The Doors are Open

Kerkov strode across the almost finished decks of Trade Station 318. Cigarra in mouth, his face displayed that he was very pleased with the close completion of the Station. Kerkov had began the plans or this ever since the OCA joined the Unknown Trade Conglomerate. Now that the Open Circle Armada had control of the planet, they were going to reupholster it's once flourishing trade, under there and the UTC's guidance.

With a puff of his slowly disintegrating stick of paper wrapped dried vegatation, he knew that his daughter would most likely disapprove of him smoking, and most likely Jaster too. But what the heck, he had been so many months without it due to the never ending pile of work, it was nice to have a break once in awhile.

Now his daughter, [member="Mila Kerkov"], was coming to visit him after such a long time away, she was joining his Armada, she would be commissioned the William Kerkov, a Consular Class (Retrofit) Cruiser that was under the command of the 1st Fleet, his fleet. And he decided to invite her here to tell her the good news. He had specifically chosen the ship just for her, Kerkov thought it would be very entertaining having her command a ship bearing his name, under his command.

But this meeting wasn't all pleasure, because Viceroy [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] was coming so they could establish UTC trade here, an old rival now good friend. And Kerkov expected him to arrive an minute now, into one of the 3 finished docking bays, large enough to fit a military grade cruiser. As he passed construction workers, sailors, and various officers, Kerkov waited patiently for his visitors.

Jaster was awaire of his alliance with his old enemy, but after the deaths of 20 of his closest supporters, nearly all the old Mandalorian Marines had left him. He no longer needed to carry the fake gruge that was required of him, after all, this was buisness.

Jaster didn't feel like brining a while fleet with him, this he only required to bring in a smaller amount of merchant ships to assist with the construction and act as the main trade ships for the planet. This begun would be the main stronghold for the entire outerim. Without terminus, Jaster would have spend more money and time in securing outpost and ports. With the OCA at his side, he secured a second armada and protection to vital trade routes. While the OCA secured the outerim and core worlds, Jaster could focus on the Unknown Region and hunt for pirates.

He arrived at the large station on time with one of his personal shuttles, the merchant fleet was only a day behind him. Jaster liked traveling fast instead of in style, style cost him fuel, and cost was not acceptable. As Admiral Kerkov was a member of the Merchant Board, he needed to be on his best behavior, talks of the trade would be negotiated.

The hot topic though, was the exchange of products, both organizations had weapons and armor and ships specified for one another. Today's talks would help blur the lines between the two, make the two organizations closer then before. Jaster of course carried an ace of his sleeve to help ease the possible tensions.

Kerkov wore his unmistakeable trademark grin as view of Viceroy [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] was achieved. Kerkov walked up the shuttle with timeliness to greet the Head of the Unknown Trade Conglomerate. He waived off the inspection team approaching, making sure not to displease his guest. With them out of the way he turned to Jaster,

"Viceroy Jaster, so good to see you again, I see you got my invitation. Now that I am freshly opening the doors to our first trade station in the OCA, I wanted to get you and the UTC here to help start up trade for the station, not that Terminus is lacking in trade. And now that we control Terminus and everything that goes on in it, we want your presence here to help reinforce it."

Mila Kerkov, age 19, finally returned to the side of her father, via an escort appointed by William himself. "I wonder what he's got planned this time. Last encounter I had with him, he made me a Commander." She spoke into the comms of the ship she flew with the escort. "Oh its no matter. I haven't seen him since I was 16, I bet the old man has been worried sick about me."

The copilot chuckled and leaned back a moment. "Knowing him.... He's been too stressed and flooded with paperwork to have much time to think about family. Its a sad truth."

Mila frowned softly. She knew that the male was probably right. Regardless, she made her way to the station. Within minutes she was asking for permission to board. "Trade Station 318, this is Commander Mila Kerkov. I request permission to board the station. I have business with my father, the Fleet Admiral."

"Admiral, it is truely wonderful to see you again," has stated as he exited his vessel, it had been a long travel and he wished to greet the man. Jaster created the UTC because as a sole company he was unable to create the long line of negotiations and protection as larger corporations could. With the OCA, they added more trade ships and access to shipyard, their ground military was also very large, though only slightly better then Jasters Police Force. The Conglomerate Private Police were of course more numerous then the OCAs Marines, they were better equipped and trained. They would be able to protect outpost and invade better then Jaster officers could. He needed them as much as they needed Jasters trade routes.

"I trust these negotiations will profits the both of us as, and I smell that you still haven't quite smoking, don't worry, my XO is still tring to get me to put down the drink." Jaster smirked at the man, it would seem that both the old soldiers still held onto their old habits.

