The Deal Game (Darth Ayra)

On board the Imperial Phantom ship, the Apex, the crew were busy at work while awaiting the arrival of a special guest of the ship's captain and admiral in the Imperial Remnant. Apparently this guest, known as Alicia Drey, had been interested in Imperial matters and wished to speak with a representative. They found it odd that their commander, Admiral Eobarda Tarkin, had been chosen for this assignment. Unless she wasn't chosen but rather volunteered. Eother way it seemed an odd choice of action for one such as the admiral to undertake. They knew her more as a tactician and interested in battling the Imperial Remnant's enemies. But to act as diplomat didn't seem to fit her character. But apparently the Admiral was serious about it, having made all necessary arrangements before Miss Drey's arrival.
A shuttle bay would await Drey's arrival onto the Apex. From there the second-in-command of the ship, Commander Duran, would greet her before escorting her to the Admiral's primary quarters. The chiss officer would be awaiting her inside the holo-deck room that she considered a private quarters. The setting was changed into a more exotic and tropical one. A number of lush trees and vegetation surrounded a long table where two chairs were set with wine cups and awaiting droid attendants. Admiral Tarkin would be awaiting Drey's arrival inside from one end, which behind had the imagery of a beach in the distance. The added sounds and atmosphere almost made it seem all the more real. Her red eyes would be gazing in anticipation at her guests arrival, a confident and almost unsettling smirk on her blue skinned face.

Alicia wasn't familiar with the Apex or it's class, but she was with the Imperial Remnant. Before she had fallen pregnant, bringing forth the fruition of decades of research and development on the part of her Sith master, Alicia had met with Imperial leadership before her disappearance and Akala's attack on the galaxy. Their discussion at the time was the beginning of a venture in Imperial space, where Alicia could bring some business to the Empire in Exile's economy and worlds. Even fledgling Empire requires ships, ammunition, firearms, technology and foodstuffs. She had access to many contacts and had the resources to provide the Imperial Remnant. For a price.

Her business with the Imperial Remnant was to create a corporation by the name of ImperialArms Incorporated. The idea was to provide the aforementioned, through a government backed corporation. Agreements hadn't been reached because proposals had not been made. The untimely decision for Akala to attack the galaxy, coupled with her pregnancy, had put the negotiations on hold. Nine months later and the Imperial Remnant was in the process of recovering, much like everyone else; and with nothing left in the oven, Alicia was free to return to her work.

She entered the room where Admiral Tarkin waited for her, after being escorted from her transport. Alicia wore a plain white t-shirt and leather jacket, with black pants and designer trainers to match. It was a plain, yet stylish look that told a story in itself. Someone who understood what it was like to in poverty, yet had made it into the big time. Alicia had never lived in a poverty driven environment- and she was a millionaire- but that did not mean that she did not understand what it was like to be a impoverished Chandrilian, having spent most of her youth with them.

Lowering herself into the seat across from the Admiral, Alicia extended her hand to the Chiss with a small smile. "Thank you for meeting with me Admiral Tarkin. I look forward to finishing the negotiations that I began with the Imperial Remnant ten months ago."

Upon her arrival inside Admiral Tarkin stood, getting a better look at her while being polite and mannerism. Her eyebrow arched at the fact she wore less-then-formal attire when she thought this sort of business dealing would have both them in more appropriate wears. Still this woman had apparently endured a lot within the past nine months, if her information was as up-to-date as she expected it to be. Not wanting to make any fuss she merely leaned forward and shook Miss Drey's hand even after she sat down.
"And I am happy to represent the Imperial Remnant today to help finish set negotiations." she responded before taking her seat. Noticing her second in-command still at the door she noted "That will be all, Commander. Leave us." with a wave off of her hand. The commander bowed before walking out, the holo-deck maintaining the illusion of a jungle-like environment. Looking back to her guest the Admiral asked "Refreshments?" just as a droid had walked over and poured a glass of wine for her.
Her manner, posture and all together presence seemed to immanent how proper and formal the Admiral was, despite Alicia Drey's dressing. It was clear the chiss member of the Imperial Remnant had preferred to keep her image and not falter is, no matter the situation.

"Yes please. The trip was a long one. I would enjoy a Gizer ale if you have it. Drinking water for the past few weeks as I made my way out to the outer rim territories has left me with the want of a better taste."

"So Admiral, shall we get down to business?"

Tarkin gestured for the droid to serve Drey her drink. They did indeed have Gizer Ale, a sign that the chiss had plenty of drinks to serve any guests desire. Her red eyes seemed to stare on as she waited insilence for the droid to give her the drink. Apparently she wanted them on "equal terms" when they spoke. Once she was served she leaned back in her seat before hearing Miss Drey wanting to get down to business.
"Of course." she said, taking a small sip of her drink. "As I understand you're hoping to aquire funding through government backing. I trust you've found suitable investors?"

"I do. I have recently begun a venture on Chandrila, where I can set up a contract with the Imperial Remnant for the supply of consumables, for both the crews that serve on their star ships, as well as some civilian populaces. I recently liquidated my assets in another Chandrila based company called Chandrila DataTech and one on Balmorra. I have investments and contacts with other corporations in the core and mid rim that can give me some funding."

"The idea is ImperialArms Incorporated, a corporation backed by the Imperial Remnant and myself. I can design and create new technologies to be used for your military and civilian populaces, handle maintenance for ships such as this one and begin the supply of ammunition, fire arms and other munitions to add to the Imperial war machine."

"All I require is a government backing for the construction of a shipyard and/or acquisition of an existing shipyard owned by the Imperial Remnant, so that I can do the aforementioned. In return, the Imperial Remnant will have joint majority stake in ImperialArms Incorporated and it's assets, making myself and your government partners."

