The Far Lands

[member="Ayy'Seela"]

Seoul was far away from most things in the galaxy, the locals were nice and the jedi themselves had worked with them. Anaara was looking at the station they had here for fabrication and processing with the people. So working out here had its benefits, they normally worked with Sasori and its companies to expand and test their equipment, havign a source of income, having a way to get cheaper imports and a market for their exports. It was well worth it as the ship arrived. They were testing a new design and had asked for pilots, hiring ones who were skilled and would hopefully be able to put a ship through its paces. The StealthX inspired and looking ship there within the testing hanger as it was visible against the floor and not moving. A number of other ships populated where they were but it wasn't much as they usually ran transports between the planet and here. "Is everything done?" She was curious looking at the area while she gave a nod of her head seeing some fo the reports. "Yes Anaara." A sirk from one of the biots that were working on things. "We have sent out the job offer for skilled pilots to test new ships and offered substantial payment in credits or upgrades and materials for ships."

Ayy just so happened to be in a nearby system as the job offer came through, being a bit light on credits and always willing to test new ships this seemed like the perfect deal to her; getting paid to test fly a ship, and although her name really wasn't big yet, she liked to believe she could pilot a ship better than most smugglers in the galaxy, she could certainly upkeep a YT series better than most had managed to, still having all the original plating the same colour, granted the work took a lot of time and effort but it kept her beauty presentable. She sends through her response and acceptance of the job as the ship hyperdrive kicks in for a jump to this Seoul. She slowed for approach but giving it enough speed to still be fun as the YT-2000 breaks atmosphere, it's unique shape bending the flames in almost a winged fashion. She sets it down at whatever landing pad was public use as the gangway lowers down. Ayy quickly made sure her lekku were in the way she wanted them before strutting down the gangway, looking around at where she was, waiting for a reply on comms now she was at the planet surface, expecting to have to take a transport to the station for safety reasons.

"Lady Clandestine a pilot has come." Anaara stood there looking over at the planet as she gave a nod of her head. They had some of the ships flying overhead with a look on her face before the woman started for the landing pad. Seeing where it was and she secured the business styled bodysuit. Here on Seoul where the weather was mostly artificial after the terraforming it ranged from reallly hot to realy cold without a middle ground yet formed. She was walking through and came out onto the landing platform speaking as the wind picked up and tossed her hair around. The small nubs of her head were covered by it but she offered a smile to the twi'lek while observing her ship. A beauty of a design and well if she had brought this then she knew how to use and maintain a ship. Corellian engineerings products were great for upgrades and maintaining them took a gentle hand. "Welcome to Seoul, I am Anaara Clandestine. Are you one fo the pilots here for the job offer?"

Ayy looks around at the state of the area around her, such a strange decision to decide to colonise a planet like this, the signs of terraforming were everywhere yet it seemed to be early days. Always surprised her that these factions could find new planets to colonise that seemed to have nobody else there before. It was times like this she was glad for her skin tight but also temperature controlled vacsuit, it keeping her the perfect temperature on planets like this, although her lekku were getting cold out here, and that was something she was very much not fond of. A lady then wandered up to her in terribly boring attire; it almost impressed Ayy that they could make a female bodysuit dull but here it was, so this must be the boss. She nods "Sure am, I'd like to think I'm /the/ pilot for the job actually. Not many can handle a ship first time like I can, Ayy'Seela." she introduced herself with a smile, blaster hung at her waist as usual

Anaara gave her a raised eyebrow to that claim but she liked it and had a smile on her face. Warmth and have a nod. "Hmm well then we will have to test that theory. Please just say what you need for your ship and we will refuel it. The locals are thankful for new people and want to make a good impression." Anara said it while she was walking and tapped into her datapad. Getting one of the numa headwraps for her. She knew how it could be but with a look towards the hanger she was bringing the captain/pilot in to see the squadron of StealthX's. The droid appearing and bringing the protective wrap for her as she spoke. "Here a gift, a numa wrap for lekku. Temperature controlled and even able to protect from lightsabers or blasters in a firefight." She said it with a grin on her face before turning to look at the ships. They were a little larger then normal but looked like a normal X-Wing just black polymer coating that reflected the microcrystals they were testing for it when idle to go into an active camo mode. The astromechs were set up and ready to look at everything.