Kerkov escaped a small laugh as the Viceroy added that bit,

"Well we best be going to one of the finished meeting rooms, to discuss our business. Now follow me-"

Before Kerkov could finish his sentence his commlink beeped, after pressing a button on the little piece electronic a voice started a report to the Fleet Admiral,

"Sir, there is someone trying to gain access to the station, they identify them self as, Commander [member="Mila Kerkov"], she says that you have business with her. Is she cleared?"

"Of course lieutenant, she is cleared."

Kerkov answered quickly. Kerkov turned his attention back to Jaster,

"I'm sorry for the rude interruption, that is my daughter. I haven't seen her in three years, I wonder how much she has changed. But let us get back to business, although if you wouldn't mind if we made a small detour to docking bay 2 whilst on the way?"

Jaster was enjoying the time away from his desk, after here he would have to return to touring around the galaxy to other negotiations and meetings. This business the Kerkov was speaking of was really just jaster awarding a ton of things to the Admiral. Jaster had taken too much of the work load as of late and much of the political work had been pileling up.

When Kerkov mentioned he had a daughter, jaster was not aware of this, did he really know that little about the people he worked with. "I didn't know you had a daughter Admiral? I myself have a little one who's grown, I haven't seen her in quite some time, time truely flies when business is all you worry about," jaster bowed his head in respect, "not at all, lead the way good sir."

It feels good to be back..

She, along with her fighter escort, landed in their hangar bays. She took her helmet off and allowed her short brown hair with caramel highlights to flow free and she rose out of the fighter that she was given. Her pilot outfit was a little bit tighter and was now uncomfortable. Her body had changed and now she had a finer curvature that could often become a problem with the males. It was something her father might end up needing to keep an eye on and point a rifle or two every now and again. Her eyes closed as she smelled the scent of craft being fueled and she made her way to the docking bay doors to enter the facility.

As Kerkov entered the doors of the second hangar bay, he found the new body of his once younger daughter. In an instant he gave her a warm smile,

"Mila! You made it! My oh my, how much you have grown."

Noticing the suit, and the uneasiness it gave Kerkov he added,

"Lets get you into a proper commander's uniform."

Kerkov pressed a button on his commlink, notifying a team of personnel of what he needed. He turned back to look at Jaster, remembering his guest,

"I almost forgot, Viceroy Jaster, this is my daughter Commander Mila Kerkov."

Jaster had followed the admiral from one hanger bay to another, he conversated with the admiral of small subjects, just small talk. He wished to pass the time, not make it seem as a business visit, but more of a reunion.

They entered the hangerbay to a large ship that had fighters along side it. Seemed rather important, and he just hopped the daughter wasn't like the Admiral. All he needed was another thick headed individual that would find any time to mention his rank and accomplishments. Don't get him wrong, having a drink and smoke with William was a fantastic time, but when business was mentioned, the man was difficult to get to stop talking.

The young women exited the vessel and spoke with William, then he introduced her to Jaster, she seemed nice enough. Jaster bowed his head and said, "A pleasure to meet you ma'am"

While she got the looks of her father, her mentality was that of her mother, more levelheaded and willing to sit back and think of the situation that was under wraps. "The pleasure is mine. You must be one of father's friends."

She kept a warm smile as she turned and hugged her father a moment to reminisce. "I missed you dad. How have things been? Too busy to send me a message while I was at your officer corps school?" She poked fun of him knowing how much of a busy man he must be.

Kerkov replied to all the barraging questions,

"I missed you too sweety, too busy? Honey while you have been learning about battles, I have been fighting them constantly. At least I hope you were learning."

"Now Viceroy, if you would please follow me, and if you wouldn't mind, Mila you as well?"

Kerkov gestured towards the Meeting room.

It was slightly odd to see Kerkov, or William act so soft. His encounters with the man were that he was a strong military leader and even tougher buisnessman. To see him so soft and possibly even undefended to his daughter was somewhat gingerly to Jasters amusement. It took nearly all his concentration and will to not smirk or squik with enjoyment.

He gestured for Mila to walk ahead of him, he was sure they wished to speak before Jaster would interrupt him for buisness. "After you Commander Kerkov, I'm sure you and your father have some catching up to do."

"Reminisce? Oh... That can be done at a later time. You two currently have matters to discuss, so I shall be merely decoration." Moments later a couple staff members came and tried to urge her to the side so they could acquire proper measurements. She signaled the other male to take his leave with her father while she took care of her wardrobe issue.
