The Homeworld of the Kel Dor's was a dark and dusty planet located within the Expansionist Region of the Galaxy and close to the Galactic Alliance, the galaxy's one and only true superpower still remaining after the sundering. Situated between two black holes that made accessing the planet difficult even for the native species. Additionally, the atmosphere of the world was equally as threatening to outsiders for it contained very little oxygen and could barely support life without the use of specialized masks.

However potent these defenses might be they would not allow the planet to escape the repercussions of the sudden collapse of the
New Imperial Order/Empire which left swathes of former imperial territory up for grasp as dozens of imperial warlords look to establish their own imperial fiefdoms in an attempt to challenge the remaining powers that be.

The return of the Imperial Warlord States could spell disaster for the neutral planets still remaining such as Dorin which lay outside the defined boundaries of the Galactic Alliance. This technicality would be exploited most considerably by the
Imperial Monsua Command lead by the spiced infused SUPREME ADMIRAL STYGIAN who sends a small imperial task force to the world in order to procure workers and forcibly conscript the population before help from the Galactic Alliance can arrive. The movement of former imperial vessels so close to the Alliance Border would arouse suspicion quite quickly which leaves only a small window of time for the task force to complete it's mission and return to the safety of the nebula.

The swirling mists of Dorin's dense atmosphere obscured the approaching fleet, masking their intensions until it was too late. The neutral world was known for its rich traditions and force sensitive Kel Dor inhabitants and had long been a symbol for republic ideals with various kel dor becoming jedi in the service of the Ancient Galactic Republic before the clone wars had occurred, and some serving with the Galactic Alliance and the New Jedi Order. However this relative peace on the world was shattered as the 1st Monsua Task Force under the command of Captain Zurza Barca descended on the unsuspecting world.

As the first Star Destroyers emerged from hyperspace, their ominous presence casting a shadow over the landscape. Imperial TIE Fighters screamed through the treacherous and unpredictable atmosphere in an effort to destroy any resistance before the arrival of the main occupation force following behind them. Although the Task Force was few in number compared to the immense star fleets of the
Galactic Alliance but present amongst them were some of the finest imperial warships ever to come out of the New Imperial Order/Empire's modernization program before their sudden collapse.

"Have we scanned the surrounding systems for alliance warships?" came the gruff voice of Captain Barca glancing over the holographic screen presented to him. "Yes, Sir. COMSCAN has detected no enemy forces within the surroundings systems. We seem to have caught the planet entirely unaware." was the reply given by the communication officer as they sent the data to the Captain. There was a sense of doubt within his mind about the success of the mission given to him by Supreme Admiral Stygian. They were here to occupy the planet for a short while; capturing workers and new recruits for the Monsua Command before the Galactic Alliance could arrive to repulse them.

"Gentlemen we are on a limited time schedule; and I expect no delays. Inform the surface marshal that he can press with the attack." Captain Barca said wanting to accomplish the mission with all due haste to avoid damage to his battlefleet. The hangers would be a buzz of activity as technicians and officers ran towards the ground vehicles to load them into the transports for surface assault.

Jonyna had always been one quick to respond. But after her time spent with Valery Noble Valery Noble and Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble , she now knew going in guns blazing wasn't the greatest strategy.

But Imperials knocking on the door of her padawan's homeworld? That got her fur standing up. Lucky her, she knew who to call for such a mission. Minerva Fhirdiad Minerva Fhirdiad was a friend, and anyone willing to help her against the Imps would be help enough. Lucky enough, the Reaper was fully equipped to house enough men to take a small city.

She also seemed to pick up another Mando along the way. Drego Ruus Drego Ruus was a curious case where she'd heard reports of some maniac in beskar running around Coruscant taking bounties in a speeder. The fact he insisted in loading it into the cargo hold of her ship didn't warm her up to him, but the thing was massive enough to warrant it. The Reaper did have enough room for one other large vehicle within it's cargo bay, but she would let Minerva decide what to load into there. She had considered loading up the Skytiger, her new X-wing, but given that they'd be dealing with Ties in the hundreds, she wasn't going to waste her new fighter on going up against a while blockade's worth of fighters. She was in fact, smarter than that, much to some people's disbelief. It was moment's like this she missed Zash. A former Imp pilot would be amazing right now.

Her foot tapped impatiently as they exited hyperspace. The sight of a blockade around the planet was a sight she'd seen too many times.