Ayy grins, she loved it when people decided to test her; it was even more fun demonstrating her skills when she had a reputation to live up to, gave pressure to the performance, which is something the Twi'lek liked. "She doesn't need that much fuel, I've been fiddling with the engines to make them more efficient at sub hyperspace level, getting about 150% over stock build at the moment." she said happily, noticing the droid bringing her something. This 'numa wrap' supposedly to protect lekku, she takes the headgear carefully, inspecting it closely as she turned it over in her hands, feeling along the folds for anything. An ex slave never forgets how the lekku can be exploited after all. Eventually she felt confident that this was safe, so she put it on then put her goggles over them. "Thanks for that." she looks into the hangar, whistling "Ah Incom base eh? Heh, good little ships those, simple controls almost like a Skyhopper."

Engines preforming at over one hundred and fifty percent.. that was scary and impressive. THey had made a performance booster to do that for a few seconds. She was looking at it though and... "yes but sadly Incom hasn't produced in awhile. They are talented but the few things they make are heavily contracted with them being able to take back your purchase without refund for any reason." She said it and it was partially true, Incom didn't seem to do much but this was a Saotome ship that they were working on. They had a number of systems built into it. "We have taken the ancient design, hyperspace tracking, advanced navigational computer class 1 military grade hyperdrive, self sustaining recycler that can get you water, oxygen and food to let you scout. Optical camo coating to the ship will let it when idle in space become nearly impossible to see." She was looking at some parts of it as she brought it up. "The laser cannons have been changed to a variable system able to utilize laser or switch to ion, the bomb bay has been converted to a bomblet generator allowing it to use the energy from the reactor and solar collection panels to produce more energy bombs. Making limited room in the bay no longer an issue and secondary nano missile launcher with ion tags to disable and track enemy fighters."

Ayy shrugs "I suppose product recalls would be an issue if I ever abided by them. Eheh, forget you heard that yeah? I'm the picture of legality I promise." she blushes at the line that normally worked well with other smugglers, forgetting this was a more legal venture she was going into. "Class one hyperdrive huh? Now you're speaking my language. Always wanted to try one of those out; they're near impossible to get hold of." she looks the weapons over, nodding "Nice self sustaining weaponry. Sounds very unique but I'm more of an explosive entrance kinda gal. Hence the YT; she's very good at powering through anything and blasting out the other side. But this will be a fun test as well. So when do I give her a test flight for ya?" she asks, checking along the S-foils.

Anaara gave her a smile. "The picture of legality huh?" Sort of a shame, she did like the rogue types but the smile remained while she turned around allowing the pilot to go over the weapons and ideas. "We can begin now, just climb up and run your systems check." Anara was moving back towards the control room and spared a glance back towards the twi'lek who was well... she'd hate to say charming but damn she did like her style. Explosive entrance and powering through it over being shy. She could support that and hopefully maybe they would be able to get her some nice things as payment or maybe hire her on for testing future projects. Always a need for someone skilled and they did have designs on what would hopefuly be advanced bombers and interceptors. The canopy opening for the pilot to reveal the cockpit that gave the saotome chair, form fitted gel covering that warmed the body and improved circulation in the body, protected from heavy g force on the body and could slide into a small compartment that doubled like a two person cabin. SMall but able to hold a pilot and co-pilot or passenger for small stints together before they went crazy.

She nods, walking to the cockpit as she started to climb in, draping her lekku over her chest so as to not lean back on them in the cockpit. She gives the controls a once over, getting a feel for where everything was located before almost immediately hitting the right buttons to initiate a systems check. "Okay everything looks stable, this stealth system drains a bit of power but thats natural for tech like this. Engines online and guidance systems booting up smoothly." she flicks another switch "And weapons are now live as well." she looks over to the woman "Okay then, so what now?"

[member="Ayy'Seela"]

Anaara was looking at the displays and she spoke with a grin on her face. The systems were all looking gren and ready for them as she spoke. "We read you clearly and the systems look good. How is the main areas space, you should be able to slide back into a small cabin that lets you have a living area and holonet connection. Something to test out when you get back. For now take her up and test out her skills in atmosphere, we don't want to leave for space just yet alright." She said it with a grin though and crossed her arms. "I'll have something to drink when you get back... if you drink that is. Any preferences?"

