Morgana Forceborn
Good girl. Mean Streak.
Having been moved to the city of Salis D'aar on the planet Bakura Sally Brooks, the scientist with her entire mind stored within a luxury droids body, had felt a small sense of security after escaping from Bespin. While there the authorities were looking for a droid many considered malfunctioning or a danger to the people after the number of robberies of food and clothing that had begun to spring up. All of it was fruitless attempts by Sally to try and feel human despite being trapped within a robotic shell. It didn't help any better but, after being rescued as it were, she was a little safer in knowing no one here was deliberately looking for her.
With her apparent death it meant that the competitors who had ordered it in the first place would think she was out of the way and gone; these very events being what caused her little incident to occur. It still bothered her to know who and why they'd wanted her gone, though the latter she had a good idea why. She was not the only person into the research of linking human minds to the holonet to directly converse and interface with digital information and machinery, but given how far her advancements went it was a safe bet someone wanted all the glory without her help.
For now Sally was just content to have survived, even if it did cost her a lot in the end. It didn't stop her, however, from still having the urge to feel more human. Which was why, as of this point, she was in one of the clothing stores trying on different outfits. When the clerks had asked she explained she was a special model with orders from her owner to try the clothing on, while recording with visual cameras, before she would decide on actually buying them; a further excuse being she was a busy woman who couldn't afford the time on her own. It had managed to keep them from asking further though Sally had a sense they were still questioning it.
It didn't matter. Sally, still in the changing room, was just trying something if anything at this point to try and feel real. That was all she wanted anymore. Just some way of knowing that she was still human.