The Skywatcher Class entered the system, just outside of the range of the Imperial scanners. "Minerva, anyone on your crew know the new Imp codes? If we can get in undetected, that'd be great. If not, we'll try and slip in the chaos."

In the cargo Minerva and her whole company readied themselves. Many were making last minute inspections of their gear and weapons. The warrior herself had finished hers already but went around checking her fellow commandos. Having served for years with a number of them she can tell they were concerned but committed to the task at hand. They wore various forms of diverse uniforms and makeshift armor to fit their disguise as galactic mercenaries.

Often Strike Force Talon acted with plausible deniability in mind when operating outside Alliance Space in the event they were fighting beside the main Defense Force. Besides they doubted the Warlords would treat them any differently in case of capture if they openly displayed Alliance uniforms. Not that Minerva had any intention of surrendering right now.

Stopping for a moment she nodded to Gakot and Sumi were in the front seats for the landspeeder they brought with them. It can't carry everyone but it will serve a different purpose instead. Subsequently she spared a glance at Drego nearby doing his own thing. Fighting beside a fellow Mandalorian who shared common cause with her was a blessing. Quickly she got Jonyna's message on the comms.

With a savage grin she answered.

"Sumi got the codes already. Transmitting them now. They should work long enough for us to land on Dorin but we won‘t fool them with that trick afterwards.”

Drego was always one to be paranoid about his equipment. Any good soldier should be, he figured. Checking and double checking his Orar, he knew his baby worked. But he was double checking anyways, clearing and stripping it once more to make damn sure it would work. He'd done this twice now on the way here, his third time a ritual at this point. He was sure Minerva Fhirdiad Minerva Fhirdiad understood. The fact that he was carrying what looked to be 3 sets of bandoliers over his armor made the sight of the mando quite the sight next to his Speeder, a massive beast that seemed to be designed more like a GADF tank than a speeder. It gave him some leeway in how they'd go about this. If they could stave off Imp ground forces, the cruisers in orbit would be strapped for manpower. The Imps always seemed to be these days, and he doubted that between five cruisers, the imps had even a single fullly manned ship.

Of course, if they did, then that's just more bucket heads to shoot.

It would all come down to how the Cathar in charge would take this. Maybe she was fun, and they'd try to board one of the cruisers. That would be spectacle to be sure.

((You tense Short Stuff?)) Drego asked his fellow mando. He only had about a half a foot over her, but it was enough for him to choose to pick a nickname. Nicknames would help him remember people. ((Been a while since I've fought alongside another Mando. What clan you from?))

The din of activity filled the hangar bay as technicians, pilots, stormtroopers, soldiers, droids, and specialists carried out the final preparations before planetfall. For her part, Eden did one last check over all of her weapons and equipment. As this would be her first time using the Breakneck Bunny—her new combat bodysuit—the gynoid had taken extra steps to ensure that everything was in working order. Systems were tuned and calibrated, hardware was warmed up and primed, and tests were executed. Once she was satisfied, Eden made her way into the hangar bay, where her bodysuit-clad form stood out amidst a sea of black pilot suits, white stormtrooper armors, and gray Imperial uniforms. While it went without saying that she was aesthetically out of place, the gynoid’s mercenary contract with Monusa Command had given her plenty of leeway to bring her own equipment. After all, one of the many reasons Imperials hired mercenaries or shadowrunners in the first place was that equipment costs were typically covered by the contractor.

Without breaking her stride, Eden made her way to the shuttle that would take her down to the surface. At first glance, she thought it was a TIE bomber, but upon seeing an officer—her assigned handler—direct her to what would have been its ordnance pod, she realized that it was a TIE shuttle.

“I’m ready, Lieutenant Mara.” Eden said as she ascended into the passenger pod via the boarding ramp. “Have I been assigned an objective, yet?” She asked.

“You’ll be tasked with assisting in the effort to covering and protect the capture teams, however you see fit. We expect you to keep this operation going smoothly, until we extract.” The Lieutenant replied.

“Mhmm hmm. That should be fun.” The gynoid purred as she entered the passenger pod, before playfully shimmying down into an open seat, a coy smile splayed across her features as she did. “How much resistance are we expecting?”

The Lieutenant gave an enervated sigh. “Enough to justify tolerating the likes of you.” She murmured.

“Oh baby!”

