainbows in my sig I don't care as long as people read this. So I'm going to tell you all a story, and as with every story we will start at the beginning.

The fall of the sith empire. You have to say one thing about Kaine, he's dedicated. He dismantled his own empire and played so many people all while maintaining a positive figure. He just smiled and waved as everything was torn to the ground. It was beautiful to watch, after the fall of the sith empire slowly one by one every little sith faction began to pop up on the radar. The Sith Council, The New Order, and The One Sith. Going major first the sith council was quickly destroyed by ooc matters and it was saddening to see the loss of their leader. Then the New Order reformed from the ashes of the old sith empire faction and became a promising major faction. All while the one sith sat in the darkness biding their time and waiting. But in that waiting I noticed something, I didn't see them do much of anything really. I think I saw them get Into a skirmish once but I'm not entirely sure. But other than that it was pretty dark. So let's move to current history to what matters.

The One Sith going major and the invasion of coruscant. When I first saw this I jumped for joy. The republic finally getting what they deserve! But after taking a step back and talking to a few people I realized something. That this wasn't what it appeared to be. The One sith goes major and on the first day they get six starting planets. Not three but six. And here's one of the best parts. The New Order, they got a Capitol ship or a star destroyer denied by Ayden. Because they didn't have a 60 post development thread for shipyards. But somehow the one sith have hundreds of 1500+ Meter ships just out of nowhere. From thin air this fleet arises and invades the most defended planet in the heart of the republic. A jedi council member just happens to turn to the dark side. Can you honestly tell me that the one sith is not backed by staff? Can you tell me that any of this is fair? The republic has done so many things they need to burn for, but this isn't it. I can only give you what I think is going on, and I think that Staff members want this invasion to go a certain way. You can call me an idiot you can call me whatever you like. But coincidences add up. And I think that One Sith will rule as the next biggest sith faction because any other faction that would try this would get curb stomped into the ground. I know it's just a game, it's just fiction. But at least be fair about it. This article won't change a damn thing, but all of you can change things if you put your minds to it. This is Aaron reminding you to have fun, and above all

Not so long ago it was popular to say that the Republic was being backed by staff and that there was an evil staff conspiracy to paint the entire map blue. Funny how things change.

Please, the one and only true staff faction are the True Bluehawks!

It seems every day you have a new injustice to fight. A new example of 'staff power' which must be resisted. You truly are a rebel without a pause.

The Bluehawks will always be the staff faction. Since they're not here, there is no such thing as a staff faction, just factions who work hard and get rewards.

I will comment on the invasion though. That was a decision made by both factions. Both. Not one, or the other, both. They wanted it that way. I think it is foolish, silly even, but they wanted it so. So no, the One Sith have not acquired a fleet because they've not submitted or used them yet.

As a roleplaying friend of his for the past few years, he's just cool like that. Except for one certain rare moment we won't discuss. I digress, he's willing to do almost anything to keep people guessing "What's he gon' do next? >_<"

I could but I'd be lying. That's just usually how things go 'round here, bud. One staff member starts something/joins something, the rest follow. And any who disagree with the new Staff fad are expendable by their godlike characters instead of starting new.

The staff faction is whichever faction has admins in it, that's been obvious for a long time now. When almost every single member of staff had a Jedi, the Jedi were going around destroying factions at whim. Now staff has moved, and so the power in the Galaxy has moved. I won't comment on the One Sith/Republic thing as I just got back, but any faction with an admin among its leaders has always had an advantage over others. Or even just a faction that staff were a part of and are partial to.

But I suppose the only way this won't happen is if every member of staff stops RPing completely, and takes absolutely no part in the RPing process. Which defeats the purpose of the board in a way.

Q: Is there an agenda by Administration to keep the Republic Faction afloat?
A: Yep.

It's common knowledge that any Republic Faction Owner is directly accountable to Administration. There used to be a day when Faction Admins were in charge of running a faction. Sing or swim, it was all on you to make stuff happen. If it died, it died. No harm done. People moved on and something new was born. It was nature. It was organic and real. It was awesome.

However today, the Republic faction is immune to this process. Instead, Administration now calls it a 'Community Owned Faction'. Property of the State. Indeed, at a whim, Administration just replaces the owner, paints the walls with new icons, and then calls for the members to vote and just start fixing stuff. In America we call this a 'Bail Out'. We say the Republic faction is "Too Canon to Fail".

Somewhere along the line Administration got attached to the Republic Faction. And they just won't let it go. No matter how hard it sucks, how many people leave, how many new members get hazed, or how many Jedi Grandmasters think they own the place. The Republic Faction will never die.

Tef won't let it go.

You want a Staff-backed Faction Dredge? It's right there. And Staff is always ready to swoop in and "save it". :D :p

I should clarify.

Staff-backed Factions are not a bad thing.

Recently Republic Faction Owner Carn Dista got replaced by Popo via Administrative action, sighting a request from Faction Admin Ben Watts. This is not a morally reprehensible thing nor should it be looked down upon. Popo, Ben, and Kiskla deserve our support and our love in helping to recreate a fun and inclusive Major Faction. I wish them, and every single Republic Faction member, good luck in their endeavors. Should be a ton of fun to see what they come up with.

Every time a Faction Owner is deemed unsuited for his office and is replaced by a vocal call from his community? This is not injustice. It's a democracy. Lol. :D

Cheers.
