Ayden Cater
Grumpy Goat
"Moments ago-" "-received notice from one of the CEOs of the Subach-Innes corporation detailing-" "-might remember Subach as the target of a massive military operation from the former Confederacy-" "-marred by allegations of war profittering and supplying ships to the Sith groups-" "According to the notice, Subach is formally closing its doors."
Ayden sat back and enjoyed observing the fruits of his handiwork. It was news all over the Holonet. For better or worse, Subach-Innes was a well known name. To find that it was shutting down was going to be the buzz for a while. Of course, some speculated that the move was coming in the wake of the massive auction that had taken place a week earlier. Others had believed that it was just the opening move to a restructuring, that Subach was rebranding itself and attempting to cast off the shadows of the past.
In truth, both were accurate statements. Ayden had spent much of the last week preparing for this move. Funds were pushed through dozens of banks, paper trails left and burned. The majority of Subach's design team had been funneled around the galaxy on transports before being brought back together inside the Protectorate. If someone really had the credits to waste, maybe they could dig up the trail amongst the misdirection he had laid, but it would have been difficult.
Ayden focused now on the second-half of his mad scheme. The funds from the auctions were already being put to good use. Factories were being set up on Sluis Van and Abregado-Rae. Malastare and Dentaal would have facilities opened within the week. They had a few fighter and bomber designs that would be useful on the market, but he wasn't about to start throwing out old Subach designs with a new corporation. They were going to need a new toy or two of their own. The question was... what to start with?
OOC: Feel free to post reactions to Subach closing. Folks who won facilities in the Subach auctions are free to tour their facilities here or make schemes of their own here.
