Developed in the year 3620 BBY by Sith Lord Kalrath, the Delegator was a device intended to lure in force sensitives. Lord Kalrath intended for it to draw in those he could twist to his own designs, hoping to utilize it to create an army in a short ammount of time. It was created with the intention of being housed on a space station which housed it, ferrying it out to worlds far from the influence of the Jedi to discover large numbers of force sensitives to expose to the dark side. While he pitched the device to the Sith Council as a means of rapidly recruiting new warriors in preperation for their upcoming conflict with the Republic, he intended to use it for his own purposes, hoping to create a shadow army behind the back of his order. A betrayal from another Sith would see it lost, however, vanished into hyperspace never to be seen again. The device was intended to be utilized by a powerful technopath, a rare ability that interfaced well with technology. Utilizing the power of the technopath's force sensitivity and the enhancing capabilities of a Force Crystal, the device could enduce an artificial Force Call to call out to other force sensitives. For those unwilling to power the device, the Delegator was equipped with a means of injecting the technopath with sedative drugs in order to keep them from resisting and effecting the strength of the call. It remains MIA, lost out in the galaxy somewhere...
