The Enemy of My Enemy (Clan Raxis/House Organa)

Location: Alderaan
Objective: Discuss Trade agreements and Alliance between Clan Raxis & Royal House

Houses: [member="Alyesa Organa"] [member="Faith Balor-Organa"]: Did I miss some?

Clan Raxis: [member="Jagen Wren"] [member="James Justice"] [member="Gray Raxis"] (Whomever else)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alderaan. News had reached the Clans of House Organa's declaration against the Republic. While Jack knew the United Clans were holding an ongoing peace-talks, he wasn't sure what to make of the Royal House. They seemed about as ticked off as Jack himself was. With several members of Clan Raxis in tow, he'd made way to their Capitol world and requested an audience with the House.

He was standing regarding a statue in the lobby, hand resting on his Besk'ad and Helmet beneath his left arm. His Aliit'Gam showed sings of wear and tear. Fresh carbon scoring from recent battles adorned it. His brow was furrowed and he was flanked by Raxis clan members, bearing the banner of the Red Wolf on a Black background.

"Keep it civil Vode. No weapons, remember we're here to feel out a trade agreement. Possibly a Military pact. All depend on how the United Clans and the Pubs play it, but we can play solo on the side."

James gave Jack a nod. He was wearing his typical gear now that seemed to be his gear for all Mandalorian and clan Raxis gear. If he could just get used to how this armor seemed to ride up on his armpits and joints....

The spacer nodded, his helmet on his head this time. He didn't need to upstage anyone by being present. After all, he was more than slightly famous. The last thing he needed was to distract from what was going on here. This was so much bigger than them, but if needed, he would gladly let his resources and many things be brought to the table. He didn't know too much how he felt about this recent declaration from the Republic. His allies were beginning to appear to be everywhere--and nowhere. He would have to get away from this life before too long, clear his head, think more.

"Ye got it, vod," James said.

It was probably best if he kept to himself as much as possible for this meeting, especially if there were women here.

Faith was first to enter the Great Hall where [member="Jack Raxis"] and [member="James Justice"] stood. She did not know either of these men but she had been doing a little research in order to familiarize herself.

Faith still held the Alderaan Senate Seat within the Republic, and she held the title of Minister of Intelligence for Alderaan, and Aldera. She smiled as she got closer, the guards snapping to attention as she passed them.

She shook her head one would think she had gotten use to the actions of the guards, she never did. "Su'cuy gar, Welcome to Alderaan. I'm Faith Organa. Please come with me, we'll meet with my sister [member="Alyesa Organa"] " This would give her time to talk with them, and learn their names.

Jagen Wren was late, oh boy, was he late, when the Mandalorians had arrived at Alderaan, Wren had went to a bar for one drink. One drink turned into about five and the resulting snooze was not polite to him.

He ran on one of the paths up to the House, with the smell of alcohol heavy on his breath. When he got up to the entrance he was stopped by a guard and he had to quickly explain who he was with and why he was here, sadly the guard decided to actually do their job and back check that costing Wren time that he did not have.

After a few minutes of patiently waiting that guard told him he could go in, in which he walked into the lobby and spotted [member="Jack Raxis"] and [member="James Justice"] just as [member="Faith Balor-Organa"] arrived.

Luck was nice sometimes.

Don't flirt. Don't flirt. Don't flirt. The mantra went through the spacer's mind like a Jedi reciting its creed when--

She stepped out and it was all gone from his mind. She spoke and the spacer was under the woman's spell at once. He nodded politely, smiling behind his helmet.

"Well, miss, thank ye," said the spacer through the helmet's internal air purifier. "Captain Justice. I'm here, representing," he chuckled, "well a number of interests, frankly."

The recent development of--things would certainly make for an interesting set of negotiations, that was for sure. However he fell in behind Jack and resisted the urge to give Jagen a high-five or a fist bump. That wasn't appropriate at this time. Later though, he would take him up on that.

