- Description: The Extolled were a caste of the Yuuzhan Vong that had long split from their people. They were unique in that traits from all castes found themselves in the Extolled. Once vilified hundreds of years ago they were now revered by reformed Vong across the Galaxy. They had humble lives serving various Jedi Orders and at various Jedi holy sites. They protected ancient Jedi artifacts, taught younglings their history, and kept these places clean and generally kept upkeep of some of the most remote and forgotten Jedi locations. Occasionally even these Vong could be felt in the Force, and even rarer were the Force sensitive.
- Headquarters: Zonam Sekot
- Domain: They work across the Galaxy with notable locations being Ilum, Tython, Jedha, and Ach To.
- Notable Assets: N/A
- Hierarchy:
- Membership: Those born into the Caste have been the only Vong to have shown signs of Force Sensitivity or connection to the Force, though service with the Extolled is permitted from any Vong, no matter the Caste.
- Climate: They are friendly to all allies of the Light and deadly to any that would cast a shadow upon it.
- Reputation: The Extolled were the Caste originally responsible for the beginning of the Ossus Project, the technology that would eventually aid in reconstructing worlds that had long since been obliterated either by the Vong themselves or other weapons of mass destruction. Because of this their reputation, along with that of all Vong, saw a turn for the better around the early 420s ABY. However, beasts like the ones that followed the Sith Empire into battle tarnished that with Vong biots, viruses, creatures, and warriors burning paths throughout the Galaxy. People still remember that the Vong were responsible for the rebirth of the Galaxy, but they can also now never be sure which side the Vong fought for in the last few decades of war and strife. This makes the overall reputation of the Extolled difficult. People know the Extolled and what they stand for, but they can't tell when one is Extolled or a Vong that aided the Sith. Sometimes it is indeed both.
- Curios: They wear robes similar to those worn by the Jedi, sometimes wearing a necklace with a kyber crystal hanging from the center.
- Rules:
- The Light is absolute
- The Jedi are both our charge and protectors
- Do not fight another Jedi
- Do not visit violence upon another unless they are of the Shadow or in defense of the Jedi and their belongings
- All life is sacred
- Violence is the last resort
- Goals: To defend and maintain the temples, lore, and lives of all Jedi

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Established by the original Shamed Ones during the Yuuzhan Vong war, there was a belief among the Shamed that the Jedi were connected to their creator God and thus were not the enemy. This Jeedai Heresy would go on to aid in the defeat of the Vong and would produce shapers and warriors that would fight for the Alliance. These Vong were championed by the Jedi, especially the Skywalker family and would go on to develop the Ossus Project. Convinced that the Jedi would return after their defeat at Ossus, Master Shaper Nei Rin stayed behind in hiding, defending the deepest tunnels and vaults of the Jedi Temple on Ossus in order to defend the Skywalker Legacy. After the war with the One Sith was won, she continued to spread the idea that the Vong had an obligation to defend the Legacy of the Skywalkers, which eventually changed to defending the legacy of the Jedi and finally to defending the Legacy of the Force.
Though the Ossus Project sabotaged, the technology would go on to aid future generations of Vong to aid in the full reconstruction of the Galaxy. The feats performed by the Extolled Ones and their Shapers changed the Galaxy for the better forever, rebuilding worlds such as Alderaan and Byss which had been totally destroyed. After their work was done the Extolled returned to the Jedi temples, learning, teaching, defending, and maintaining the Jedi's legacy. They did their honorable work at the most remote and forgotten of temples and the most well-traveled places of pilgrimage, dedicating their lives to the work.
