To hide from the Jedi and Sith alike, there was little options The Slave could face. He sought something more than simply biding his time nearby, carelessly allowing them to watch a negligable child study from afar. No, what he sought was training under the greatest of both sides, but to simply do so was impossible with the incessantly malevolent aura he gave off. While he could make his presence passively missing at a glance, to truly hide who he was; now that was a challenge he sought to conquer.
By sacrifically pressing thousands force sensitive slaves into pens and concentrate their presence into a single alchemized Tsil, The Slave created a necklace that rivaled even the great works of Darth Sidious himself. To think that such a small crystal, one who hungered on both sides of the force, could carry with it such a dangerously powerful ability. Yet, with this power came the equally horrid side effects that it caused; slowly eating away the being that wore it for too long from the inside out.
After satisfying its initial urges on the passive youth he owned, the necklace soon discovered just who his new master would be. To not bite the hand that feeds, it allowed him to wear it with little concern; but even so the ever constant need to feed forces it to eat away at its bearer at all times. To not feed would mean death, and there was no way the crystal would let itself die for any master.
