From: Dominion Arms Procurement Division
Subject: Reconsideration of Denied Purchase Requests
To the Esteemed Leadership of Unimatrix Zero,
Dominion Arms has received your response regarding our recent purchase requests for CP/M-86 class Light Freighters and CP/M-80 class Armed Transports. The denial of these requests has been noted, though it raises significant concerns about the reasoning and process behind this decision.
Dominion Arms prides itself on conducting all business dealings with transparency, professionalism, and mutual respect. Our reputation as a reliable and ethical entity is well-documented, and we were prepared to meet any conditions or requirements necessary to finalize this transaction. To deny these requests without explanation or recourse casts an unfortunate shadow over what could have been a mutually beneficial partnership.
Dominion Arms assures Unimatrix Zero that the requested transport ships will be used strictly for ethical purposes, in full compliance with all galactic laws and trade regulations. The CP/M-86 class Light Freighters and CP/M-80 class Armed Transports are intended to support the secure movement of critical materials, including humanitarian supplies and infrastructure components, between Dominion Arms' production facilities and distribution centers. Dominion Arms is committed to maintaining the highest standards of responsibility in its operations, ensuring that these ships are utilized solely for logistics and security purposes, with no deviation into activities that could be deemed exploitative or harmful. To achieve these goals, Dominion Arms will take all necessary steps, including rigorous oversight, transparent reporting, and compliance checks, to uphold its integrity and commitment to ethical practices. These measures demonstrate our unwavering dedication to fostering trust and accountability with our partners and clients.
We initially did not want to mention the movement of humanitarian supplies was one of the fundamental objectives with this purchase, but now that we are forced to admit to our ethical use of such vessels we are worried for the security and safety of said supplies. We hope you can see that this rejection has done significant harm to our ethical responsibilities.
We would urge you to reconsider. A denial of this nature, without substantiated cause, could be interpreted as an unjust slight against Dominion Arms and its interests. While we do not seek conflict, we must make it clear that such treatment does not align with the principles of fairness and cooperation that should guide interactions between respected organizations. Dominion Arms will take necessary action if it perceives that unfair practices are taking place.
Dominion Arms operates with the understanding that its partners and suppliers value long-term relationships and the opportunities they bring. A refusal to revisit this matter would not only limit these opportunities but could also signal an unwillingness to engage in meaningful collaboration moving forward—a prospect that neither of us should take lightly.
We are confident that the
Droid Logistics Company Limited Partnership, as a reputable and forward-thinking organization, values dialogue and the importance of maintaining professional respect. Please let us know if there are concerns we can address or additional steps we can take to move forward with this transaction.
We await your reconsideration and remain hopeful that this matter can be resolved amicably.
Sincerely,
Elana Strenn
Director of Procurement
