- Jedi Shadows: At any given time there are, on average, ten Jedi Shadows on the Gnost Dural seeing to the day-to-day business of the Jedi Shadows. These Jedi rotate in from clandestine missions abroad for some much needed R&R while others are rotation out on their various assignments. Additionally, these Jedi Shadows are the instructors to any younglings or padawans who visit the academy to learn the various specializations of the Shadows. These Jedi use the Gnost Dural as a staging area for their various missions and consider it their home away from home. Notable figures: Jedi Knight Qual, Jedi Researcher Pra'ct, and Jedi Padawan Soli Baris.
- Security Personnel: Two-hundred and fifty hand picked soldiers/intelligence agents make up the bulk of the security forces on the Gnost Dural. These men are soldiers who were hand picked for their combat abilities but especially for their ability to handle security concerns. These men keep secrets above all other things and spend their day-to-day ensuring that nothing comes onto the Gnost Dural or leaves the Gnost Dural that isn’t suppose to. The force is made up equally of experienced soldiers as well as veterans of planetary security forces. As much emphasis is put on investigative abilities as on combat. Half of this security force is dedicated to defending from infiltration and fighting off attempts at infiltration while the other half is tied into various tasks (e.g., slicers who defend against hacking, engineers who develop better and better security equipment).
- Security Droids: The 100 security droids that are stationed at the Gnost Dural are focused more on the safety of the crew than on keeping secrets and are typically only deployed during emergency situations. They are utilized in times of danger to expel attackers or isolate infiltrators that may get past the typical security personnel. It is a testament to the skill of the security personnel that these droids are rarely if ever used. The YVH-2 droids are heavy hitting droids designed originally to fight off Yuuzhan Vong warriors. Those used aboard the Gnost Dural come in two variants. The majority of the force are your typical YVH-2 droids, dedicated to combat while a small number (10) are infiltration YVH-2 droids and are designed to look like typical maintenance/protocol droids and monitor things aboard the ship silently and incognito. The other half of the security droids on board the Gnost Dural are the EMBU Droids. These are meant to provide more protection against Sith Infiltrators.
- Miscellaneous Crew: These four-hundred men, women, and droids are the heart of the Gnost Dural. They make up the maintenance crews, medical staff, technicians, janitors, and various other positions that keep the ship functioning on a day-to-day basis. Without these individuals the ship would cease to function. They are well paid compared to many military crews such as this and are monitored on a near constant basis for security leaks.
- Officers: These are the highest ranking officers on the ship. They are men and women who were at the top of their classes in their fields. Many came from backgrounds in intelligence work, military tactics, counter-espionage, and planetary defense forces. The officer corp is divided by rank but also by division (e.g., counter-intelligence, engineering, security). All report to the Admiral of the Vessel who in return reports directly to the Supreme Commander. Due to the restrictions of the Jedi from service in the military, the officers do not report to the Jedi but rather work alongside them and vice versa.
