The Eriadu Ascendancy: Making Seswenna Great Again!
"If we aren't willing to do whatever is required, then we risk losing what we have been mandated to protect"
~Wilhuff Tarkin
Information & IntentionsThe Seswenna Sector has served as a major commerce hub and center of trade in the southwest corner of the Outer Rim for centuries, sitting on the intersection of several hyperspace routes including the Rimma Trade Route, the Hydian Way, the Lipsec Run, and the Yankirk Route. In addition, Eriadu, the primary planet in the sector, is home to the famous (or infamous, depending on your point of view) Tarkin family. The family's patriatch, one Vandar Tarkin, has begun massing forces in a bid to establish a solid, sovereign empire to rule the sector, so it does not become a plaything or a galactic stepping stone.
Vandar commands his forces with the Tarkin Doctrine always at the forefront of his mind, using displays of force to establish control. The Tarkin patriarch has a sizable power base on his homeworld, where several royal families have pledged support for the Carrion Lord's promises to keep the sector safe from the hands of foreign powers.
Vandar is poised to begin making moves to control the sector, but he can't do it without your help!
Military
Within the Eriadu Ascendancy exist many branches and specializations. Much like the Galactic Empire, the Ascendancy is split into branches, including devoted Army and Navy ones as well as the Rangers and the Voidstone Trooper Division, with more bound to develop as the Ascendancy expands.

The Eriadu Army Troopers serve as the rank-and-file soldiers of the Eriadu Ascendancy, and while they may not be as elite or well-armed as other branches, they are the most numerous. They are disciplined, organized, and with mechanized support they undertake most of the Ascendancy's combat operations. They have already been deployed to several smaller cities and villages to root out resistance and protect loyalists, and are eager to march on Eriadu City. (x)
Also within the Army of the Ascendancy are the elite Army Pathfinder Commandoes, more well-armed and better trained than Army Troopers, but not to the same level as the independent Rangers. Pathfinder Commandos are clad in Planetary Garrison armor abandoned by the First Order when they left Eriadu years ago, and use the advanced armor to undertake missions too dangerous for Trooper squads. They are the middle ground between Troopers and Rangers, serving in a capacity akin to Clone Commandos. (post coming soon, will update)
If the Pathfinder Commandos are the Ascendancy's Clone Commandos, the Rangers are their ARC Troopers. Numbering only about two hundred, the Eriadu Rangers undergo an extended period of grueling training mainly taking place on the Carrion Plateau, earning them the nickname 'Carrion Troopers.' Rangers are ruthless, unwavering soldiers and survivalists who Vandar Tarkin wields as not just elite special forces but as symbols of power and fear. In this capacity, they are the the true emblems of the Tarkin Doctrine, applied on a much smaller scale. (x)Source: CptRex on deviantArt
Serving aboard the Ascendancy's naval vessels are the Eriadu Marines. The Marines serve as vanguards of friendly vessels and as boarding crews for enemy ones, equipped with void-proof armor fusion cutters, and often times det packs or missile launchers. They are trained to operate in low- and zero-gravity situations, and receive instruction in the operation of Spacetrooper powersuits. Marines are the main trooper class of the Navy. The dark, mysterious Voidstone Division are among the most unique troops in the Ascendancy. These elite soldiers serve as bodyguards for high-ranking Ascendancy officials, as well as providing a much-needed defense against Force-Wielders. A new generation of "Knighthunters," the Voidstone Troopers are uniquely equipped to deal with opponents capable of calling on the Force; electrostaves, charrics, sonic blasters, and cortosis gauntlets are standard gear for Voidstone Troopers, allowing them to fight on more even footing with Forcefuls who would threaten Vandar Tarkin and the leadership of the Ascendancy. Of course, a galactic power is nothing without a navy. The Eriadu Navy is organized and built-up with the Tarkin Doctrine in mind, consisting of ships provided by the Eriadu Manufacturing Shipyards and Kuat Drive Yards with a heavy focus on Imperial-style Star Destroyers. The Navy uses Donnager-Class Star Destroyers and the acclaimed Pellaeon III-class, as well as smaller support craft and what's an Imperial style military without TIE fighters? (profiles coming soon tm^2)Government
The government of the Eriadu Ascendancy is currently led solely by Vandar Tarkin, though as it expands governors and Moffs will be appointed by the Carrion Lord based on loyalty, adherence to the Tarkin Doctrine, and willingness to do what is necessary to protect the Seswenna Sector and its inhabitants. Eriadu will serve as the capital of the Ascendancy, as is to be expected.

BeliefsMany members of Eriadu's nobility still hold humanocentric beliefs, and as such the Ascendancy ascribe to Human High Culture ideals as well; Human sub-races and Near-humans that can easily pass for humans, such as Kiffar, Epicanthix, Korunnai, and Hapans are usually accepted into the Ascendancy's ranks without question.
On the other hand, near-humans physically similar to humans but visibly alien, like Chiss, Arkanians, Mirilians, and other "technicolor humans" are expected to perform exceptionally, to 'earn their place.' Besides abiding by these beliefs, this also serves the dual purpose of cutting down on equipment costs.
Vandar is also a strong believer that "might makes right," and those who prove themselves to be ruthless and cunning will advance farther in the Ascendancy. Tarkin promotes fearlessness, loyalty, and selfless service among his men, and instills these virtues in every member of the military during the first weeks of basic training.
