Created by an individual only known as Despair, This man started the sales of black markets, and brought them together. Creating one giant hub for any sales of anything in the galaxy to be sold, traded or purchased for anyone who was willing to pay. Starting from a simple sale of four twi'lek slaves, he moved on to use the credits, and trading of sales to make his own network.
It is unsure if Despair is a male or a female, as there are accounts of a Zabrak woman, Two human males, A Twi'lek female and male, or even an Epicanthix all claiming to be this mysterious person. No one is sure who he really is. Absent within the force, or simply hiding it, no one is sure. However one thing is very certain. He runs this organization of Criminals, Exiles, Outlaws, and all walks of life are welcome to join. However, he does not promise you will live to see morning.
Taking a hold of various weapons from various companies, governments, or even items that are labeled as being "illegal" or "unethical," Due to what is on the table. Willing to sell people, slaves, weapons, or anything else that comes his way.
However, there are benefits with the company. Any who aid him, or any who he pays to work for him, will be given a VIP status and get claim to gear, or anything else that is taken first. As this is his way of paying people. Giving them first dibs on anything they wish. However, he will see that they only get what they deserve.
The company has no real operation base. There is no need for one because if anyone found out where the base is, then the entire operation could be taken down. Various websites are created over the holonet, as well as storefronts being able to live a nomadic life style. Setting up, and being there for a few days, then gone the next. Anyone who comes are given one chance to keep their identity a secret. However, if blown, Their identity will be spread throughout the holonet, and random hits will be placed upon them.
Many times people have come to visit Despair to ask for the hits to be taken off, or to grant a place to stay. Ever time, he has denied them. The Black Market is no place to mess around. Get in, Get out.
RATIONALE
OOC: Despair is an Alias for a multitude of characters that I will have running the show. It is from all of their stories that they come together and create a black market so that any one of them can get what they need out of the company, while providing services to those who pay for it.
IC: Despair is a man not to be trifled with. Very powerful, the man is not above selling his own family if necessary to make some credits. Creating this persona took a long time. Moving from one place to the next, he simply sold stuff out of his jacket like a beggar, and climbed his way to make a market for any to come and get what they need. No one knows his true nature or why he created such a place.
However, no one complains.