"When the company is up and running, we can look into the distribution of assets and the business strategy going forward."

Alicia had contact with some of the finest companies in the galaxy. She held a joint majority stake in Emeritus Industries and she was friends with the CEO of Krayt Industries. But Circe and Taeli had their own plans and own business models that didn't fit into making contact or creation of a contract with the Imperial Remnant. Emeritus was also a backer of the Galactic Republic, whereas Krayt was having their own problems with the One Sith; and Alicia was aware of the One Sith's opinion and perspective of the Imperial Remnant, having met with the Primeval on a few occasions to orchestrate it's demise.

The creation of a company that could do what Emeritus had done for the Republic and what Krayt had done for the One Sith within the Imperial Remnant borders eliminated the risks of setting up the company outside of their space. With some development and a good business strategy, ImperialArms Incorporated could become what those corporations were to those factions as it could be for the Empire in Exile; and that fitted in Darth Ayra's plans, for you never knew when you needed an army at your back to support you.

Alicia also had other assets, such as the one she mentioned on Chandrila; and her recent conversations with Selka Ventus made her think that iBorg wouldn't have a problem with the supply of the physical enhancements it could give to the Imperials. Her recent meeting with Xilo Gale and the loss of his arm made her think that there would be times when servicemen, women and even civilians would need a replacement limb or organ, if Alicia understood Selka's desires and model. Suffice to say, there was a lot Alicia Drey had to offer to the Imperial Remnant. They need only take her offer and it was there to be used.

As Miss Drey spoke and explained her methods of using this new "ImperialArms Inc." and it's benefit to the Remnant Admiral Tarkin just sat and listened with an almost unsettling intent. Her red eyes stared out, keeping focus on the woman. She made no movements of indications of her intrest or disinterest during the entire conversation. It was like a statue, or even more so a patcient predator, watching and listening to everything while consider the new move to make. She never even made a move for her cup of wine. Her intent was purely focused on Alicia Drey and her proposal.
Once she finished it was only then that Tarkin moved, taking another sip of her glass before saying "Interesting. You seem to have everything set and ready. Good. Though, I can't help but wonder, with all of these deals you have planned, what is it you hope to gain in return from the Imperial Remnant? Whealth? Protection? A planet to rule?"

"Wealth is the main objective. But I find myself patriotic. I support the ideals of the Imperial Remnant. The charter of the New Order was something that I studied whilst I went through college and university on Chandrila. With the discovery that the Empire in Exile still at Crina, I want to help resurrect the Empire and make it a dominant power in the galaxy. Peace through strength, right?"

Alicia picked up her Gizer Ale and took a drink. It tasted like candy, leaving a lime grime glow on her teeth, which she licked clean with her tongue before leaning back in her seat to watch the Admiral quietly.

"Ah." Tarkin said after hearing her reasoning. "So you're in it because you share the same beliefs. And why not? The galaxy was in a much better place when the Old Empire exsisted. With the exception of the Rebellion of course. But this day and age has more than just rebels as the Empire's enemy. There's the Republic. The One Sith. The Protectorate. And so on. And our situation leaves our 'strength' in something of short supply. But I ask you this, Miss Drey, how do you compensate peace through strength when you have little to begin with?" She was silent for a moment before asnwering, cutting off Drey even if she spoke. "You do so by being clever."

It was Alicia's turn to be quiet now. She stared into the crimson eyes of the Chiss with her own Hazel coloured ones. The Human remained sombre in her facial expression, hands resting on her lap whilst she waited for Eobarda to make a decision. She had delivered her pitch and she had a contract for Eobarda to sign. All that was required was the go ahead.

After her little spout Admiral Tarkin stood with a growing smile and said "But to be clever means to have the right assest. Which, as it so happens, you have." she began to walk to the other end of the table while finishing with "It seems we've reached a decent enough agreement, yes? You provide the resources and needed weapons and ship and so forth, and in return you can help bring about the Empire's glorious return to the galaxy. A glorious oppertunity for both sides. Wouldn't you agree?" she held a hand out for Drey to shake.

"So long as the Imperial Remnant add their support to my proposal and invest in the project, then we do have an agreement." Alicia rose to her feet and shook the Admiral's hand. "Are you authorized to sign our agreement? I have a contract here that lists the expectation and estimates of our proposal, requiring an authorized signature for both parties."

"I am an admiral after all." she said, looking over to where she had the contract. "I can assure you both myself and my superiors are happy to have you." After looking over the documentation of the deal itself Admiral Tarkin snapped a finger. One of the droids reacted and hurried over with a pen, handing it to Alicia Drey. "After you, of course." Tarkin gestured.

Alicia pulled out the Lenoi I and unfolded it onto the table. She brought up the contract and signed her name, waiting for the Admiral to sign her name in the authorized signature and the field below Alicia's signature.

Once both contracts were presented to her Admiral Tarkin took a moment to overlook both. Her red eyes scaned them both, seeing everything was in agreement and arrangment. Everything they spoke f and went of had been covered in both peices. Nodding she took the pen and placed her signature on both papers. Once it was settled she handed the pen back to the droid. The deal was made.
Looking to Drey now Tarkin smiled, offering a hand, while saying "A pleasure to do business with you.... [member="Darth Ayra"] ."

[member="Eobarda Tarkin"]

"Yes, it certainly was. I look forward to our next meeting." Alicia shook the hand of the Admiral before folding the Lenoi I closed and pocketing it. She drained the glass of Gizer Ale, cleaned her teeth with her tongue and proceeded to move out of the room. She was escorted back to her Niathal-class transport, which disembarked from the Apex after clearance was given to go.
