The Countdown Has Begun

We have made it official! Thanks to the help of several members, who will be @mentioned, we will be hosting the Chaos Podcast tomorrow night at 9:30 EST. It will be streamed via YouTube until 10:30 EST and will feature several topics regarding the IC state of Star Wars RP Chaos!

You don't use EST? Don't worry. The calculated times are here: 8:30 Central, 6:30 PST, and for those who aren't able to view it live, or are in the Euro timezone, the podcast will be uploaded to the channel after it is aired.

During the podcast, you can Tweet any questions or comments you have @SWChaos_Podcast using #Live. Mitch Anders is the account name, and is the alias that we are using because NSA Problems (paranoids). We ask that if you Tweet at us, that you include your writer's account name so we know exactly who you are.

We only have one request for all you: we urge you to view this first episode. It is something we very much want to make popular with the site. Our main goal is to connect the community more and this podcast is the idea we are using for that very concept.

Very good idea - but does this alienate the UK/European/Eastern side who won't be around in the early hours for the stream, or will it pre-recorded in future for participation at times a little easier to stay awake for?

Hope it all goes well! Social Media a platform I reckon SWRP needs a "reboot" and could prosper well in. Good luck to you, and all who are involved.

Maybe what could be done is for them to start accepting questions PRIOR to the Podcast as well as during? That way people from the UK/EURO can listen in to the recorded version on Youtube and still have their questions be mentioned? Just an idea!

Is there another place you can ask questions besides tweeting? For us non-Twitter users?

Yes indeed. We will have a thread here in the "General Discussion" forum where you can post questions. Obviously we may not get to them as fast as other questions, however we will touch on them as we can.

Questions will be the focus of the last segment of the show, which focus on general site discussion, so if we don't answer questions right as you post them, that would be why. Each week will be a different hashtag and will have your questions focused on a certain topic. So if you are Twitter, this week, you would use #Invasion, since we will be discussing the closing of the "Welcome to the Jungle" invasion. For posting questions on the board, here in the General Discussion thread we post, you will simply post a question regarding the "Welcome to the Jungle" invasion or invasions in general.

Furthermore, we may not answer every single question that's posted, however we will attempt to do so.

This will be explained better when the thread is posted tonight, about ten minutes before the actual broadcast.
