Take a really pulchritudinous set of engines, strap them to a chair, and bolt on a minelayer. Such is the premise of the Die Nasty, a unique little boat that the Wretched Hive's outlaw techs built a decade back. Jerec Asyr, having worked for the Hive before, always keeps his eyes open for their work. He was lucky enough to snag the Die Nasty in the estate sale of a hotdogging Nautolan collector who forgot to buckle in while traveling at something like 175 MGLT on an orbital offramp. Apparently the guy died with a smile on his face. Or at least that's what Jerec hears from the test-drivers who've seen the Nautolan's ghost grinning at them over the handlebars.
