DESCRIPTION:
The Emerald Keep is a massive structure that towers over the rest of the city of Dee'ja Peak. It is much newer than the rest of the city as it was raised when the city was given to House Valeria as their seat of power. The entire keep is constructed our of green marble with gold accents. It is surrounded by a circular wall that surrounds a courtyard often used by the citizenry as a center of trade and entertainment.
The Keep itself is used both as the official residence of the ruling House of Dee'ja Peak and also the official center of government for the city. It is here that the Princess holds court and hears grievances from citizens, receives foreign dignitaries on behalf of the Queen when required, and hosts various public functions. It houses the apartments of the Princess and her family, it also houses a large number of the House Guard who protects the Keep and the city, and a separate wing of the Keep is reserved exclusively for the Monarch of Naboo when they visit the city.
HISTORY:
Dee'ja Peak was the first settled location on Naboo and was long after a secluded city in the beautiful countryside of Naboo. However, several centuries ago, the Monarchy of Naboo granted governance of the city to the noble House Valeria, who established a principality at Dee'ja Peak and raised the Emerald Keep as the seat of their power. Ever since, the Valeria have ruled Dee'ja Peak from this ancestral Keep.
INTENT:
To expand the noble history of House Valeria and Naboo.