Captain Barca was not entirely sure when the Galactic Alliance would arrive to assist the planet, but there were some whispers from coruscant that a sizeable force of warships had been diverted to the Mandalorian frontier in order to protect neutral planets and the profitable trade zones. If such rumors were to be believed they could breath a side of relief as they were not equipped to deal with alliance forces directly.

Glancing at the holographic screen on the tablet as report after report flooded into the command bridge from the other vessels within the fleet; showing that they were in the final stages of preparations for the ground assault upon Dorin. Although there were many dangers to overcome such as the unpredictable atmosphere which would present a formidable challenge to any force attempting to occupy the planet even for a short amount of time.

As such extra precautions were being taken such as securing breathing masks and other appropriate gear from the armory which afforded the planetary population some extra time to arm themselves as the invasion became known to them. Such thinking was interrupted by the voice of a technician operating one of the many monitors who picked up something strange. "Sir, I have detected a vessel moving into the system and they have begun transmitting their signal to us.". The Imperial Captain had to pause and think for a moment as there mission here was strictly confidential. It would be unwise to leave the vessel alive given their precarious position on the alliance border regions.

"Let them through the blockade, I do not believe that they are actually imperials but the less witnesses we have the better." Barca said knowing with certainty that they were not members of the New Imperial Order/Empire but needed to have them eliminated before word got out.

"Attention vessel. You have been granted clearance to the system but stray from your path and you will be eliminated."

Was the response given to the unknown vessel and its crew ( Jonyna Si Jonyna Si | Minerva Fhirdiad Minerva Fhirdiad | Drego Ruus Drego Ruus ) as the fleet moved ever so slightly to provide them with an opening although TIE Fighters watched their approach.

"Attention all ground forces, this is Surface Marshal Lazar. You may begin your landing upon the City of Marna." Came the voice of the surface marshal within the various hangers of the imperial task force. The flurry of activity on board the fleet would not cease for some time as the transports were loaded and begin descending down through the atmosphere towards the planet surface.

The 1st and 2nd Divisions and their personnel (Eden Io) would be the first to touch down several miles outside the city limits. expecting fierce resistance from the inhabitants of the world. Their landing shuttles making a loud hiss as they began unloading their cargo upon the world. Imperial Army Troopers and Sandtroopers would begin walking down the transports onto the surface for the first time.

"Deep Dark confirming change in course." The voice of an imperial pilot confirmed over the comms, the voice a in reality a simulation of a one Zash Avvadu, former Tie pilot. Dice was good like that.

Jonyna let out a breath as the Ties escorted them down to the planet. The entrance was always going to be the part that gave her the most stress. She hated combat flying, the uncertainty and the sense of vulnerability. Zash used to tell her about how thrilling it was, but Jonyna could never feel that way about it. She enjoyed control, the sense of options within the battlefield. A certainty that you could turn the tide of battle at any moment.

But maybe she was just strange in that sense.

She reached for the internal comms they had set up, an encrypted frequency that only transmitted within the ship.

"We're in the clear Minerva Fhirdiad Minerva Fhirdiad . Planetfall in 5 minutes. Get your men ready."

(None yet vod. Either I will forge my own or join another if death doesn't claim my life first.) Minerva answered back in Mando’a.

Though in the back of her mind the option to join another clan is made all the more difficult given the choice she made to oppose the Enclave. Well her own adopted father repeatedly stated the following.

Being Mandalorian is never easy and nor should it be.

Back to reality she sized up Drego Avik again. He carries himself well, she silently admits as anyone of their people should. Not to mention being armed to the teeth. Her brethren won't be lacking in firepower nor ammunition.

(To fight beside our own is a blessing but only for the right reasons. If we survive this perhaps we can share drinks and stories.)

Upon hearing Jonyna's intercom announcement she nodded. To the whole company she bellowed.

"Alright everyone ready yourselves! It's time to mess with the Imps again but remember we're also here to help the Kel Dor. We won't be able to save everyone but we will do everything possible in our power to aid them. Fight for those people, fight for the Alliance and last but not least fight for the comrades beside you!"

Suddenly raising her right fist high over the shoulders the Talons let out their own roars and cheers. The time has come. They were outnumbered and possibly outgunned but they're going into battle nonetheless. Without any further hesitation the company finished the last of their preparations, getting into position locked and loaded behind the two vehicles.