Faith nodded and laughed a bit, "Well Captain Justice, that is a very interesting name, do you dispense justice as well?" She waited to give him time to think of a retort, while she turned to his companions.

"House Organa is glad to see you here, I can order drinks if you like, if those of you in armor have straws that accommodate such." She motioned for them to follow her.

"So what kind of trade are you gentlemen looking for, if you don't mind my asking?" She walked along the corridor heading towards the great hall.

James laughed, "In a manner of speaking, miss, I have a very strong reputation for doing so."

Jack seemed to be not too keen on the talking today. Maybe the lady's beauty had stunned him silent. James wouldn't doubt it. She was gorgeous. He was glad he had a helmet on, that much was for for sure.

All the same he could answer.

"I be representing a privateer fleet. One of the strongest in the galaxy," James explained. "Justice Shipping. I also have a number of business partners that I wun't worry a lovely like your self with rattling 'em all off. But suffice it to say from weapons to food goods, I have friends who could benefit from what we say here.

"Also, " he added at last." The New Free Colonies. I be their deligate. We have a number of reasons to want to help ye and see he succeed. If nothing else then as an ally from a long standing and honorable society such as ye own. And I be sure ye could benefit a great deal from an agreement with us too."

Jack chuckled. James was a great salesman and threw a great pitch. Yes Justice shipping could indeed provide fleet services and trade. But ol Jack was about to step on James toes a bit, so to speak. He cast a wry glance sideways as if in apology and then locked eyes with the woman, throwing his own pitch.

"The Free Colonies have a trade corporation as well. We understand the Alderaan houses want out of the Republic, and to be free. The Colonies seek to be free too, eschewing any major government and ridiculous taxation. What Free Colonial Trade Corp can offer you is a Trade Agreement. Food Stuffs, Durasteel ores and goods that were obtained through other means. All of it will be packaged in neutral containers, and untraceable. We can use Justice Shipping to move it, and in return you can import and export goods and services to the Colonies."

Jack paused letting it sink in.

"We are also looking to expand our presence. What say we provide Alderaan with a small fleet of vessels? A recent Capture of the Annaj shipyards has given us some opportunities to produce. I can give your fleet a contract for Colonial Cutters. Versatile vessels that can pack a punch, picket, recon or run down enemy scouts. Your Choice of course."

"Yes Alderaan is looking to be free of the Republic and there are some items which we cannot produce ourselves and will need to be brought in." Faith walked along with them, listening taking in the information they willingly shared with her.

Faith stopped, "Gentlemen you are more than welcome to make these deals with Alderaan, but I would also like to know if you would make a similar deal with a planet named Aldera"

She smiled, waiting to see how they reacted. They offered many things, things that Aldera could also use.

[member="Faith Balor-Organa"]

Jack nodded, handing her a datapad. It had a signatory box and the details of the deal with Free Colonial TradeCorp worked out in the fine print. She could read over it if she liked, but he was eager to close the deal swiftly. Then she hit him with a curve-ball. Aldera? He wasn't too sure what the heck an Aldera was, it was a planet?

His eyebrows shot up and he turned, gazing at her with a stern visage.

"What's the specifics? Whom owns this Aldera planet? What kind of goods do they have, what do they need?"

[member="Jack Raxis"]

"It is another planet that my family is sovereign over. Established so that the the citizens of Alderaan who did not wish to return to Alderaan had another home to go to." She smiled then. She had caught him off guard.

Which meant it was working they were able to keep Aldera secret so far.

[member="Faith Balor-Organa"]

"Aldera would have to be a second contract. We're pretty small for now, but looking to expand. Could we set up a factory there? In addition what will it require? We can get our hands on pretty much anything. Don't ask how, we just have our ways. Will they be looking for Cutters as well?"

Jack was intrigued now. Two contracts for the same meet up was a wonderful prospect. That grew trade and commerce, which was a lifeline of the Free colonies. More money in the warchest meant expansion. More Colonies, more free space to roam and live in. Things were coming together nicely now.