"The main area is alright, although I will admit to not being a fan of riding conga line myself; I prefer being sat next to a copilot but that's just preferences. Seat is nice though, bit too comfy in my opinion but its the kind of thing that should sell well." she takes the controls carefully "In atmosphere only, got it. Drinks? Eh something strong, don't care what. Everyone stand clear." she says as she activates the engines first try, starting up the launch sequence

[member="Ayy'Seela"]

Hmm something strong huh... well she could do that while she was going to the screen to observe the information about the ships performance. if they could do it correctly then she was would working on. She took notes for what she said about the space, placement and the seats themselves but that was somethign that could be expected when she was moving around. "Noted as well thank you." She crossed her arms over her chest and grinned to herself, wanting to check out how much she could really move with the performance boosters to the engines and the weapons. She would and should be able to open it up pretty impressively.

She then guns the engines, launching from the hangar at full speed and tilting straight up, ascending vertically before leveling out and trying a series of rolls and tricks "Okay this thing goes at a great pace. Although I've noticed a slight lag in the yaw of the ship." she says, hoping her notes were either being recorded or listened to. It seemed she was being honest at her ability to fly anything, piloting this ship like she had bern in the seat for months instead of moments

Her notes were being taken down and improvements could be made while the bsuinesswoman listened and could see how she was openign it up fully. The tibannaX isotope within making it so the engines burned almost fuly invisible for them, the stealth X-wing evading their sensors with the polymet coating and everything about its mass altered from the modulator.. Over all they were having a hard time tracking it aside from the color against the sky itself. A visual sight that was there and then gone... its speed compared to many other things more then impressive enough. "We read you an d keep it going, there are some targets out there, try out the ion and laser cannons."

She grins at the prospect of weaponry, pulling out of the spin she was doing to pilot towards the targets, priming the weapons she starts blasting with the laser canons, hitting several targets with ease, finding the ion canon more difficult on concept more than aim, always charging too early or too late "The lasers are very fun; I'm not quite used to ion weaponry though so this may take time." she warns, doing another pass, getting better with each one as she grasped the timing better.

SHe was handling it better then Anaara thought she would so working on what would be a bonus to them something they could celebrate with and she could get her some parts for her ship. "Good work, we are activating the energy bomblet generator and the ion package. it uses tags to lock on locations for the missiles to fire even if they are behind you. They will also disable shields when they manage to connect." Anaara had a grin while sending more targets out to meet the captain. SHe was proving highly effective so it didn't seem like a problem and should it become one they could end the simulation.

Ayy laughs, the weapons under control now she switches to the missile targeting trigger, keeping the ship doing slick maneuvers to test its tolerance as she buzzed the ground while inverted to launch a volley of missiles at approaching targets, rolling out of harms way as they detonate, the ship easily escaping blast range and getting into position for another flyover to destroy more targets "Targeting computer is working like a charm, solid lock ons are maintained until it is lost on the radar. Weapons are slowly recharging as well as expected also."

Good that was what she liked to hear in most cases that what they were using was going well. Instead of the systems messing up. "Alright then captain. WHen you feel finished return to base. We have information about the performance here and the next stage will be in space." She said it but was looking at a small celebration for it so far. THey had done well and testing out some fo the advanced systems like the hydrostatic shielding, the solar shielding would be important as well as the ion shields for worlds like mimban and ylesia. Anaara was grinning to herself pulling one of the wookiee drinks out and those were made to knock the massive beasts on their backsides so for them... she expected fun smelling the fruit flavored drink.

"Copy that. Returning to base now, let's test how this baby lands. Clear the LZ." she says over the intercom, more because she always wanted to say that than to look professional. She was used to piloting a ship that emptied a landing site by its presence. She swings the ship around into the hangar, skidding on the landing skids as it spun with the momentum so it was facing out the hangar again. She popped the cockpit open, vaulting out the side of the ship and onto the ground, smiling "Easy landings."
