The screams had been silenced a week before. Vash didn't quiet them because it bothered his ears, but he didn't need them drawing any extra attention. The disappearance of three of their workers caused enough trouble. They didn't have enough credits to hire anyone from what he could tell, and they were hardly armed. Two of his subjects were Vulpteeran, the last an Amaran. They were a part of a very small colony who's interactions with the rest of the galaxy were extremely limited. A ship would come every three months to pick up what salvage they had and sell them what they needed for survival and continued work. Neither were really profiting from the scenario, and so they were easy targets for testing. Plus, he hadn't tested on Vulpteerans before.
The vocal cords of course were removed, and what limbs they had were paralyzed. His tests were naturally done while they were conscious, how else would one measure pain, fear, and rage? They weren't force sensitive unfortunately, however, studying the minds of victims was always interesting to him. Each test somehow digging him deeper into how to truly create a species that existed in the dark side. There were other emotions of course, but he was obsessed with seeing these played out as they'd seemed the most powerful. They may not serve as the most intelligent of his creations, but perhaps a new species could be created that would be perfect as servants or even merely a dominant race. Maybe it wouldn't even need to be carnivorous or omnivorous this time! Perhaps a sith pureblood would be good for such testing. Shame they were so hard to get ones hands on.
The Avansas called Vash Walker had landed his ship, the Persistence, with its crew a good distance away, also hidden very well. His appearence had also been altered, he couldn't have any of this coming back to bite him could he? He chose something that was somewhat resembling his favored creation, the Voran. Of course his form was modified. One of their sets of legs traded for a pair of wings, a second set of eyes on the forehead that are more human, and the ability to speak in basic. It was a rather monstrous thing to see, and even worse to fight. Though the weapons on the creature, and importantly, the artifact within the satchel warpped around it, were perhaps of more concern. This form had made it very easy to capture and bring his victims to his lair, with its massive size, speed, and many limbs, it was remarkably easy to move a considerable amount of extra materials without even using the force as an aid. All while holding his victim tightly in the smaller arms.
