The Death of House Sorenn-Syrush: Part 2 - Means of Production

3.75 Months after Uncommon Ending
The Death of House Sorenn-Syrush: Part 2 - Means of Production
Arkania - Local Time
Three corporations, their headquarters held in one building with minor facilities spread throughout the territory of the Collective. It was known as Sorenn-Syrush Zaibatsu, though that name would not be there for much longer - as already agents of House Thrune had been dispatched to the corporation. The Knights of the Order had forced their way into the structure - for their action said a simple and clear message - the holdings of House Sorenn-Syrush were being seized by an outside source and it was one that wanted to ensure everything remained intact for their own reasons.
At the same time as the headquarters of Sorenn-Syrush Zaibatsu was being seized, the headquarters of Zaibatsu Banking and the Zaibatsu Mechanized Group were struck - the board members were quickly and ceremoniously arrested by the Order - their promulgation of the law being their reasoning for it; though there was something more behind the scenes.
Even the small manufacturing facilities and locations of these companies were struck and seized, with anything of value being inventoried and held until they could be properly transferred as required.
Balmorra - Local Time
The facility hadn't been spared by the Sith - nothing much on the world had been with their attack - let alone anyone that came along to loot what they could find. The moment they arrived they had found a nearly burnt out factory with little left in the way of equipment; however they still had a job. The Knights quickly formed a perimeter, shutting off access to the location - even going so far as to throw squatters out and put down a few looters that felt lucky.
What remained in the factory would be taken - relocated to another world to ensure that manufacturing for Sorenn-Syrush Industries would return - though not under that name. Likewise anything remaining was quickly inventoried and stored for the moment - for this day was not yet done. There was still other worlds were the holdings of the companies of House Sorenn-Syrush were being seized by House Thrune.
The Ishanna System - Local Time
A raspy weezing escaping the helm of the woman, her attention upon the structure before her - and at her back was a legion of Knights - her hand came up before dropping as the Knights quickly fell upon the building. It was the corporate headquarters of Sorenn-Syrush Industries and it was the last holdings of House Sorenn-Syrush beyond the last few companies that had to be taken - though those were still within the territory of the Commenor Systems Alliance and were subsidiaries of SSI. A soft smirk upon her lips - though hidden by the helm - formed as she stepped forward.
There was at least one person in this building that she wanted to speak with personally, to ensure that they understood what was happening. Stepping into the lobby, she watched as those behind the front desk seemed to panic, her attention shifting to them for a moment before moving towards the turbolifts. Knights stepped in with her - the lift shuttering for a moment before rising up and quickly transporting the group to their destination.
Stepping from the lift, she pushed open the doors before her, her eyes settling upon the young woman that had been left in charge - or at least thats how it should have been.
" [member="Asha Mataya-Syrush"] , please, we must speak... it is imperative for your safety and to ensure that safety of others of this house."

Even though Asha had been almost exclusively focussed on running her part of SSI, recent events had not slipped by her. House Syrush had become a target and with that she had too, yet that seemed to have been the least of her concern throughout it all. Instead it was another thought that always crept on the outskirts of her mind, always looking to catch the woman off-guard while she tried to distract herself with her work. The news of Amelia's death had affected her greatly and often brought her back to when her father passed away, causing the same kind of heartache she was feeling now. Although not her mother in a biological sense, Amelia was not only the reason she was even alive to this day but had given her a home when she no longer had one. Now it felt like she was alone once again, something that was hard to swallow.

The distraction that her duties provided was not always enough to keep herself going and even if it was effective most of the time it had caused Asha to spend even more time in her office than before, to the point where she would often simply fall asleep at her desk out of fatigue. Even now she was fighting against her tired state, forcing herself to double-check yet another potential contract to make sure it was devoid of any mistakes. With a slow nod to confirm with herself that everything was in order she commanded the terminal to send it out, letting out a deep sigh as the woman turned her attention to the notebook next to it and crossed off another task. Before moving on to the next however, she heard the sound of the turbolift arriving at the floor of her office, causing her to scramble up her planner to see if she had missed an appointment. She did not have the chance to even flip to the right day before the doors of the office were pushed open, however and at the sight of the group of masked persons Asha instinctively jumped out of her seat, the adrenaline that suddenly started coursing through her system removing any feeling of fatigue.

"Who are you?" Her voice gave away the shock of suddenly standing face to face to with whoever spoke to her, the concern that came paired with it amplifying her sense of urgency. "And what brings you to me?"

"It is a sad day when a daughter forgets their mother my dear."

Bringing a hand up, she motioned quietly before her voice once more rang out into the room.

"Leave us... Finish securing the facility, we need it to look as though we are seizing the property and not just walking in without a problem."

The Knights would quickly salute before slipping back into the turbolift, the doors to the office remaining open as the woman let out a soft sigh. Slowly she moved to the doors, bringing them together and closing them firmly before she returned her attention to the young woman. Bringing her hands up, she ensured that the shades to the office would be drawn, or rather she wanted to make sure that they had the privacy required for what was to happen next.

Pulling her hands up, she slowly released the hoses from the helm, a loud hiss escaping into the room. With careful movement and precise execution, she slowly removed the helm before setting it down on the table before her. Golden hues peering upon the young woman as a soft smirk remained upon her lips - and though she understood the dangers of revealing her face when all thought she dead - she figured she could at the very least trust her daughter.

"Well hello there my dear..."

When the mask came off, Asha's face's already pale look intensified as her eyes went wide in disbelief, not entirely certain it was reality she was seeing. The sight left her frozen in place for a while but as she heard her voice without the mask on the realization slowly began to sink in. Her hands began shaking slightly as she moved one of them to close her notebook in the calmest fashion she could muster, something she did without thinking. Without keeping her eyes off of her she walked around the desk she had been sitting at moment ago and walked up to the unmasked woman, leaving only a few steps distance while directly looking into her eyes.

"So you're not dead," Asha said to break the short moment of silence.

"For almost four months I struggled to cope with what happened. I didn't know what to do. I thought that I was alone again." her vision became slightly blurry from the tears welling up in her eyes, which she remedied by blinking a number of times. "And then you just show up in my office out of nowhere, I..." She was at a complete loss for words, the shock turning her mind into a mess. Instead, she closed the distance between them and expressed her thoughts non-verbally, embracing her adoptive mother. Deep down Asha still didn't fully believe what she was seeing.
