Now that I have established a return for Garith, I feel comfortable to give ideas for tech subs or the like. Before I just go write one up I personally would like to establish a full concept and then establish building the idea in an IC thread. That means I’m open to dialog from the faction and would love to rp this out with other members of the FWC.

Weapon Concept: The Duinuogwin’s Maw​

An artillery weapons platform that is stationary and affixed to castle Aldera. There would be a limited amount of them. Power or high rate of fire would not be the goal of this design. The goal would be versatility in the thought of using the munitions to help control the flow of combat. I thought, maybe five or less per side of the castle

The artillery platform would only be the delivery device. The flexibility would be in the payload/munitions. Examples… more than one type of munitions each with a unique effect.

Examples:​

Incendiary
Cryo
Electromagnetic/ Emp
Explosive rounds

These are just some example. It is possible each round might have to have a separate sub.

I don't have a lot of experience building weapons, but this looks interesting. I'd be willing to post a thread for it.

I was currently looking up one variation of a Star Wars Grenade launcher used by Storm Troopers during the days of the Galactic Empire. There was one that had a unique launching system that let a variation of different type of grenades to be launched from it.


It had cryo
Incendiary
Ion Charge
Explosive
I type of gel that when it hit the target it solidified and the target could not move.
A gas explosive

However it was my idea to use a larger version of a grenade launcher that was more of an artillery weapons platform.
