The Echani Compact

The other thread was more of an interest gauge than anything else, and is a bit cluttered and less focused. Also it was made by Kamon, who is not the faction leader, I am. That said, I thought it better to create a new thread in order to get this out there.

We are a new faction, currently with three unique members, five over all. I know of at least one more who may join, and there were some others who expressed interest in joining us in the other thread. This thread should serve as the official announcement that the faction now exists, and we openly seek more people that are truly interested in writing conflict without having to be a brutish Mandalorian (they're out rivals, so you know).

I am open to answering any questions anyone may have, and the faction itself is open to any and all Echani or Thyrsians who wish to join it. There are a myriad of positions open within the faction. At the moment, none have really been claimed except that I am a General and a Council Member. So, feel free to join in whatever role you wish, or post here if you'd like to discuss your role with me.

P.S. If you would want to make a new character, but aren't sure of good avatars, the Castithan race from the TV show Defiance would work rather well.

For the record boh the Echani and Thyrsian are involved in this. Thyrsians being like the opposite of Echani with dark hair and such instead of Echani white. They are an offshoot.

I think I have found a new home. I make it my practice to spend a decade here or there, learning what there is to learn. I'd like to spend some time with the Echani.

Well I think Kai would be a suitable Council Member and possibly a General but would Janira be accepting of him once he goes Jennasaarai.

I'm not sure I've ever killed a Jedi. On the other hand, I've gleefully slaughtered Sith Lords. I hope that answers the first part of your question.

As for the second part...how many erudite Whiphids do you know? I've spent two hundred years as an outsider. Your racial restrictions and hesitations will not be the first I have overcome.

I've had many titles. Jen'ari has the most...shall we say, power to convince. In the spectrum and pantheon of Sith philosophy, I fall somewhere between Darth Bane and Exar Kun.

I do hope other people look in on this faction. We gladly welcome any and all. I'd especially like to see a few Thrysians join us if at all possible.

We continue to grow, and as we do so we continue to open our arms to anyone who wishes to join us. Nothing is forbidden. We hope you will all consider it. One of the greatest rivalries in Star Wars is between the Mando's and the Echani. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?