"Aldera offers a lot of raw materials. I will speak with my mother and see what she is willing to concede. It is exciting to know that you would consider us" Faith was happy now as they entered into the meeting hall,

"Please everyone have a seat I'm sure [member="Alyesa Organa"] will be along shortly. Can I get anyone anything?"

Wren had stayed silent so far while Jack stated everything that needed to be said, but when she had simply glided over the question of what FCTC could give Aldera twice, he knew he had to speak up

"Miss, apologies for interrupting, but if you won't disclose what Aldera needs, then I'm afraid Free Colonial TradeCorp won't be of much help, Unless you have a good reason not to, something else must going on." He said over Jack.

Fortune favored the bold.

James was glad he was wearing a helmet. The look on his face towards Jack held no love. In fact he was frankly stunned silent. Or that's what the writer is going to say what happened since he as busy spending time with family while this fast balling was going down.

The scowl on James' face deepened. He didn't appreciate the way Jack treated kin--if this was how he treated kin. There would be a long, very long chat about this afterwards. Part of it involving why his company should be involved with a government that sought to undermine his business. That wasn't going to fly at all.

"Miss Faith, if you please," James said taking his seat. "As much as I endorses the collonies, frankly they are amateurs. Militas. Minute men if you will. Well intended but not proven. My company possesses the ability to give ye anything ye wish in less than 2/3rds the time, and we dunt let blockages get in our way. We're the best around and we can train ye locals into a fighting army. I employ vets, after all and spec ops units, all I ask for in return is money, not precious materials or alligence," he said with a wave of his hand.

Jack turned towards James and shot an eyebrow up.

"I was hoping you'd deliver and we'd supply. Unless that's not an option?"

His writer was drunk.

Beer is good.

Jack incidentaly had had a few drinks himself, giving an air of recklessness about his ol self.

Beer was good. James' writer was about to indulge himself for a few hours with a choice lady in his life. Would it end in something amazing? Well, if your definition of amazing is drunken karaoke, then yes. Lots of amazing.

But frankly, the characters in this thread most likely didn't give two chits about this parallel world where college students revel in drunken renditions of Katy Perry's Firework, so sadly they would be devoid of said awesomeness in their long lives.

What they did care about was the crime Lord James Justice was thinking.

The spacer thought for a moment, before nodding, "I think we could do that. I'll even cut 20% off the price, 5% more than me standard rate."

Being late was something Alyesa had become accustomed to, atleast in recent weeks.

She didn't break stride as she entered the room, taking a seat at the proper place closest to Faith. She set a datapad down before her and adjusted her chair accordingly. A sigh escaped her lips as she gestured about. "I do apologize for my tardiness, I had some urgent business come up that took a bit of my time." She offered a smile before looking to Faith and then to Jack. "So, how can I help you?" She was sure that these were details that Faith had already gone over and if her sister felt it necessary - she would speak for them and offer her their proposal instead of them having to repeat themselves. Then again, Faith might just allow them to throw the proposal out their first hand.

She wasn't sure.

For now, it was right down to business - as it always was.

The spacer gave a visible start when Alyesa walked in--enough to even be visible though the helmet and armor he was wearing. He laughed, a genuine hearty laugh. What were the odds? The man took his helmet off, running his fingers through his messy hair a few times, bringing it back to life.

"It seems we meet again, miss," James said genuinely amused, "What be the odds?" He looked to Faith, "Ale please, no ice," he chuckled, "Ye will want to bring the bottle, me thinks," he glanced at Jagen, "Or perhaps four."

James looked to Alyesa, time for a recap. "Just a few technicalities, miss. Me friends at the Free Colonies here would like to make ye ships, in return they'd like to set something up on Aldera, preferably another spot to mine the resources. I'll be ye go between. In addition if ye would like, we can hire the best of the best in me corps to make an army for ye out of the locals ye got on world--just in case things go south or help train ye militias to fighting shape, no matter the odds stacked against 'em."