(If ya start one, invite me. I'm a Bralor Boy, but given how those frags are shaping up lately, don't know where my allegiances lie right now.) He took a moment to do what many mandos would consider heresy. He pulled a cigar out of one of his poaches, and lifted his helmet, taking a moment to light up a smoke as Minerva Fhirdiad Minerva Fhirdiad hyped up her men. (You want a smoke before we get down there? Helps calm the nerves.)

As anticipated, the flight down to the surface passed without incident. Disembarking as soon as the shuttle touched down, Eden assessed the environment with synthetic efficiency, her icy gaze darting from one area to the next in unerring, rigorous fashion. Satisfied that there were no threats in the immediate area, the gynoid took off from the ground via her bodysuit’s ion thrusters, before accelerating towards the rendezvous point to link up with the 1st and 2nd divisions.

“I’ll be with the shuttle, Eden. Keep me abreast of your movements and do not stray from our objective, unless absolutely necessary.” Mara spoke out over the comms.

“Copy that.” The gynoid answered back. “I’m en route to the rendezvous point, over.”

PROJECT ADJUDICATOR
PERSONA
: IAKAR THIF

The Galaxy was an ever-changing landscape, with constant war bringing forth the rise and fall of numerous regimes both old and new. Throughout the past century this increase in violence and destruction has spared only a few planets with each region of the galaxy being no stranger to the chaos that came with the emergence and collapse of galactic governments. In recent times, the Tingel Arm had been subject to one of the most violent transition periods in recent galactic history, with the sudden fragmentation of the once-powerful Empire leaving a massive power vacuum, with splinter groups, independent warlords, criminal organizations and former enemies of the Empire all moving forth to fill up the void left behind and the Empire and accumulate power for themselves.

Among these opportunists was Iakar Thif, formerly a COMPPOR Operative, Thif had since become a Mercenary Leader within the Tingel Arm having assembled a considerable Mercenary Army and
acquired alot of exotic weapons from the Black Market placing him in a position where he could drastically alter the course of local conflicts, firmly establishing himself as a rising power broker in the area that held the ability to shape the direction of any conflict as he saw fit, and today would prove to be a perfect example of how much of an impact he could have throughout the Tingel Arm.

Dorin, a world that had been plagued by civil unrest throughout the reign of the Empire, had found itself caught within the crosshairs of an Imperial splinter group known as the Imperial Monsua Command, led by a certain Superior Admiral Stygian who sought to raid the planet in order to acquire new workers and conscripts for his warlord state. Thanks to his contract with the Superior Admiral, Iakar Thif and his Mercenaries were set to arrive at Dorin in order to support the military operation of the Monsua Command and ensure it's success against any potential opposition, giving Thif the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the abilities of his mercenaries and the benefits of hiring them, with the Power Broker hoping to establish a more firm partnership with the Superior Admiral just as he had done with the arms dealer Eocin Chiyat Eocin Chiyat bringing Thif one step closer towards his ultimate goal

The Wyvern emerged from hyperspace, arriving right Infront of the Blockade set up by Monsua Command. The Fleet itself was a considerable one, potentially powerful enough to challenge a medium-sized GADF Flottila in direct combat. It served as yet another testament to the power and prestige of Superior Admiral Stygian, who had alot of potential as an emerging warlord within the Tingel Arm. From the bridge of the Nebulon-A Frigate, Thif continued to gaze as the Imperial Fleet, smirking, seeing at how useful the Superior Admiral could be to his "ambitions" in the future. However, Thif's thoughts we're quickly interrupted by the Captain of the Wyvern. "Sir, we have exited from hyperspace and we are approaching the blockade" the Captain said.

"Good. hail the lead Imperial ship" Thif ordered. "It's we finally joined them in their efforts to subjugate Dorin." the Ex-Imperial proclaimed. After a few seconds, the communications officers of the Wyvern we're able to set up a communication channel with the Imperial Flagship. "This is the Iakar Thif to the MIR Topolog, we are here to fulfill the mercenary contract given to us by Supreme Admiral Stygian and await any further instructions on how to proceed with the operation"

As the frigate awaited a response from the Imperial blockade, hundreds if not thousands of Mercenaries were gearing up for the upcoming operation ready to be deployed and serve the Imperial Mousa Command, eager to get paid for their service. By the end of the day, Dorin would have been subjugated and a strong partnership between Thif's Mercenary Army and the Imperial Monsua Command would be born, providing Thif with new opportunities to expand his enterprise and ultimately achieve what he had set out to accomplish upon the collapse of the Empire
