The "Easy" Mission

[member="Darth Erebos"]

Ranik had some time off, not that he wanted to... he had to because of his injuries. His fatigue was also too great until now, as that last beast he fought was something out of horror books, he had never in his life faced anything other than human-shaped and sized criminals. But now he was back in shape, and his prosthetics repaired, he sent word to the man who gave him this mission and let him know he was on his way to the old Sienar Facility. Being near Coruscant, and under One Sith control, he was very edgy. But he was under the command of Darth Erebos, though he didn't have any proof. It seemed when he was asked questions while over the planet, he was let go though, seemingly they were told beforehand that a man of Ranik's identity would be here. That thankfully helped him calm down a bit, as he didn't want to have to dogfight for no reason.

Eventually he came over the facility and saw the area to land, but the man hadn't told him which. So he chose the one that seemed the largest, the most official. You would probably land at larger, more official airports, than the small ones that couldn't accompany large scale transports. Hovering down onto the North Airstrip, he landed his Helix-class down closest to what seemed to be the entrance to the facility. Soon exiting to look around for the contact he was supposed to meet.

Earlier that day.
Erebos had escorted Ranik to his ship and handed him a datapad that held the name of the contact he would meet. "Remember that the contact has already been paid, He's cost me enough by using the excuse of not having been paid upfront to my other agents. If he persists... give him a warning from me." He said as he handed Ranik the datapad and then left the private hanger.

Now
Approaching the airstrip on a speeder came a Sullustan, a chubby one that seemed to let out a sigh of exertion when he stepped off the speeder. He wasn't fat but the way he was chubby cave away he didn't get much exercise at all. The man wore the outfit of someone that worked in airspace control and as he walked towards [member="Ranik Keeran"] he smiled a greedy smile. "Hello there, Are you Ranik?" He asked as he clapped his hands together and rubbed them a little. "The name's Meggliss Amp, I'm the contact your boss gave you." He said as he smiled his greedy smile again.

Ranik didn't have an amused face as he saw the contact approach him, he was still a little stressed by the mission before, but mostly his frown of pain was from his past; either way, he is never a very cheery man. With his suit loose, he put his hands in his pockets, rejecting any handshakes, put off a little as he hoped this Sullustan wouldn't hold him back. "The mission is to get the plans for the Interdictor, but I guess seeing no lights on, in an abandoned facility, we have a little more trouble than expected," he said, facing the man but his eyes looking around to notice no power or lights. "My job is not to get acquainted, but you can call me Ranik. I don't want you slowing me down, I want to get this job done quickly. I'll drag you if I have to, but don't let it come to that; as I'll only keep you as long as you're useful to me. So, where do we start?"

The Sullustan's face turned a little sour when he heard [member="Ranik Keeran"] say that. "Well to begin with we need to start the generators up again. " He said as he pulled out a powercell. "This should give them the kick they need, after that it's just getting the plans off the main computer. Hope you are good with a thousand year old equipment." Meggliss said with a snide tone as he walked towards the main entrance to the facility's generator complex. "I did bring along a map for you if you're interested." He said as he pulled a small holodisk from his pocket but it also revealed the blaster pistol he had.

Ranik shook his head, pulling out a datapad, "Before I go on a mission, I gather up as much information about the location, information, and potential enemies as I can. Sometimes they are just too old to have information, and this site was kept well hidden. But I know how to find things better than most others. Even with the advanced security they once had, it's now sub-par." Ranik noted, speaking about the contents on his datapad. He noticed the weapon, but didn't think twice about it. As usual, Ranik was geared to the teeth with his swords and slugthrowers. He already looked like a threat to the man before they even offered names. He really didn't want to have to kill the man, not because he'd feel bad, but it'd be a waste of a slug, and they don't usually sell slugs individually.

"Can you handle starting the generators up," Ranik asked as he followed close behind, "or do you need help?" He said in a mocking tone.

The Sullustan grumbled as he walked forwards the generator complex. "Har har." Meggliss said sarcastically as he walked forwards and stopped at the complexes locked doors. "I don't suppose you have a magic key in that gear of yours?" He asked before he looked towards [member="Ranik Keeran"] with a mocking look of his own.

Ranik smirked as the man mocked him back about the locked door in front of them. It was old, of the original Sienar design, which was the original Imperials design, and like all of their technology; they had flaws. Ranik shook his head, upset by the painful obstacle. The power was out, so hacking the door would prove useless. Instead, he drew one of his Enforcer pistols and fired off a few rounds. The weapon sounded like a damn cannon in his hand, and it could be seen by the strain of his arm, even mechanical, even hidden under his suit, it took skill to hold it. That was something Ranik learned long time ago before he lost his arm. He struck the control panel a couple times and then shooting the locking mechanism. The combined shots first released the control the control panel held over the door, while the shot to the locking bolt loosened it for easier pull away. He walked up to the door and positioned himself on one of his robotic legs that were covered by his suited pants, before kicking the left door towards the wall, pushing it towards the way the original mechanism would pull it until it pulled from the other door slightly.

Finishing up he took a breath and positioned himself in front of the left door, leaning against it and putting his fingers into the crease between the doors and holding onto the left one. "Don't be lazy, hurry up and get the other door," he ordered the man as he began to pull the left side open when the Sullustan pulled the right.

Meggliss was astonished when he saw that but then as if slapped in the face he moved to the right door and began to pull with all his might. [member="Ranik Keeran"] would be done with his door while Meggliss would be halfway through his own side before he'd let out a loud breath and began to pant as he leaned against the door, which incidentally moved due to his weight. "Huff, Huff... So there it's open." He panted as he sat down and breathed in as his face got flustered from the exercise.

The Sullustan's slowness didn't matter to Ranik as he entered the dark room. "Well," he asked, crossing his arms, "you're the generator wizz, get in here and let's get it done. You can have a small drink after, but I want to get this done quick." Ranik was sounding rude and rushing the Sullustan, but it wasn't because Erebos said he can be annoying or that he was fatter than average, but he wanted this done so he wouldn't have to worry about a bounty and be done with the One Sith.

The sullustan grumbled under his breath as he began to make his way into the generator complex but made sure that [member="Ranik Keeran"] was ahead of him every step of the way. "What's your hurry anyway?" He asked Ranik as he looked from his datapad and pointed down the corridor they had to go down to make it into the generator room.

(Sorry about the late post have a few threads I had to catch up on)
